In this step-by-step spring/summer 2013 hair tutorial I'll show you a criss-cross hair styling technique that can be used to create many different looks. Here are just a couple of ideas on how to incorporate into into a half updo (feel free to curl your hair for a more romantic look!), a side swept ponytail with a bohemian feel to it, and into an elegant formal updo for work or special events. Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial in this video, we'll show you a crisscross hair, styling technique that can be used in many different hairstyles. Let me know which hope you liked most in the comments down below after I've delicately teased the hair on my crown for an extra height, which is just an optional step. I grab a section of hair from the right side of my head and peanuts of my way. I take a section of hair from the left and bring it over to the other side. I want to secure it with bobby pins crossing them over for a good hold. I grab another strand from the left side of my head and gently secure it with a hair pit. Now we can release the section on the right side, smooth it out and print over the previous section, just as before, I'll secure it in place with bobby pins. I want to repeat the entire procedure many times as I work my way down to my neck. You you and that's very secure. My last section I get the side swept hairstyle. If your hair is much longer than mine, you could also curl it for a more romantic look. Secure in their maiden hair into a ponytail will create another hairstyle with a fresh and playful feel to it. If your hair is as thin as mine, you could also wrap it around your hairline, like so secure it in place and tuck the ends under the surrounding hair. In case they're still hard to hide. You could cover it up with a flower accessory or a headband. You or you could create a small twisted bun if you wish, you can pin it to create a flower right on top of it.
