Hello, everyone welcome to my channel welcome to this video. That'S going to be this year's makeup predictions. What i think we are going to see in 2022, like what kind of makeup products do. I think we're going to see what kind of trends do i think we're going to see. This is all like games and speculation, but it's always fun to come back and just check whether or not we were correct or incorrect. So this video is going to be all about what i think we are going to see in 2022, let's jump into it and if you haven't been here for if this is your first video here hello, my name is andrew. I'M such a lover of beauty makeup. I love everything, beauty makeup related, i love playing with it. I love speculating about it and i especially love colorful things like this look right here. So if you want to see some more makeup on timeline, if you want to see some more color in your timeline definitely do subscribe, because i upload well normally five times a week, but right now, every day until christmas, this is gon na, be, i think, the Fourth year in a row that i'm doing this, i will link the video down below where i'm reacting to last year's predictions like what i thought we were gon na see in 2021 and you can check back and see whether or not i was correct with that. I am wearing uh this palette today. Let me show you wait, i'm failing i'm wearing the hummingbird palette. This is the odin's eye and fancy face collab as i'm filming this. This palette is still in stock. I did film a thing for uh instagram. I will leave it down below in case it's live. If it's not live, it should be live, but if it's not live just check my instagram, i do upload quite a lot of things there as well, and i will link in the description box the things that i have on my face. But let's jump into my predictions, i want to talk about one prediction that i already talked about in a live that i had and actually when i asked my best friend like what do you think we're gon na see in 2022. She also said this and i think that this is going to be a trend, and that is, i think, we're coming back to thin brows. I know i know hold on to your seats buckle up. I think we're coming back to thin brows and, if you're like me and you like, jumping on new trends when it comes to makeup you're, probably like oh, it's another trend for us to try or maybe you're the kind of person. That'S always been rocking like your own style or had your own brows. Some people have very natural like nicely shaped, like naturally nice, but you understand like according to the norm, brows or brows, that they feel very comfortable with and they never follow any trends. I will say i'm the kind of person that i like trends. I like jumping on trends. I feel like sometimes people talk down upon trends like it's like it's only a trendy thing right now like. Why would you want to do that? Just like? I think it's fun with trends, but i'm also the kind of person that loves change and, if you're, the kind of person that doesn't love change. I understand why you wouldn't like trends, because trends is all about changing things up. So for me, i just see trends as another way of just changing my routine up, i don't mind going back to thin brows. I do have naturally thin brows. I'Ve always had that, which was very easy for me when the like the thin brow trend was in because i literally didn't have to do anything with my brows. I don't pluck my brows right now. I'M filling them up in a bit to make them a bit. Thicker, because that has been the trend that i've really been enjoying it, but i do think, and i've seen it as well. I do think we're coming into some more, maybe not as thin like not the pamela anderson brown like let's not go there, but i do think that we're coming into some trends like to see some, maybe some years with some thinner brows. It'S going to be exciting to see like the 2022's version of that, because i definitely think that we're gon na have that. One trend that i didn't really see coming when it came to makeup last year was that the y2k trend was so big with like fashion and like fashion and social media, especially with like tick, talkers and instagrammers. They were really embracing the y2k trend and they even became big on the catwalk if you're, keeping up with if you're, keeping up with like high-end fashion, blue marine did something really fun with y2k trends, and i really appreciated their take on like taking that back. To now so, i do think that if something's gon na be really trendy within like fashion and i'm thinking more like streetwear fashion, i'm thinking like what people on instagram are doing what people on tiktok are doing and what people are like wearing out and about. I definitely think that a lot of brands, especially more like faster brands like colourpop, are gon na jump on that or like bh cosmetics also did something more white 2k inspired. Where else did i see it? I know i saw some from other brands as well like just jumping on the trends of what's going on in, like streetwear or like everyday fashion, what's hip in fashion, i think we're gon na see more interpretations into makeup off trends like that, i honestly don't know If we are letting go of y2k 100, because i feel like people are right now, just embracing it a bit more, i'm never going to be ready for low rise, jeans and butterflies. I will say, though, i'm really happy that, like rhinestones are coming back, i'm not sad about that. I feel like rhinestones are having a moment right now, i'm kind of living for it. I enjoy it. One trend that we have seen a lot like in 2020 and 2021 has been that there's been a boom of new brands. Literally, there's been like a new brand every week almost and it's been crazy, like there's been so many new brands, but they've also been less brands, so we've seen some brands disappear, becca disappeared. We'Ve also seen some others like. I can't even think about any right now. My tongue, like coastal scents, disappear. There are brands that have disappeared and i would not be surprised if we saw more brands disappear. Tatty beauty closed down and i i wouldn't be surprised if we saw more influencer brands close down. