Bill Vlogs About His Thinning, Balding Hair & His Cut & Color/ Style, Men Over 50

Okay, everyone Heather here and today it's all about Bill, my husband.. He is going to be going to the hairdresser's today anyway, so he's going to get a light color today and also a cut ... and here's Bill having one of his moments ``. It'S not a moment, it's not it's a lifetime'' ``, it's called hair and it's important to guys''. I'M about to go get my haircut. It'S driving me freakin crazy, because what happens is like I've got thin. I'Ve got thin hair, whatever, whatever my hair gets long, it gets very thin and it gets very like it's just. I can't do anything with it. I just can't do anything with it like it's all over the place. A little bit of breeze comes, I'm like I just look horrible. So, but almost 20 years ago now I went, and I had a hair transplant done now, you're, probably saying well geez. It doesn't look like it because you're complaining about it, but back here I left that little natural, I don't know you - can see that up yeah. So then that's all natural up there, what they did this is many years ago ``. I have to see something I didn't make you get that hair. You want to do it all by yourself'' Right right, don't you mean okay cuz? She figured she figured. She said to herself 20 years from now. What is this guy gon na? Look like she had a nightmare: okay, So anyways. What I did is I went to one of the leading guys in the world yeah to get it done, yeah and what they did a blindfolded. No, what they did is they wanted to keep the natural hairline. Okay. So I don't look, hmm keep the natural hairline, but just do a little bit of a fill-in here and here's the beauty thing. It'S all my hair. It came from back here. I don't even see it came from all back here and this stuff never falls out right. This stuff is here forever, but of course, all this does.. So what I decided to do I'd like to have a hairline a little bit of hair. Let'S do it so they did a hair transplant using that hair and they just put it up here again, keeping back here all natural. So it's now it's kind of balding, but it looks. It looks natural, that's gray, one now so, but the trouble is now in my hair gets long. It looks horrible, so what I'm gon na do I'm off to the salon and actually one of the owners there Gino is gon na personally with his team. Just believe me, they need a team to work on this. All right he's no magician like he can't do any plastic surgery, but you can do work on the hair, so anyways Gino again he's one of the owners there and he's gon na be working on my hair and again his team will be doing some of the Color, what we're gon na do is `` He's going to help you get a little more permanent, because this isn't a wash and go now and it's gone after five days after you wash your hair, every single day'' ... it's hard to get a word in edgewise. Okay, anyway, go ahead all right, so what they're gon na do is I'm not gon na come back with my hair, looking black, what I'm gon na come back is they're gon na put a permanent color and just a darker one, so you'll still see bits of Gray throughout so it still looks natural and you know they'll make me look about. You know ten to twenty days younger, no ten to twenty years younger and that's what I'm hoping for you know. So, let's see, how are they do they? You know whenever I go, they do a fabulous job. This is kind of the first time I'm getting ``. How much is this gon na cost? ?''? We don't talk about cost. We don't talk about it because you know ``, It's very. It'S gon na be about a hundred bucks'' For what To look and feel confident yeah. It sure it is, and you know what it might not be, is your hair. It might. Maybe some people want to go to the gym and get canons, but I don't know if you can see it with a camera right now, but I can barely get these shirts on right. So I just obsess about the hair so, but he's also gon na. Do a complete thing: he's gon na trim, the eyebrows he's gon na trim the sideburns. Poor Bill. He has hair no growing in places and growing to much in other places'' and Billy. Don'T forget tip them. You always tip your because now you've got a colorist, make sure you tip the colorist too. Somethings, you don't think of yeah yeah, that's definitely gon na happen. So anyways, let's see Gino and and the team can do and hopefully, like I say, yeah things. Look a little better Okay, so anyways awesome ones, let's head over with me now and we're gon na go get this done this time, so it'll be more about color, Oh for the cut its hair wash time - and you know I also get a scalp massage as Part of this hair wash and it feels pretty good. It'S also circulation, and you know, do you know, he's he's not just a hair stylist to me he's an artist he's meticulous with every cut. Bill, wanted his hair to last longer and make it look natural as well.. This is stage two now now we have Josie here and she is going to start doing the magical color. She does my hair actually, so this is going to be great. Josie. What are you going to do So we're putting in a permanent color today and we're going to apply it with the comb, so that would we get a really natural effect? Then we still see some of the existing base. Color., I mean they really take care of the Bill here.. This is why I come here for the cappucino.. As you can see, Josie's she's a bit of an artist herself, she's, very meticulous when applying the color. She puts it on the comb and she's actually combing. It through the hair strand by strand and it's actually gon na, leave some of the gray in which is what I want great job Josie. So afterwards, Bill's hair sets for about 30 minutes. So now we wait for about 30 minutes. You it looks like the hair. Is starting to darken up a bit now ... comeback! Boyish looks okay but you're still putting the dark in there right now that Josie has done it in the opposite direction. We'Re going to wait about another 15 minutes! Oh another, massage ..., mind control! Well! Here I am back in the big chair again as Gino applies, the finishing touches and dries the hair. Looking good, you know, looking good look again, maybe with cosmetic surgery I'd be set ( laughing ). It looks very natural. Let'S check all right! Well, it's time to hit home now and, as I said to Heather, I won't forget the tips one for each person that was involved., Hey awesome ones. Well, here we are again back where it all started, and hopefully I look a little bit better actually. Actually, I do from again from Gino who worked on my hair. Vince was the the other owner, Gino and Vince are the owners and Josie who did the coloring there anything looks and good ``. Also Vince is my color. Sorry Vince is my stylist yeah and Josie's. Also, my colorist'' and I keep a lot of my gray in and silver, and she just highlights it. She does a great job and I'm just gon na show you what's going on Bill's hair because well you know what you can really see. The gray is still there, but you're also seeing that he looks really quite natural. It'S a natural look when he sees his friends out for beers and wings. Tonight, they're not gon na go what you do to your hair yeah. I think it looks pretty good and you know what it makes you feel better. It'S amazing how you feel when you walk out of a place and somebody's been working on you and pampering yeah, you know so hey. You know what we hope to see you again.
