Okay, but they glow they glow. I glow hey, guys, welcome back to give your hair a kiss i'm kiss, and this is underground, cosmetics, so excited. We are going to swatch test five different colors from underground cosmetics, hair care. I'M super stoked to try these shades. If you're new, here, hey hi, hit subscribe, i'm here for you every tuesday, with my own brand of beauty, nonsense, except for this past tuesday, guys i'm so sorry. I just needed i needed a week off for some like physical and mental self-care. Now i'm back, i'm super stoked to be here. I'M so excited to talk to you guys today, because i'm so excited about this hair color line. Thank you again, uh narconia for recommending the underground cosmetics um. You did request to see. Oh, my god, this eye is watering. Already here we go it's winter um you requested to see the red. I didn't get the red um because just didn't see your comment before i ordered more color. So i'm sorry i'm doing my best, but i do have bold. Blue bold fuchsia yeah, i'm stoked on this uh overcast, bold, pink, which we checked out in the um root touch-up video two videos ago, two weeks ago, two weeks ago, um and it's still in my hair for anybody wondering um. This is two washes thus far with my hydrating co-wash by alpha part milano semidileno for curls and waves. Yes, um and i'm loving it, i'm absolutely loving it. The color is still so vibrant and i have actually been using warmer water too, because you know winter. So usually i use very cold water when i'm um shampooing conditioning my hair to maintain my color. But i went a little hotter on this one just because i've been cold and the last color i have is the full teal and this one i'm stoked on, because i got a little excited. You see there's some products missing from here. I got a little excited and i tried it on a client - and i am so stoked of the bulk seal and the overcast uh, and i have beautiful b-roll footage of that for you. But let's do this. I am so excited to swatch tess. We are using. We are using 100 human hair, pre-lightened ashy, platinum-y, goodness um, so we can get an accurate read on these colors we're just going to go ahead and paint them onto my swatch board. I have five tones and five hair swatches to work with. I wan na see them next to each other. We are going to uh, also review this awesome card. They sent. I love this. This hair is shedding. This is what happens when you cut up a weft. You get shitty hair okay, so it has its recommended. Um. Pre-Lightening levels for different tonalities for the bold teal, bold, green and bowed, yellow it uh recommends a level nine which is a pale yellow um for the bold fuchsia purple blue and the bold pink it recommends a level eight for blackout level. Six. I don't know why you would have to pre-lighten for a black tone, but okay, um, bold, orange, bold, red, bold violet, all call for level seven. Typically, when i'm working with so many permanent colors, though i would rather see a level nine level ten, regardless of the tone i'm going for um just for the sake of getting the most vibrant color. Again, though, lift carefully lift safely. If you can't get to that ten, it's okay! If you can't get to that nine, it's okay! You can go in in slow lift stages. We should do a video on that. We should probably do a video on that. We'Ll do a video on that, but this video is underground cosmetics. I'M going to stay focused we're going to open up some jars, we're going to put on some gloves, gloves: okay, great great, great, okay: let's do it, let's do it! Okay, i want to start with our darkest tone. The bold blue. It looks like a very violety face blue. So one thing that gets me with products is the perfume, and it's really the only thing i uh in the fruit touch-up video perfumes. Give me a lot of like with the pink that really threw me off was the perfume it's just not for me. Okay! So, let's get in here, we've got this great, shedding creamy color, beautiful, creamy color. Look at that yeah! This blue is kind of purpley and i like that, so let's check it on the swatch we're just gon na okay, there is our blue. She is applied, let's do the teal right next to it. That makes sense. So when i did this on my client's hair um, when i rinsed it, it was a little more of a mint green um i feel like. Maybe i could have maybe left it a little bit longer. I left it for 35 minutes on pre-lightened to level 10 hair um. I didn't cancel really any warmth, naturally occurring warmth or yellow in the lightning process in the hair. I had it kind of a neutral-ish, but it's you know spots, warmth in it. So maybe if i had cancelled some of the warmth with an ash before i applied this well, let's see how it looks on the ash tone. You know pre ash tone, hair, okay, there's our teal right next to our blue, don't get in there don't get in there. Great my eye is watering like crazy. Oh okay, let's go overcast again when i did this on my client. I did the teal right at the root and then i hit the ends because they were already pre-lightened with the overcast here's a more kind of a green based silver. I typically prefer my silvers to be on the more violet side, as opposed to the green side, but the green is great that green undertone to help cancel a little bit of warmth. You know we got our overcast, so excited bold fuchsia. If i like this swatch, this is going in my hair, maybe i'll mix it with the. I have an extra swatch, i'm going to mix these two together on a last swatch. I want to see how they mix like how the pinks mix it's very important. The perfect pink it's my oats still too much it's just too much perfume okay. Here we go okay, bold fuchsia and, lastly, bull pink. Well, not, lastly, because we're going to mix that mixy swatch, bold pink, they look kind of similar on camera, but you can see the bold fuchsia has a little bit more of a ashy drop like violet based tone, whereas the bold pink is a warmer. I mean you can see it here. It'S it's a warmer pink, so we're gon na set these aside as per manufacturers. Uh instructions 25 to 35 minutes we're going to go with 35 minutes we're going to leave it for the longest time. And while we do that, let's just see what we get tiny little amounts, so you can see how different they are next to each other 35 minutes. So we've got a little while left to go on our um swatches to process. So i'm gon na go have a cup of coffee and i'll be uh back with y'all in a moment all right, i rinsed them out. I set them up, i'm so excited guys the swatches now, okay, admittedly, some of the applications a little spotty and that's on me because of the way i did it, but look at these tones just behold behold the tones we have our beautiful, bold blue. She is like bam. That is what you think when you think blue it's gorgeous, it is so rich. I absolutely love it. I love the way the teal came out on the um pre-toned, the uh ash blonde, as opposed to roll the b-roll footage with my client, where it came out a little mincier because of a residual pale yellow, but here on our swatch. This is bold. This is beautiful, this is yeah. This is very, very teal. Very excited, love, love. The way this overcast came out. Look at this silver. She is shiny, she is beautiful, she is happy um and once rinsed it didn't. You know it doesn't have that. I'M a green based silver look to it. Just looks like a gorgeous neutral ash, great silver, here's, our bold fuchsia - and i am obsessed, i think i think, yeah. I think this is going in my hair. Yes, the bold pink. We know we love the bald pink. She is, but you can see the subtle difference between the two deeper, more um violet based, definitely a more and i don't want to say, vibrant because they're, both very vibrant but they're, two very different pinks and both are gorgeous, but mixed together you see that fuchsia, The fuchsia definitely takes over, but i do love what a beautiful medium pink. This is, so maybe i will mix the two together and just put them on my head. I am overall pleased with our swatches. However, underground cosmetics advertises that it is uv reactive. What does that mean? Hit the lights, ready? There'S the bold pink. She is beauty. These colors are, in fact uv reactive. Even that silver takes on a gorgeous uv, glow love the way the pinks look love the way this blue looks. Oh my god guys. I am i'm haphazard today, but it is fabulous yeah. So thank you so much for joining me today, guys while we swatch tested five different colors from underground cosmetics. This was super fun. I am stoked to try more of these with my clients and with myself, and by with myself i mean we're that fuchsia i need it, i need it, i need it, maybe the silver too. What do you think? What do you think guys should we do? Should we do a two-tone? Should i do that? The next time i touch up my roots, let me know what you think down below. Should i do fuchsia with the overcast and go for like i'm kind of feeling a pinky skunk look. Maybe i don't know. Let me know down below um. Thank you so much guys.