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw more bigger mainstream bands close down. I also would not be surprised if some brands - just you know ghost those like they disappear and we don't think about it, like coastal scents closing down it. Wasn'T that, like they just sent out a mail when they were done not even a closing sale or anything, so i think we're gon na see all kinds of brands disappearing from the scenes. I don't necessarily think that it has to do with a brand going bankrupt. It could also be about maybe not making as much money as they want, maybe wanting to like focus and do something else. Instead, maybe it's owned by a parenting company like becca was owned by, is it estee lauder and they just took their favorite products and gave them to another brand instead, like smashbox, i don't know. I think there are different ways that this could go um so yeah. I'M gon na be interested to see if there's any more brands closing down in 2021. I would not be surprised if there was a couple if i'm gon na be. This is just my guess: it's not even a stab in the dark. I really think that there are more brands that are gon na disappear and, like i said not necessarily because they're going bankrupt, it could be so many different reasons. I also have seen a trend lately that i've really been enjoying for a really long time. It seemed like brands were totally unable to release something unless they were releasing a big huge collection like they couldn't just release. One thing it had to be one thing with two blushes and three highlighters and five different lip colors and two different finishes, and some brushes and some stickers and a mirror like it was a lot. That was a thing for several years and a thing that i've seen this past year that i've actually like. I thought about it, and i was like huh. This is actually something that's been a thing, and that is that brands are releasing either smaller collections or just the one thing that they want to release. It doesn't have to be a full collection, just release a bronzer, just release the new blush formula, just release the new lip formula just release a new palette like it doesn't have to be this big collection. It doesn't have to be that big and i've also seen some brands they're like they're, releasing a palette and like three new colors in the lipstick to go with it like it doesn't have to be that big of a like in full circus. Something can have a moment on its own without having the company of like an entire range, and i do think that we are going to see more of that brands just releasing either very small collections or just the thing. The thing that they wanted to release, because sometimes i feel like the collections that have been released you can, you can tell you - can smell it. You can almost taste it in the air that they are releasing things just for the sake of releasing it just to say that it's a collection, but it's so obvious that they only really put effort into the one thing. I said last year that i thought that last year was going to be like this year between, depending on was you that i thought that 2021 was going to be the year of multi-chromes within like mainstream, and i haven't really seen that i've seen. I will talk about this and you've already seen that video in the video where i am discussing what i thought was going to happen for 2021. I do discuss what brands have actually embraced. Multichromes, like, for example, odenzai did put some multi-chrome since on palace then put multi-crops. This one is multicomb, they put multichromes in three different palettes, and i think that that is so fun and i i honestly thought that 2020 was going to be that year, but it could have been due to we are still in the pandemic. The world is still a bit a little bit upside down. Maybe brands don't want to take chances or like invest a lot of money into new formulas, but i honestly think that multichromes is gon na, be the new press glitter, and i mean that in the most caring loving way ever. I think that it seems, like brands have practical. How can you get these kind of formulas into a palette without breaking the bank? It seems like at least some brands like like, for example, this one. This wasn't really that much more expensive, if even more expensive than their palace, that doesn't have a multi-chrome in it and that's the thing you can just put one multicum in the palette and it's fine like it doesn't have to be a full powered. Multi curls, and i really think that 2022 is going to be a year when we see more brands dabble with multi-chromes, and i still think that we are going to see brands that try to do the full palettes of multi-chromes or full palettes. You know it's really expensive one i mean then some eye ricks did it on sephora it did sell out but like how many more palettes like that can we have until people are like i'm not paying 150 for a palette full of special shades? I think that it's smarter, the way that pat mcgrath has done it just put one shade in a palette, make it a special thing, and - and i do think that we're going to see more of that in 202. I would actually be super surprised if we did not see more of that in 2022. I i wrote, are we done with disney question mark? Are we are we done with disney here's? The thing 2020 and 2021 has truly been the year of collabs, and i think that collapse would like entities or franchises that wasn't known for makeup, aka, disney or hot sauce or rock bands, or whatever we're doing collabs with. I think that that had such a success in 2020, which made all brands ears perk up for 2021 and everyone was releasing it. Everyone was releasing it and i don't think that it's sold as good as they were hoping because i feel like the there was the surprise element, the surprise element of the child palette. The surprise element of candyland palette that surprise element is gone now. Nobody, nobody bats. An eye at any kind of collab any kind of collab. Nothing surprised me anymore. Makeup revolution is doing a collab with charlie chaplin. I'M not surprised hip thought is moving on from hot sauce and now they're doing a collab with bertsies. I'M i'm not surprised. Colourpop is doing a collab with a wallpaper company again, not surprised. I get. I bet i'm even giving these brands ideas at this point and that's the reason why i think that i don't think that brands are planning as many or they might be, because sometimes you know, contracts are written and stuff are being planned. Stuff, that's being released now in the beginning of 2022, has most of the time been in the works for more than a year more than a year for most brands, so things that you're seeing released now, you might think like. Why are they still doing collabs with disney? Why are they still doing collabs with this? Why they're still doing this? It'S because they're not keeping up with the trends they're, not that fast. So i do think we're still going to be able to see a lot of really strange, weird and unexpected collabs. But i do think that 2021 is going to be the year where it trickles out a little bit, because it was crazy in 2021 and it also wasn't selling out the way it did. In 2020., i've seen a lot of these collabs on sale. I'Ve seen a lot of these collabs on sale, so yeah, i don't um yeah. I don't know because there was a lot of really unexpected collab. I wrote makeup revolution, matrix bobby brown monopoly colourpop and basketball teams. Like i don't i don't know, there's a lot of brands also that right now