Hey y'all, welcome or welcome back to my youtube channel. My name is eugenia kelsey. So one of the main questions that i get when people reach out to me is: i have tried everything and my hair is still not going. So if you are one of those girlies or a boy, i just realized. I can't say boy lease, but if you are one of those people, this tips and tricks that i'm going to show you in this routine is going to help you out. So without further ado, let's just get into it, i'm starting off with a crosses moringa and fenugreek deep conditioner. If you're new here, i've shown so many ways on how to use fenugreek and moringa just check the description for a link to one of those videos, but basically you guys fenugreek is really important in your hair growth process because it contains nicotinic, acid nicotinic. Acid really helps to combat hair loss and shedding, because in the body, nasan helps takes oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles. If you also apply it ectopically, it also helps with blood circulation. You know it helps blood oxygen and iron, like all those nutrients to go to your scalp and to your hair. Follicles moringa has so many nutrients. It'S a powerhouse of nutrients. I'M just going to attach a snapshot of it right here and we're going to move on to how i use it. One of the reasons why you may not be seeing results in your hair in terms of length, health or even thickness, may be due to your takedown process. This is a six week, protective style that i did. I usually do cornrows in the front and braids in the back and to just illustrate how i take it out, i'm going to start by putting the deep conditioner at the roots of my hair. You could also do this with a pre-poo, but i prefer conditioner, because it really helps to soften the roots and that part of your hair that holds on to like lint, dirt oil, product, buildup, etc. Like you just want to go ahead and apply the deep conditioner all over to those part of the hair, and i'm just going to let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes before i start undoing it. So that that way, the roots of my hair is soft. I could go in there and get the lint and the dirt out without having to rip out the new length that i have grown. Um. One tip to notice like if you're ripping your hair out is the length of the hair um. Usually you want like a little bit of shedding so when your hair sheds it's longer, but if it's shorter like if you notice a lot of short hairs, while you're taking your hair out. That means that you're breaking it up because the hair is breaking usually shedded. Hair tends to be longer, and this is all in like relation to the length of your hair like relative to the length of your hair. If it's like long, then it's shedding. If it's short, then you, your hair, might be breaking i'm going to show you how i do this one more time. So this is the roots of my hair. Yes, very up close and personal um, since i already applied to the conditioner to the roots of my hair. It really helped soften it up, so i'm just going to go ahead and separate it where it has the lens. It has a dirt and everything that's trapped in there. It makes it easier to just go ahead and separate it and then go um after i separate the roots, i'm also going to separate the rest of my hair and then apply water to it. So it like a softness is up and then i'm going to go ahead and apply my deep conditioner to you know to deep condition it and to also provide it with strength, paying attention to the ants of my hair, the most and also the roots of my Hair, i said the ends of my hair because that's the oldest part of my hair and they tend to be the most fragile. So i tend to pay attention to those and then the roots of my hair, because obviously that's holding on to the rest of my hair. If i lose their roots, i don't have any more hair. Okay. I also wanted to add that the point in separating my hair was to get the shedded hair out now, shedding like a little bit of shedding is normal, because your hair is always in the catagen phase, and the catagen phase is like the transitional pla stage of Your hair, where you're always going to have shedding like at any point your some of your hair, is going to be in the category phase, so just expect a little bit of shedding. So a little bit of this product goes a long way, so you don't want to like do it like. If you saw me applying it, it was basically just my fingertips and just looks look how it is in my hair. It'S it has like a butter. Smoothie consistency, so you don't want to overdo it. I went ahead and did the same thing to the back of my hair and, as you can see, i'm done with the back, but i also wanted to include this clip of me. Like you know, taking down my hair like the next day, because i feel like when i come on here and i edit the video and you guys see it like it - makes it like it sends a message across that it's easy and like i could do it Really fast - and i never want to portray that image, because obviously my hair is really long and it's really thick, so it takes a lot of time. So you want to be patient. If you're looking to grow your hair out in thickness and in length, you want to be patient with your hair, you want to give it time and effort, and it's going to reward you for that. So you know like yeah here, i'm recording but usually like. I would just have netflix on like have some music and just go ahead chill and just do my hair. So i just wanted to include that part and let you guys know that i don't do this in one sitting like i don't do this in one sitting. After this, the next day i just come and i'm gon na do the front part of my hair. I'M gon na have y'all watch because i feel, like i've, been talking for a really long time. So watch the front part of my hair and we will come back so a little side. Note if it looks like i'm struggling more with the front part of my hair compared to the back. That'S because i am this is because cornrows take more attention because um it traps more dirt, more lint, um, more products build up and it's harder to undo compared to like twists or braids. So the protective style that you choose to do in your hair is also a factor in how you're growing your hair. So whatever style you choose, make sure that you're able to provide that attention that it required and also depending on your scalp sensitivity. I i also find that the longer i keep my protective style in the more length i get to retain. So i mean, if you're, that person that can't go a week without washing your hair, then do that. But if you're like me, who could go six weeks, you know having your protective style in then i recommend doing that, because that really helps too and with every rule they're like they're, extremes or like extremities. So, just because um i said the longer you keep it in the better like it helps don't go like doing like two months like three months without like washing your hair, because you need to deep condition your hair, like you need to stick to that routine. So the most i have done is six weeks, which is like a month and a half, and i take it out, but you know i recommend doing a deep conditioning at least once a month so do i know i've recommended a lot of times that people wash Their hair and like twist or like chunky, twists and i've gotten a lot of comments in from people saying that um they don't really know how to do that and they or like they do it and they feel like their hair, is not as clean. Their scalp is not as clean, so i'm going to show y'all how to do it here before we move to my shower, because once i'm recording, i can't have my shower curtains out and then all my floors get really soaked with water. So i want to show y'all how to do it here and then we're gon na go in the shower, and i'm gon na show y'all real quick, because then i'm gon na turn it off, because i did not want water on my floors. Okay, okay! So right here, i'm just gon na grab my hair and then slide my fingertips on my scalp, because your scalp is like your skin. You know so i'm just gon na go there and i'm gon na massage that trying to get the products build up the dirt and everything off. Obviously, i'm gon na add shampoo when i get to the shower, but just illustrating how i'm gon na do it. When i get there okay, so let's move on into my shower, which i'm not gon na, keep you all there for long okay. So here we are in my shower and i'm just gon na go ahead and take that net i mean not a net. It'S a plastic wrap, but i'm gon na take it off section my hair into four sections. It'S already four sections, but you know just tie in it. So it's all! It'S not. You know all up in each other's way and i'm just going to grab that one section push and pull on there onto my scalp into the roots of my hair and then i'm going to start with my fingertips. Just massaging it in um trying to get the products build up the dirt off my scalp, then i will let the water just rain on my scalp to the tips of my hair. So you know the shampoo is just gon na run from my scalp to the tips of my hair and that's how i get it clean. I get it. I get my scalp very clean. I get the roots of my hair very clean and my the rest of my hair shaft is also very clean, and that is it. Let'S go back to my living room where i was recording this okay, so that's my hair, all shampooed up and i'm going to go ahead with my crosses moisturizing leave-in and my aloe vera oil to moisturize and seal my hair. But i didn't want this video to be too long, so i'm just gon na go ahead and make that into a part, two so see y'all next week for a part, two of this video, if you are looking for products that works for your hair type, don't Go no further. Yours truly really has you. I have um these products that i make by hand by myself on my website available for purchase. We have a moringa, deep conditioner that i used in this video. Okay, bye, pharrell, this time, bye, y'all, you

