How To Color Your Hair At Home Like A Pro

I am now learning how to color my hair at home. And, to help us all through this time at home, Clairol is posting tips and tricks for home coloring.

Clairol Nice'n Easy is a permanent coloring at home solution that offers me 100% gray coverage with the rich color I crave. Some at home color can look flat, but I'm striving for tones and nuance in my hair – which is exactly what Nice ‘n Easy gives me I love that it looks natural, especially in natural light, and add dimension to the hair color.

I'M partnering with Clairol to talk about at home, coloring solutions, I've been using nice and easy and it fits in perfectly with my life. I'Ve got a busy job. I'Ve got young kids. I love to travel. A lot of this means that my schedule can change from week to week, while I do use salons on occasion for my coloring, I often find myself with grey is growing in and no time to get to a salon to cover them. Nice and easy is the perfect solution. For me, there are 52 colors to pick from in the nice and easy collection. I am a six, a light ash brown, the 52 colors range from the blondest blonds to the deepest brunettes. There'S. Definitely gon na be a shade that will flatter you. Now I'm gon na walk you through my at-home coloring process, with Claire all nice and easy first up. I'M gon na put on my gloves that comes with the nice and easy easy coloring products, and it's also good to be in a dark color or with a sweatshirt. You don't care abouts, definitely get something with a zipper fronts and have some dark tails available. Not your favorite tail! So then I'm going to take the color cream and you're going to mix it into the activator. Okay. Now that they're mixed together, I'm going to want to shake it thoroughly. So I'm going to use my finger on the top of the activator bottle and just give it some vigorous, shapes okay, so I'm applying the color to my root growth. Only and I put it into a half inch sections bit by bit and I put the color in into these and I'm using the applicator tip to create the different sections for the color okay. So now I have my half inch sections covered all over my head. I'M gon na let this sit for 20 minutes before I move on to the next step. If you have stubborn grades like I have, you can leave the product on for an extra 10 minutes, but I would test it out the first time and see if the color takes well and then maybe the next time. Your going to add those extra 10 minutes. For stubborn grains that you may want to cover, so 20 minutes have passed the colors been settling into my head. Now, I'm going to add the remaining at color all over my hair. Now at this stage it's going to sit for another five minutes. Once I have the color permeated all over my hair since I have a lot of hair, this is going to take a little bit of time to mix it all in. But this is how you get that deep, rich, beautiful color. The final step is the color seal conditioner now after you've got the product rinsed out of your hair in the shower you're, going to add this and let it sit on your hair for two minutes. This is going to give your hair that glossy shiny, healthy, look and save the rest of the conditioner you're going to use this every week to maintain your color here's the finished product. As you can see, I've got a hundred percent gray coverage. This color looks fantastic even in natural light, and I know we're all busy. We can't always get to the salon. It'S so nice to know that there's an at-home color solution to make us feel great.