are only known for collabs like makeup revolution at this point is like a collab brand they're only doing collabs. That'S the only releases that they do that people are like talking about and hip thought like. When did they release something that wasn't a collab like? I don't even know what that would have been so yeah. It just surprised me a little bit. I also wrote mlm time question mark. I don't know if you saw the video that i did about l'occitane, starting to open up a branch with direct selling, still not 100 sure how they are sorting this if they are still doing the funnel shaped opportunity thing or if they are doing it more. As a direct selling thing, but when you sign up, it does say who's your sponsor, so that is a big red flag and i'm wondering like is this going to be the route for other companies as well? That are looking because mlms have been doing. Unfortunately, really good during the um panoramic, maybe they've been wanting to find something that could be an extra income. Maybe they lost their job, maybe they have to work from home and it's so easy to get sucked into things like this, especially if you're stressed and you need to find another income. So unfortunately, mlms have been doing really good during this pomegranate and it's just honestly a bit saddening. Because in my humble opinion the customers of mlms are the consultants, and i think that there are brands like l'occitane that looked at this and they're like. Maybe this is how we can make more money, because apparently, due to some comments that i got on this channel, it hasn't been a secret that locks in and has not been doing, that fantastic in the states. And maybe there are more brands like that. That are like how are we going to stay afloat, and maybe they also will look into this geometrically shaped business model and think that that is something for them. That is going to be something to keep an eye open for, and i feel like. We need to keep ourselves informed and we also need to keep brands accountable to call them out if anyone else is trying something like this, because personally, when brands move into that territory, they are no longer for me at least that's how i feel next thing that I had as a trend that i think is going to be something that we are going to see more of that we have seen a lot of in 2020, but also in 2021. His brands are releasing things that they have never done before and i'm not saying a brand coming out mascara for the first time i'm saying coming out with a totally different branch of things: colourpop released their first scented candle this year and they just as i'm filming This just announced that the scented candle is now available to buy like separately, because before you can only buy it as um together in the set for the hocus pocus collection of 2021. The candle is amazing. It'S so good. I'Ve already burned through mine. I got center spr, it is incredible, very high quality candle. It really did fill this room and the room outside with a scent even hours after i like blew it out, i've already gone through it. It is really really good. I could definitely see myself buying more candles from colourpop and i can definitely see them coming into doing that as well. Makeup revolution also started doing candles, although a lot of people were um confronting them saying that their candles look suspiciously. A lot like jackie aina's forever mood, which is a company that i'm very much looking forward to be purchasing from once. I'M on the other side of the pond. Also colourpop's sister brand soul body started doing bad things like bath bombs and like like melt bars for the bath, and i also think that those have been popular enough that they might start doing even more things like bath care things. I also wrote that bondi sands, which is a self tanning company, just recently released a full line of skincare, totally different, also juvia's skin totally different, even on a different website too. Faced has released both skin care and they're, also releasing a perfume, they've sneak-peaked, the perfume, and i also wrote fenty skin and perfume as well. So there's been a lot of brands that have released and if you can think of any other, please let me know down below this was just me brainstorming as i was writing this. If you can think of any other, let me know, and i don't think that this is the end of it. I think a lot of brands are going to come up with a skincare range. I know those of colors did that as well, and i think a lot of brands are probably going to venture out and try other things candles bath products, perfumes, maybe even accessories. I know color puffs down some accessories as well. I yeah it would not surprise me at all to be honest to see brands do more things like this. I could even see like uh, for example, like laura lee, had laura lee sandus, and then she released nudie patootie, which is her like fashion boutique. I can also see influencers doing that, like they have like their thing that they was known for, but then they have something else. A passion that they're releasing a brand within yaki aina like immediately went into candles, but i would not be surprised if other brands have like projects like this, that they will release something that's totally different from what they are known for. So i would not be surprised if 2022, we saw even more brands release things that are a totally different kind of product and maybe not necessarily something that they were known for before. Let me know what do you think we're going to see in 2022? Let me know your thoughts, let me know your feelings, let me know your predictions. Do you think i'm going to be right? Do you think i'm going to be wrong? I would love to hear about it and of course i will come back at the end of next year, which is crazy, but i will come back and i'll. Let you know whether or not i was correct or not, and if you see any of these things happening throughout the year, please do tag me so that i can have a peek at them. I love seeing some of my predictions come to life and i also love seeing that. Sometimes i'm incredibly wrong and just something totally different happens and i'm like did not see that coming. But that's the fun thing about trends, because things can always change and all of a sudden, a celebrity becomes incredibly like famous and they're doing something special with their makeup and then all of a sudden everybody wants to do that. That has happened before so yeah. It'S always so interesting to see what trends are taking us, because we can be thinking that we're going in one direction and all of a sudden something happens and we're like. Yes, thank you so much for watching, don't forget to subscribe and i'll see you again tomorrow for a new video because, like i said trying to upload every day until christmas, bye, you