Eugenia Kelcy: “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?—-Romans 8:31-32

RockyStClaire: As someone who has been following her videos and making her hair care recipes, I have seen such substantial growth in just 4-5 months thank you! This woman is dropping gems yall ❤

A Talk with TEE: Omg your hair is freaking amazing!!! But why hasn’t someone discovered you??? This face needs to be on the cover of every magazine!!!

Pundi Paradox: I'm an older woman with thinning hair that easily breaks. Hormones are all over the place. I learned that healthy hair has a lot to do with whats inside the body just as much as what's on the the scalp. Wish I had discovered your routine earlier. Your hair is beautiful.

Lillian: I literally stopped doing box braids because I was tired of taking out my braids and also practically ripping out hair. With each braid there was a chunk of hair that was ripping out. So now I'm just doing corn rows on my hair which makes it super easy to access for moisturizing and oiling. I dont ever wear the corn rows out, so I can access my scalp without worrying about messing up anything. I literally have been doing a very simple moisture treatment using LOC. I use either aussie moist leave in or water, then olive and castor oil. For the cream, I dont like putting creams on my hair bc it always makes it dry. Plus i rarely need to style anyway. And then i keep adding water to it throughout the day. I will def try this method!

Neuza Vaz: For me what was keeping me from retaining length was the detangling phase. I was so rough with my hair. Now I keep my hair stretched (blow dry then twist it). I have less knots and tangles and I wash my hair every 2 to 3 weeks.

Ramona: I've purchased all of her products and they work wonderfully! I can see significant changes in my hairs moisture. I'm retaining my hair and it's growing. My hair doesn't want anything else. I will continue to support!

