Hello, everyone and welcome back to another video. Today we are doing it to Christmas, inspired hairstyles for all those Christmas parties that are coming up in the next month. So this video is in collaboration with G H day, so we're going to be using all of their products and this video from their optical Christmas collection and they have beautiful. So I have gone for a sleep kind of straight and top updo and elements going for a curly, a kind of braided look and we kind of feel like we look a little bit like Disney Princesses. We had a lot of fun yeah I feel like. I look like Cinderella. I kind of look like Sir, why to start off, I'm going to be using the GHD style straight and smooth spray, so I just spray this into the ends of my hair and run it through with my fingers, and this helps it stay. Nice and smooth - and it doesn't go super frizzy when you blow dry. So then of course, I'm just going to blow dry my hair, because we want it all nice and dry. When I'm using the heat, then I'm just going to brush it all out and get it looking smooth, I'm obsessed with this paddle brush. It'S amazing. It makes my hair look really soft and shiny, and it's great if you have long hair anyway. Moving on to the greatest part of this hairstyle, I'm going to take a section kind of like and line the top of my eyebrow and split it into two. Then I take the section from closest to my face and take it over the top and twist is so you're kind of twisting the pieces over the top of each other, then very similar to a Dutch braid you're, going to start adding into one side of your Twist so I'm gon na zoom in it on the other side, so you can see it a little better. But what I do is I just sort of pick up a chunk of hair and add it into the twist and take the piece of hair over and then under. And then, when I get to my ear, I stop and I just continue twisting as normal, without adding any hair. Next. I just took this round the back of my head and used a bobby pin to secure it into place. It may seem really complicated at first, but trust me once you practice it's way easier than any French or Dutch braid. So, just again, on the other side, splitting the section into two taking one over the top then under and creating a twist, then you start adding hair into one side of the twist which is closest to your face. You just pick it up twist it over the top and wrap it under then grab the other side twist it over the top and under then, once you get to your ear, you just keep twisting to the bottom of the strainer here to finish it off. I'M just going to secure it to the back of my head. So what I do here is, I wrap it round and then tuck it under the previous braid from the other side of your head and that way it kind of hides the bobby pin. So you just pin that underneath, as you can see there and then you can just play around with the other side and make sure it's all tucked under and secure, and I kind of got the inspiration for this from the latest Cinderella movie and she also had These really beautiful curls, so to achieve that, I'm going to be using the creative curl wand from the GHD curve range, and it comes in this beautiful Christmas packaging from the Arctic gold collection - and this is what it looks like this - is me trying to count how Long, it takes to heat up because it's so fast, it's legit crazy, like I don't know how it heats up that fast anyway, once I've got my glove on, I'm going to apply a little bit of the GHD curl hold spray before each piece that I curl. So then, I'm taking the curler and I'm just wrapping the hair around that super easy super straightforward. Even I can do it and I'm like the worst at curling, my hair. You just have to hold it for five seconds. It'S really fast as well, and then I wait for it to pull down in my hand. A little bit then grab some hairspray and spray that to secure the curl sort of thing hold the curl make it hold longer. You know what I mean and then just moving on to the next few pieces. I really like the shape of the barrel of this curler. It'S a little bit different, it's kind of a little bit flashier, it's not completely cylinder, and I think this works really well with my long hair and creates like a really soft kind of more natural curl and yeah. It'S really quick and easy to achieve. Often, when I brush my curls out, they just go completely flat. So what I like to do is take some of the GHD style, smooth and finish serum rub this through my hands and then just use my fingers to finger comb it out and run through the curls break them up a little a little bit and make them A little bit loose and usually after about half now, once they cool down, they drop out a little bit more and a little bit more softer and yeah. I just kind of leave them like this for now, and I really like it. I hope you guys enjoy this too and moving on to Tara's hairstyle, so I also started by using this straight and smooth spray and has heat protectant system in it. So it's really good. If you're going to be blow-drying your hair or straightening, it like, I was so just apply that to damp hair and dragged it all off, and I also use the anti-static comb just a brush through my hair. It'S got really nice wide teeth, so it wasn't going to stretch my hair or break it or anything. So I'm just going to straighten my hair using the optical piece Tyler. It is pretty like glittery silvery gold color, so I started off by sectioning my hair. So just clipped it over and I sort of roughly grabbed quite big sections of hair and just straighten them, because the styler heats up to the perfect temperature. You don't have to worry about making sure you get really small sections to straighten and I just always get a really good result. It'S really soft really smooth and my hair looks really nice and shiny after I straighten it. I find I just went through section by section until all my hair was nice and straightened. I also just turned under the ends a bit just so that they were curved a little bit more and not so dead straight, and I think it looks a little bit more natural because I just teased the top to put some volume into the roots and teeth. Don'T sort of pull around the top half of my head where I was gon na tie it up and I use the comb just to smooth it out a bit and I pinned up some pieces because maybe it's not too long, so I pinned it up so That it set where I wanted it to for the ponytail. I just used a hair tie to secure around, and then I added this pretty red Christmasy ribbon, which I think looked really cute. I just tied a simple knot in it and I think it adds a really easy kind of Christmasy touch to my hairstyle. Next, I pulled out a little bits of hair and made its it just how I wanted it and pinned back my fringe and because it wasn't quite long enough to reach the ponytail just bobby, pin it to finish it all off. I just use some of the smooth and finish serum, so this just kind of did that final smoothing touch and got any flyaways or smooth down then kind of made it look nice and shiny. Then I also just use a touch of hairspray on the top, because I did have a few little flyaways and that is the finished look. So I think it's pretty cute little bow half updo quite sleek. So those are our two holiday hand styles, and we hope you guys enjoyed them. So JHD want more people to get the gift of great hair this Christmas, so they're running a campaign called his PhD because they want you to hint to a loved ones.