villapulla: Not a proper prediction but maybe I can manifest it by wishing lol. I would love to see more brands make mini versions of their palettes like sigil inspired has done. A lot of us never pan shadows and getting the same quality+colourstory with smaller size+cheaper is great.

SylYasha: My mom’s brows never grew back after the 90s thin brow trends, so I’ll always skip thin brows

Κωνσταντινα K.: I always wondered, why brows can't just be natural. Not too thin, not too thick...just nicely shaped to compliment our eye shape! As @villapulla mentioned, I would love to see mini versions and not only in eyeshadow palettes, but also in highlighters or blushes. I never hit pan in any of those!

Planner Girl Hoarder: Loccitane: "How can we stay afloat in the States during the pandemic?" Customers: "Lower your prices so your margin isn't 500% above recommended msrp?" Loccitane: "Nah, let's just take advantage of the poor and unemployed."

maria airheart: Honestly the only trend I embrace now is duo/multichromes. I feel like even in my smaller collection (20 palettes and under 10 products in every other face cathegory) I have everything one person ever need.

Vanessa Kennedy: I really would love if multi chromes blew up! I am still recovering from the thin brow trend of the early 2000's lol not a trend I will ever participate in ever again, my brows never fully came back after that & on the contrary I am looking into getting micro blading/shading in 2022 lol love you Angieeee!

Silverwitch: To be honest I’d be happy if the bushy brushed upwards brow would disappear. Too many looks where I just thought “brow!” instead of “wow!” And no, definitely not plucking my brows to make them thin. Didn’t do it in the 90s, won’t do it now. The risk that they won’t grow back is too high. At 55, I’ve seen too many women thoroughly regret now what they did to their brows at younger age.

Warchief Peebs: I think you're right on most accounts, but mostly on a financial/instability to 2022. - Smaller collections (lower risk) - Closing business (I don't think it will stop, a lot of people are not ready for instability (again) and will "take their money and run") - I think neutrals will be the huge sellers (Again, lower risk, higher payoff) - I'm wondering about multichromes, I think it's going to be about price/reward. We may see 1, 2 but I can't see "full innovation". 2 years of poorer sales and 2022 opening with a new change to the "panini", companies won't be putting too much on the line. On a money standpoint, I think 2022 will the year to "regain" lost revenue, and will be a big year for makeup, but not risk stuff. I'm thinking base makeup will be shaken up.

CreatingwithKarthi: I want to see 2022 version of frosty eyeshadows, dark lip liner and all the funky hairstyles

Kittie Woodheath: I'd like to see more brands embrace olive toned base products. It's so difficult to find foundation that isn't jaundice yellow, or bronzer that's not red or orange. I think this will also benefit people with deeper skin tones, too. Olive Isn't exclusive to fair to medium.

Dani C: Personally, I think the worst trend of 2021 was y2k because not a single brand influenced by this theme incorporated it in a way that was inspiring. Every brand that tried basically replicated that feeling but couldn’t elevate the tackiness in a contemporary way. This is my opinion so honestly I expect to be disagreed with, but I will say that I have noticed more clothing and makeup influenced by 90’s trends (oversized jeans, graphic tees, cool tones, glam makeup) and I think it’s been more successful than y2k-inspired launches. Personally hoping to see more 2000’s inspired launches because I have a sweet spot for the mid 2000’s but it was not popular compared to the 90’s and 80’s regarding culture and trends.