IAMKD: Girl, I’m thinking about giving up, then shave my head, then launch a rebellion against “The dictatorship of healthy long luscious hair” that puts us women, under so much pressure

Anel T: Thanks Eugenia. Couple of questions: 1) How do you moisturise your hair whilst they are in protective style? I'm asking as 6weeks also works for me in terms of additional length, but I notice my hair are in poor state (breakage). 2) When you go 6 weeks protective styling, do you wash/deep condition? I'm asking as you recommended deep conditioning at least once a month, but it sounds like you also suggest 6weeks protective styling without washing hair. 3) How do you dry your hair after washing in twists? Do your hair dry in twists? If so do they tangle? 4) Do you re detangle your hair after shampooing? 5) In this video, you moisturise your hair after shampooing. Aren't we meant to you apply a conditioner or deep conditioner after shampooing? 6) Do you ever co wash? If so, how does it fit in the routine you presented above? 7) In this video, which shampoo do you use? Sorry if you mentioned but didn't capture. Thanks for sharing your insights!!

Shelby Smith: She’s right. My hairgrowth was stunted because I couldn’t retain length due to my ends not having moisture. Now, it’s got some length because I am focused on moisture especially for my ends and roots. But, I usually keep my hair twisted and pinned up after I wash, condition, comb, moisturize. Wearing wigs and scarves have done wonders for my dry hair/ends. It’s thickened and I just leave it be, and only take down to moisturize. I can’t wait until my joint is to my waist.

Mimi’s Closet: I’ve been using your products! Love it so far, my hair feels so much softer!

Deedee L: Hi. Just wondering whether you could produce the leave-in conditioner in a spray bottle version???

Samantha Nouganga: I finally found what I have been doing wrong all along , I was always wondering what I was doing wrong because I’ve always been taking so much care of my hair and routine I was so frustrated why my hair would still break so much and now i finally now thank you so much for this video ❤️

Saffron🧡: Thank you for this information My hair is at my waist right now and what you said is true! Patience is key! You can’t rush your hair or the steps you take to care for it! There are some new things I learned from your video that I’m going to implement! I really appreciate the effort you took to make this! I can’t wait to see my new growth! You’re so gorgeous and your skin looks amazing!

CroatanWolf: I kept my crochet braids in for 3 months. I didn't wash it for the first 2 weeks just used braid spray and leave in conditioner. Then I would wash condition and moisturize the scalp every week. I saw a lot of growth and there was decent shedding. I kept almost 5 inches of growth after the trim. This process works, thanks for the video.

Wendy Macy: This has helped me so much. Before I'd keep like my protective style in for 3 months and I would get a lot of growth but I'd lose it all during the taking down process because I would literally rip it out. But now my hair has literally grown from shoulder length to waist length

Reggae Everyday: Wow! Your hair is SO long, and probably the tightest curl pattern too. It's insane how much length you have when you pull it straight vs what you don't see due to shrinkage. That is the longest I have ever seen, naturally, with this hair type. Gorgeous hair! If you ever decide to cut it you gotta donate to locks of love! Great video. Thanks for sharing.

Djenaba O'Connor: Hair = Gorgeous Skin = FLAWLESS

Aubrey Abel: I tried the fenugreek spray and y’all it definitely works! I struggle with hair growth in my nape area but the consistency with fenugreek has helped my hair to flourish and it only cost $1 a pack in my area

Rienna Walker: Bought your deep conditioner and leave in conditioner. I used the deep conditioner today and I must say I was not expecting that much slip. My hair loved it. I loved both products but the deep conditioner wowed me.

Jennie Janine: Thanks for the advice to wash in chunky twists. I have a decent amount of hair but I need to retain length. Probably could benefit from wearing twists for an extended amount of time.

Malkia Morgan: I love how much you focused on take down its one of things almost everyone over looks then don't know why their hair is not growing

Natasha: You are so strikingly gorgeous, your skin is flawless and your facial bone structure is chiselled af. It's not fair for the rest of us!

Angel Love: You can also take moringa and fenugreek internally and enjoy the benefits for health. It is great for hair, skin and nails. Just saying

Pastor Loni: Ordered the fenugreek conditioner, leave in and oil. I'm going to document my results! I love your teaching spirit!

A W: Yasss girl I always deep condition before take down backwards I know but it works especially if you mix a strengthening and moisturizing treatment together. Great video!!!

Carmel Larose: I just purchased every items that she posted on that list. This video looks legit so I am willing to give it a try. I am starting my hair journey now. Hopefully those products work for me. My hair is thinning out and looks very frail. I tried so many products, spent a tons of money but I refuse to give up on my crown ( hair). Here I go now, wish me luck and much success. I just subscribed by the way and of course I hit the notification bell so that I don't miss out on more awesome new videos. Wish me success y'all.