CarmiMl0v3: i wouldn’t be surprised if i saw urban decay slow down a bit. they’re releases have not been having the impact they thought it would.

kwi: I did the thin brow back in the early 2000s and realized it wasn't for me. I'm older and for me, full brows look a lot more youthful.

Amanda Baule: I'm here for companies diversifying into areas that make sense and expand what they offer to their customer. I think candles for Colourpop are amazing. Maybe they'll slow their roll on all the eyeshadow palettes. I also think they could branch out more with Sol Body like they've started to... not just bath bombs and bath melts but also more body lotions and body butters and body sprays. I honestly think they could position themselves as a more affordable competitor of Bath and Body Works. I also think we're going to see more brands and more influencers and more celebrities branch out into the fragrance world and surprisingly, hair accessories. It honestly makes sense in a world where often, its your scent and your hair style that people are remembering, not your makeup or your smile. Its also a lot easier to collect perfumes that can stay good for a decade or more if well taken care of. I think we're going to keep seeing more scrunchies and barrettes and clip in hair accessories and the list goes on. I honestly am surprised Lime Crime hasn't focused more on their hair color stuff. SO MANY people are experimenting with hair color and have been for 2 years now... people who wouldn't have before because they aren't having to go into an office anymore or who may have but stuck with their makeup but thanks to masks... playing with hair colors and hair styles is more fun.

Asmita sahi: In love with this eye look So beautiful!!! ✨ I'm excited to see how many of these predictions will come true next year

BeautybyAnneChris: I looove these videos! I totally agree that brands are branching, I think fragrance will get bigger as well

TipTheScales27: I think the skincare trend is still going to go strong. I don’t trust makeup brands coming out with skincare, but they can keep trying I guess

Kai: I absolutely loved Y2k as a trend cause it brought me back to the years of my childhood and I’m not ready to let it go I never follow trends in general so I was surprised to be so much into it but I guess it was more for the nostalgia and memories. Also another brand that is closing down is Marc Jacobs Beauty, I found out just because I was looking to buy the bronzer and couldn’t find it anywhere..

Kelly Gooch: Yessss for thin brows! I also think we will see that soon! It fits in with the Y2K trend

Michelle Henry: Hi Angie I love when you do these video I've all of them thus far and I think you are always right so that you for this fun video I really enjoy watching.

Naomi Lasby: I'm wondering if I will try/enjoy the thin brow trend, bc I DO like trends to a certain extent, but fluffy full brows absolutely still give me life and I can't imagine not rocking them on the daily. I kinda think not lol.

JuliaMiaa: Hopefully we will see more cooltoned multichromes. Haven't seen so many this year. And more Multichromes available in Europe would be nice!

RL Maverick: Definitely not doing thin brows, I’ve heard of too many people where they don’t grow back. That, and I generally like my brows as they are, with an occasional trim for shaping.

Milliecutie10 : I’d love to see foundation’s/perfumes etc being sold in smaller sizes to try before you purchase full size!!!

Sophie: I hope we finally see a unionized makeup company, and more focus on sustainable packaging and products.

Viktoria B.: I see many beauty youtubers talking more and more about candles and perfumes lately, so my small prediction is that aroma-stuff will peak in 2022 and then will start declining

Pamela H: I can't believe the brands that are closing down. It really did surprise me. I'm over collabs to be honest.

Kris10: I despise the eyebrow trend of 2021 (the fluffy filled in like eyebrows) but just on myself. On others I dont mind..to each their own. I really hope the thin eyebrows come back just not pencil thin like in the early 90's/early 00's like you said lol. Can't wait to see what all of your predictions turn into for 2022!

Dawn Shrewsbury: This was a great video! I also enjoyed it more when companies released smaller collections.

Jenny K: I was just thinking last night- imagine if Coloupop figures out a way to do affordable, good quality multichromes I would bet money they're working on it.

Anne Garber: I find trends really interesting but I am also so glad I'm of an age where I don't feel pressured to adopt them.

Brenda Torres: I would love to see some more multichromes in palettes hoping for it

G H: I'm always jealous of your technique with your fluffy brows!! I have naturally thick brows but they grow downwards (I'm half east asian) so I can never get them to fluff up >:| I did like the shaved off ends to redraw them higher 2020 look but it was really high maintenance lol

Jacqueline Albin: I think, instead of trying for all-multichrome palettes like UD attempted with Cyber, we'll definitely be getting more things like PMG or the ND Triochrome. Or at least I hope! I also think more indie brands will be making it big. Maybe somebody like Glamlite will get into Ulta? I can definitely see it.

Amanda Wright: Yes please give us multichromes instead of pressed glitters

Suzan Robertson: One thing I didn’t see coming was Angie moving to Texas!!! Have a fantastic move!!!

MK Hogan: Yes!! I never left thin brows since I plucked them to death in the 90’s. They look way better on my face anyway and I’ve been happy to see people back off a little from the giant brows. They just don’t flatter every face type. Just because something is a trend does not mean it looks good on everyone.

Maria Carrigan: I love these videos so much! I can’t wait to see what you predict!

Asha M: Great predictions! Branching out to offer more new/different products to existing customers is the next step when no one wants/needs another lip gloss or eye palette.

Taylor Brophy: Along the lines of brands branching out to different product categories, when I was on rephr’s website, they had a link to a survey asking basic questions about skinca preferences… I am curious to see if they launch makeup or skincare next, I’d imagine they would aspire to be like Tatcha but send a ton more PR than Tatcha.

Simone Clarke: Very good predictions! At the end of the year go back and see what actually happened. Love all your videos

Claudia Fernández-Colado: OMG! Such an incredible eye makeup!!!! About the thin brows: I already fall on that hell's circle, my brows' problems can swear and never again, I'm going to be old-fashioned and I am totally ready to embrace my old-fashionism.

kyeoptawerk93: A thing I'd love to see, brands doing less and smaller releases (and them stop creating "sister brands" and celebs/influencers stop creating brands as well). I hate the production without abandon that's been happening still when it is wide and common knowledge that our planet is literally burning and flooding at the same time. I should not have to have tornado watches and warnings in December in the upper midwest u.s. I love buying makeup but no one needs brands releasing palettes ever 2 days or a celeb entering the makeup market with a brand that looks nearly identical except for packaging of another brand. They aren't bringing anything new or innovative to the space, they're just making unnecessary waste

Kelly Hills: Oh, I think you underestimate the prevalence of Disney adults. Disney is 100% going to continue these adult collabs across all their properties. Generally the sportsball properties sell extremely well, too. (For example, Sharpie — yes, the marker — company is getting into temporary skin marker/tattoos in sportsball colors.) I think the lack of sales this year was just a reflection of the global situation, not the lack of fandom interest.

Bea Hafner: I think 2021 was a good lesson for many brands like urban decay, catrice and essence but also BH cosmetics and the little indie brands. The big ones need to overthink because the market changes. People are not interested in expensive palettes that don't work out, or colors that look different in the pan than on the eye. I am happy to see the first real pop of color at too Faced palettes and hope there is more to come. I hope for good quality releases. Not so big that you can't afford buying them. But if it comes to thin brows then I am definitely out they need sooooo long to grow . I also wish a trend for those special colour stories like nomads haunted Europe palette or unearthly palettes. I think we have seen enough neutrals or pinks and it is time to overthink the game. I see brands sleeping on their *we do like always* situation will struggle in 2022.

Pamela Hewlett: I don't think my brows would grow back so I think I'll stick with my natural brows not every trend is for every person and I'm all for wearing what you feel will look good on yourself

PaceYourselfFitness: I can't stop looking at your eyessss going to do a similar look when I get the In The Dark collection tomorrow the look that the owner wore on her channel was For 2022, I am hoping to get a curated multichrome collection. And I agree with others about mini versions of products!!! That would be awesome!

Lisa Helling: I will scream if more companies move to mlms - they are so predatory and unethical!

Outofmyvulcanmind: I noticed brands really scaled down on their product lines. For example: Milk got rid of the Flex highlighters, only has like one left.

Jill Podurgiel: My brows haven't grown back since Y2K (same age as Angie) and I'm happy about it. Big fluffy brows don't suit my face and faking it seems so time consuming.

Bridenbrad: Speaking of collabs with random brands and IP’s, unless it’s already happened and I just don’t know about it you know what I’m fully expecting to happen at some point? A makeup collab with Starbucks, I mean with how ridiculously popular Starbucks is at least here in the USA, how has that not already been done by now? The first company to jump on that is going to make BANK.

Michelle J: No. More. Disney. I'm also just rolling my eyes that people are losing their minds over the Pat McGrath - Bridgerton thing.

Karen Obrodovich: A trend that may happen is a focus more on blush than bronzer. Bronzer application has gone overboard and so I am hoping bronzer will move to more subtle or disappear altogether

Sudeshna Hazra: I think 2020 -21 was like a burst for eyeshadow collections.. i mean even b4 we had eyeshadows but now brands r like heads diving into the quality the stay put sort n the drugstore brands can easily compete n win .... also i think brands will be coming out with multichromes more atleast i m waiting for bh to release something .....

dharmabhumm: I naturally have thick dark eyebrows, with bald spots from early 00s (light skin/dark hair hispanic). TIP if you want a thinner brow look try this first: start with trimming the brow hairs with little scissors, and use concealer around the edges to clean up the root line. And if you MUST go further, try shaving with those little face hair razors.