Ellie Cat: I have no idea why this video came across my recommended but I just want to say your skin and bone structure is exquisite. ❤️

Tinicia Young: How do you maintain your six-week protective Style? What products do you use? Also, what is the frequency of moisturization for you?

WLHMC ALLNATURAL: I have been using fenugreek in my spray , let me tell you, my hair thickened like crazy

DancinMusicLover: I am currently doing my hair journey so thank you for this it helps so much

Ethiopian Queen: I LOVE your stuff!!!! I’ve used your leave-in and deep conditioner. I make my own spray that’s showing amazing growth results for everyone that’s tried it, even those with Alopecia and balding men and I always suggest to use your leave in afterwards to lock in the moisture it brings! Thank you

Paula Kay Davey: You're hair is so gorgeous I personally love natural hair and I'm trying to get my hair like that someday hopefully soon but I don't have some of those ingredients where I am but it looks as if I'll have to stay with you for some time tho because girl you got it

Michelle Young: The part about shedding is so true. My god mom is a retired cosmetologist, and years ago she told me that when you shed long strands your hair is growing, and when you shed short strands, it is breakage.

Inês Cláudia: I agree with you, Ayurvedic herbs are a game changer in hair care I love adding them to my homemade hair products

j l-j: Just ordered your product! Can’t wait to use it❤️ My hair has been the same length for years!

Celina Fall: Ok but side note: you are freakingg GORGEOUSSS you glow from the inside I swearr❤️ and your hair looks so healthy too

Tanyavlogs: Can you please do a video on how you keep your hair moisturized when it’s in protective style ? Love xxx

Melanin Doll: Question.. do you detox your hair or scalp ? if so what product do you use ? I know some people apply apple cider vinegar to detox the scalp to open the pores .. is that safe or is there another way

Miss C Montinat: your videos are so informative. Thank you for teaching us!!!

SparksNLaquer: Been watching your videos for a while now, and my GOSH! Your hair is doing so well! And it’s growinggggggg!!!

Quiesha Denise: Can you do a video on how often you moisturize your hair in between washes? Thank you

jess: hey girl! i was wondering how long it took for your hair to reach this length? :)

Koby’s Multiverse🪐.: Seeing you take down your hair is calming, and the background music just makes it better.

Malina Shampandle: Omg. I thought my hair was breaking after I took my braids out. It's shedding and that makes so much sense now. Any tips for less shedding??

Abria Yates: Hi Eugenia, I hope you are doing well.. can you share what your diet, supplements and how you make your moringa smoothie etc. For hair growth. I feel like hair growth is an inside out thing.. I'd love this very much. Thank you for all your lovely informative videos ❤

Ahmerea Gouland: I said on another African sister page and I’m gone say it again!!!! My African sisters stay getting me together with this natural hair care I’m gonna try this as well I recently cut my hair. It was so damaged

LighTraveler: Yes bc I had so much length after taking out my braids but I combed out fist fulls of hair, by the time I got it untangled and comb throughable the length was gone Your hair looks amazing hon! Thanks for vid

TheModestine: Can we just appreciate how beautiful this babe is…I’m glad I found you❤️

With love, Stephanie Denise: My hair is dry. I've worn protected styles for 30 years and the length is to my shoulders. I'm going to try this, document it and share the results, whether good or bad. Ty

Shannel D. K.: Hello, great video. Question...would any of your products be good to use on locs? After a little over 2 years having loose natural hair i decided to loc it. I still have a pretty decent length, a bit past my shoulders...however I would like for it to grow longer and stronger. I always wanted to try aloe vera. I need a really good moisturizing product.

Lavena Washington: Thank you Miss Kelcy finally I've found someone who can help me on my natural journey for the first time in years!

Iliana Marie: Beautiful hair, beautiful skin

Israel: Lol I just washed my hair and conditioned with your products. I put 4 braids in after every wash and condition and leave them in for 1-2 weeks. My hair is growing very nicely. Head wraps after my befriend until my hair grows back close to where I cut it (low back). If you’re thinking about purchasing her products hurry up and do it. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Jen Griffin: Ok!... So aside from your beautiful natural hair, you my dear are a doll. Skin is absolutely flawless! Truly kissed of the sun! Gorgeous smile nd your voice is adorable. Thank you so much for sharing. I will try this.