Bekky Holmes: I feel you on the Disney…once we’ve had a good Merida collection. Then it can go away for a good while!

Staci Lea Beauty: These videos are always so fun to listen to.

沈茵: Interesting predictions Angie…! The unexpected makeup collabs was really a surprise this year , like colour pop x NBA, Elf x chipotle, Bh x Iggy and Dojacat. Can you imagine if we saw more computer games collab next year?? Imagine if colourpop did a Pokemon collab….

Jen Gerard: I love your predictions !

0ctoPop: I think Urban Decay is on it's way out. Maybe not next year, but soon. I bet they'll do more of a transition into new branding and a new style rather than simply closing up shop. I'm hoping for thin brows again because I shave off the tails of my brows and have to draw them back in, which makes it hard to do fluffy looking brows. It does work to create more real estate for shadows on my hooded eyes, and generally lifts my face as well.

Fiona F: I remember in 2021, someone mentioned on the Chinese platform that L'OCCITANE US is not doing so well (as many businesses during covid), but at the same time, what is the relationship between L'OCCITANE France and l'occitane US? If the French HQ is not doing pyramid, maybe it should be pointed out as well? I love your bluntness, i am also a fan of l'occitane body care, at the same time, I don't like pyramid business mode. So pls make it clearer, thank you.

airiness ai rhino: yeah.. i totally agree on Brands venturing out to other segments / ranges (candles, sunscreen, etc)

Renee Allred: Haha I love how you described the MLMs. You are hilarious

Karolyn Anderson: One of my favorite videos of the year!

Piera Apparente: I am hoping, but i Also think that’s probable, that make-up prices are going a little bit down, because the Times when people used to collect make-up and had to have everything are over. Everyone is complaining about prices going crazy, and i think that companies are going at least to stop the increase

Dawn etc.: Happy New Year Angelica ♥️ . Welcome to the United States. So Charlotte Tilbury has a well know Fragrance. I've never tried it, but while watching a beauty video of hers, she recommended we top of off our Charlotte look with her fragrance. . Laura Mercier had fragrances also. I was broken hearted when Becca was at first bought by Estee Lauder, then put out off business, then their formulas moved to Smashbox. That was really odd to me. Take care and keep up the great work ✨♥️

Lynnette V: "Funnel shaped opportunity" is such a good way to say that hahaha

Cami King: Not the birdseed and wallpaper collabs I’m dead over here! Angie with the quality comedic content

cal: I think thin brows are cute and suit a lot of people, but tbh I'm just too scared to overpluck my brows at the risk of them not growing back

Iris L: I don't mind trends. I follow the ones that suit my tastes only. I cannot go along with a trend that may change a feature of my face permanently. I didn't follow the thin eyebrow trend in its previous iteration (I'm so glad I didn't) and I'm not going to follow it now.

Sharon Kelly: Dezi with the sunglasses and skin care and BIRKENSTOCK bow has a skincare line-never saw that one coming

Jennifer Neil: My prediction for you: now that you're in the States, you are going to be offered a LOT more PR packages. A plethora, if you will.

Evelina Shteynberg: Hi darling. You look stunning (rocking the blue look) . Prediction for fashion I agree 100%. But fashion always comes in circle. In it's core it never changes (it's always comes back) with a take on new "generation ". Thank you for your videos and honest reviews ❤❤❤. Good luck on your move. And at least for a while my debit card won't escape my wallet for buying your recommendations in beauty space . By the way, love most of your holy grails (except colorful Eyeshadows)

Kiyoncé Kartier: LOVE the bleu look!

Susana Gomez: Fashion is good if it doesn't interfere with your look forever. So, thin eyebrows? If you're 15 to 25 maybe ok for 1 year, 18 months If you're older be prepared to most probably loose your eyebrow thickness for ever. So as a 58 years old that has been watching thin to thick to thin eyebrows once and again...please try not to follow that fashion but in a light way, so when you will grow older you will still have eyebrows (with age you're going to have less and less hair everywhere). It took me a lot of time to get my brows more or less back after the last thin eyebrows trend, so that's my experience for the youngest. No worries, thickest will come back in another 3-5 years and you would love to have any eyebrows at all. For colabs...I'm done. I don't mind what they will do anymore, don't want anymore colabs if it's not about a makeup artist. After the Crocs and NBA... totally done. My trend is to only trust for quality. So for me they could avoid paying to those Companies for the colabs and use the money to make amazing high quality makeup. Dreaming? Yes. But it's on us to make it true.

Tammy Eaton: I’ve got RELEASE FATIGUE, ESPECIALLY from Colourpop, even though I don’t buy a lot from them. It’s just a LOT.