Vânia Vincent: Wow i wasnt aware on how your hair type stretches so much. Its really long. I will try your recipe as my hair is quite dry (including roots). I think it will be good. Trying for it to be very very long. Thank u

J. OMGloss: Heyy I have protein overload now because of rice water. Do you know what I need to do?

M F: Amazing video and you have such beautiful hair! Could you post some videos about how your hair was before you started this routine? Or have you always had really long hair? Thank you!

alexandraad81: But what do you use on your skin? It’s so even and glowy!!

Shaaron imaagine: I always wash my hair in twist I love it because my hair doesn’t tangle

Koby’s Multiverse🪐.: 6 weeks?! lmao, my hair would have already started its loc journey by then.

Victoria Hunter : rice water grows my hair super fast, so I am starting today, a rice water challenge until Christmas eve to see how much length I got. I use only rice water, acv and water rinses, and sulfur 8 grease and sometime African pride growth olive oil with tea tree. I steam my hair weekly so that the products get deep in the scalp. I will be trying what you are doing to. you are super beautiful!, keep up the good work, from one creator to another.

elsie bene: Omg I love your videos you are my inspiration in my natural hair journey!

Emem Michael Udo: This girl is so beautiful, hair skin is like beautiful coffee yet like chocolate and her hair is gorgeous. Without makeup she looks this great wow. That's why I advocate for dark skinned women to appreciate how beautiful they are without thinking of lightening their skin. I love her to death. Love from Nigeria ❤️

Olivia Ondo: I love that part '' You have to be patient with your hair'' because I think the real deal here with afro hair is patience. If you do not have the time and you're not patient, you will never be able to take care of them. Our hair need love, time and nutrient.

Eldanaኣፍሪቃ: Eat Avocado and egg regularly. That really worked for me. No color, no chemicals. No natural hair products. Stretched/flat ironed hair.

7 8: Excellent video! Thank you!

Tonya Williams: I wish I had learned this method of caring for my long hair before I losted it. Dying my hair made it fall out. I even have bald spots now.

bianca oku: I like your video's a lot. Do you moisterize your hair in protective styles and how many times in a week? And what do you use to moisterize your hair with?

Shunai Music: Hey sis! Can you make a video on how you style your hair for protection, low manipulation and how you usually wear out your hair after wash + how you take care of it at night?

Samantha Masara: Your hair is beautiful. My hair is just stubborn. I've been keeping it for 3 years and it's still less than 10cm long and has different lengths

Michele Maddox: I wish your name, product line info and where to buy it were included here. Also like your recipe for the treatment. I made a masque w aloe vera and had a terrible allergic reaction: light headed, faint with heart pounding. Aloe Vera is in so many hair masque formulas but the amount to be included is always unclear. I peeled a piece then blended w oils, avocados, and mayo. I did not squeeze out the juice. Was that a problem? Any thoughts on that?

Paty Meireles: Eu adorei!

Lana Smith: I would do braids like this, only, I have no time for it. I have a lot of little siblings so they like to be all around and telling me what they want/need(even though most times they can ask mommy and daddy). But honestly, I don't think anyone likes when I take the time to actually DO it. After I'm done they're like, "oh wow, it looks so nice," but when I'm doing my hair, they say I take too long, or there is just not enough time in the day. Idk‍♀️

Rachel Farmer: I want my hair to grow longer like this.

Sharon kabemba: Hi , what hair treatment have you used so far ,amongst all your treatments posted, which one is more effective and best hair growth remedy that you would prefer to be used?

Ms Belinda: I’m so glad I found you today❤️You’re very beautiful and your hair is to ! thank you for sharing your products It brings other people confidence within their selfs to do something About their hair and breaking it off. But first ladies we got to stop with the weave’s and going to the wrong beauty shops and to the wrong and asking questions I don’t understand why my hair won’t grow?I’m just saying you Gotta be consistent with your hair or it won’t grow

Sydnee Houston: Can I use the deep conditioner as a leave in? Do I have to wash it out?

Urhighness1111: Absolutely gorgeous!

Nikki Crawford: Been waiting so patiently on you to post. I love your hair care products and am waiting on my next . My hair LOVES your products

Kaiya Symone: Can't wait to try this!

Nikkipassion: I’m definitely trying!

Amirah Lawal: I normally twist my hair on the night then In the morning use conditioner on it before I take out the twists then I comb it and add hair cream

kittykatarinax: Hi! I have high porosity hair that WILLLL NOT retain moisture for the life of it. I have black/asian/white hair that is 3b. It is just horrible when it comes to moisture. When I was a child I had long, beautiful hair that reached my hips. And now that I'm older it just won't reach past my ribs, and it's all thin and stringy at the bottom. I'm so excited to try this and I will let you know exactly how it goes! Just put in an order for the deep conditioner!