Kimberly Welch: I love all trends, except brows. To actually pluck or zap out hair for a trend, then to have to draw hair on, isn't logical to me.

GillianCrafts: Does Colourpop/Sol do haircare? I'm calling that for 2022!

Darky's Makeup & Science: The blue of your eyeshadow is amaaaaaaazing

kaszmeir rawls: I love thin brows , mostly because my natural brow grow like Spock , so I opt for Pamela Anderson brows

Beth Richardson: Most commercial collabs do nothing for me. Art inspired could be interesting. Consider Van Gogh Sunflowers or Stary Night. How about the deep neutrals of a Rembrandt? Then there is Vermeer' Girl With A Pearl Earring and oh, so many more.

Emma Thea: I’m actually into a Charlie Chaplin collab he had some really cool makeup lol

RKay_17: I was going to say I don't think collabs are over, but I was surprised Sigmas Cinderella collection didn't sell out immediately. It doesn't seem to have at all. I am hoping to see more from Sigma and Disney though. Ariel and Jasmine I think could be really fun. Going for male leads could be good too though. More inclusivity for me. Aladin or Genie. Hercules. Not much more comes to mind honestly but it would be a way to shake things up between cosmetics and Disney.

CCL: Oh good. My eyebrows are already on trend. I have to draw them on with pencil and fill them in with pomade they’re so thin. I also let a friend wax them in college and she got the wax too hot so i have a couple of lovely bald spots that show really obviously when I try to brush them up. Ladies. Trust me. Don’t do it. Just say no to thin brows. You will be sorry

Nicole Wojaczyk: Yesssssssssss I’m all about the thin brows!!!! I feel it makes I look younger. And not like you have the rugrats grandpa’s Caterpillar brows lol. Never was into the bush brow!

melissa janik: Disney collabs could keep coming as long as they're all Snow White related lol

Brittany Ward: *Pat McGrath bronzers this summer *I think colourpop will change the format of their eyeshadow palettes. Maybe keep the roaring 20's format. I think they will come out with nail polish. * I think pastels will be trendy.

Sheryl Fenner: Makeup Revolution totally copied Jackie Aina's homework. I'm gonna buy from her after Christmas.

Stacy Marie: It'll be interesting to see which of these come true and watch you video at the end of the year going on which ones came to

Laura Hall: I refuse to do the 90’s thin brow.

Maia Gaia: I REALLY dislike Y2K fashion coming back. I think it's mostly because I'm a mid-90s baby, so I was getting into fashion just in time to have Y2K become really unfashionable, so I'm still not interested in that aesthetic. That and I'm curvy, so none of it looks good on me anyway lol

Nastaria Todd: Multichromes is the best way for 2022 is lit for my eye makeup!

Danielssister: I think we’re going to see thin brows and natural makeup.

Filia: Nooo i hope you are wrong with the first one. I don't want my naturally thick brows to be considered ugly again. Everyone around me thinks i had microblading and praises them. Don't want to experience that hell again.

Danica: Ohh, I just love your P word substitutes :D You're amazing!

Buff buff: No to thin eyebrows…I have normal in-between brows…been the same since I was a teen. I fill them in a bit but hey, not the thick fluffy brows either. Glad I am too old to follow trends, haha!!

Being Biogirl: you look so adorable!!! i need to get your hoodie. i’ve wanted it since you first released it. i reallllly hope the thin brows don’t come back because i definitely won’t be “trendy” when it comes to that. i can’t stand low rise jeans, but don’t get me wrong, i’d rock them if i actually had the body for them. i’m not opposed to rhinestones either. i appreciate smaller collections and i hope that this trend continues. i’m dyinggg to try some multichromes but they’re just too expensive for me to afford. i don’t think we’re not done with collabs whatsoever. they’re going to keep beating a dead horse the most they possibly can. i can’t stand MLM’s and they need to be stopped ASAP!!! i actually bought the candle from colourpop for my mom for christmas and i hope that they continue to make candles because it smells divine.

Hannah Schriever: I’m too lazy to try brows but i want to try the Elf Brow lift lol just to start off

Lanae's world: Man dynessa also didn't have many palettes to sell. I feel like that's why it sold out.

Milliecutie10 : I’ve always had nice natural shaped brows…..my mum always told me not to pluck/ over pluck……so apart from the odd stray one the only thing I have to do to my brows now is put the tiniest bit of Anastasia dipbrow gel through them cause there are a few grey hairs….I’m 48…nearly 49!! I ALWAYS jump through brow bits on reviews/GRWM/hails etc…..never been something I’ve had to work about!!! …….everything else needs work…..but the brows are fine…..
