Barbara

Hi guys welcome to today's video. My name is barbara. Thank you so much for clicking on today's video. So today i'm bringing you some tips that have helped me to grow my hair things that i still use up to now things that i'm very proud of, because they have helped me tremendously to grow my beautiful natural hair. I am pretty sure there are a lot of people who are like me. They want to grow their hair this year, more longer, more healthier, more fuller. So if you are that kind of person - and you are obsessed with tips and tricks of how to grow your hair longer stay tuned, the first thing that will absolutely grow your hair longer and healthier is deep conditioning deep treatments, deep masks, whatever it is. As long as it stays on your hair for a long period of time, you want to use that product deep conditioning has been fundamental in my hair journey and i don't deep condition for five minutes: no honey. We deep condition for 30 minutes an hour overnight. We go extra mile because i need extra moisture in my hair. It has made my hair to be fuller, healthier longer. I am that person who, if i don't deep condition my hair, i didn't wash my hair every time i wash my hair. I have to deep condition: it's a must for me and if i'm not going to be deep conditioning, i don't wash my hair. If there is anything you don't want to miss on your wash day is deep conditioning so do that 2021. You have an opportunity to deep condition. Your hair tip number two for growing. Your hair is pre pouring your hair. This is pre shampooing like before you do your shampoo. You do pre-poo with an oil. I usually do uh use coconut oil as my pre-poo, and also avocado oil and olive oil. Those are my favorite oils to use for pre-pulling. They deeply penetrate my hair shaft. They open up my hair, they help with the detangling process and they add bounce to my hair and moisture. My hair will be looking shining and bouncing after that pre-poo. To be honest, if if you can pre-poo and forget about the shampoo, i think you'll be good to go for those of you who don't know what people looks like. It'S just get your oils and apply them on your dry, hair and uh. Put on our a plastic cup for an hour 30 minutes, depending on what you're doing and wash that the oils out and do the rest of your regimen. That'S what people is, after you have done your pre-poo or deep condition. The next thing that is going to grow your hair, and this is hands down something i have tried at least i experienced it last year. Um for two months is finger detangling using your fingers. This i am going to be using 2021 because it has, i didn't know i can survive without combing. My hair, but i can finger. Detangling has been helpful in terms of shedding less i'm not breaking my hair with a comb and stuff like that. I usually do uh detangle in sections because it becomes a little bit easy and i also make sure that i take my time as i do finger detangling. I start towards the ends of my hair. I detangle make sure that it separates nicely and then i work myself up. I take my time and while i do finger detangling, what you don't want to do is finger detangle, your hair, when it's dry, don't do that. Just don't finger detangle your hair when it's damp guys like it, makes the whole process easier. I have realized that when i have a style, an old style in my hair and then i apply a little bit of water, it tends to unravel by itself. So i was like well, this is easy, but if your hair is super dry and you want to detangle it and you detangle it without comb, that's disaster guys it's going to break your hair. So don't do it. The next thing that has worked for me and has grown my hair is washing my hair in twists guys. So after putting your pre-poo or deep conditioning twist your hair up and go wash your hair like that and when you're in the shower, you can just unravel one twist at a time and wrap your hands around it. Let the water wash it out completely and then twist it back again in the shower. That'S a good tip. It has made my whole washing days very simple, very fast, and i i just go through my wash day like you know, um, and when i'm done with washing it, my hair is in twist. What i have to do is just do the lco method, put them back in the twist and forget about my hair, like literally that's. How wash days have been made simple for me. Another thing you guys that have been doing that has absolutely grown. My hair is low, manipulative styles, so i'm not the person who slicks down my hair left right center. I'M not like that. I go with the simplest of styles when it comes to natural hair, like the one i have right now, very cute uh. I go with the simplest of styles, but also something that talks about my personality, so low, manipulative styles are styles that you put in your hair. Make sure that your hair is stretched and make sure your hair is well kept and they are not going to bring any tension to your scalp or break your hair. Those are low, manipulative styles. So what i usually put in my hair as a low manipulative style is braids, so i do braids on my hair. I am telling you these mini braids or whatever braids that you put in your hair are going to grow your hair, like that's the best. No manipulative style for me um, but also for twists. I can keep the twist in for about a few days because i don't want my hair to. I don't want to have a whole um hard time finger, detangling my hair and stuff like that um. So i don't usually put them on for a very long period of time what else with the low manipulative style. I feel like that's what i actually do like mini braids and twists. Those are my lip little styles and also i like to put my hair in a high band that is very loose like my buns are always loose and to me it works to be honest, it does work so loose bands up or down the work. Another thing that has absolutely grown, my hair is moisturized, i'm a person who's, just like water seal water seal. If i'm really not into working on my hair, usually that's what i do um, so i have been using a lot of water and then blue magic, leave-in, conditioner, blue magic, like that has made my whole process quite easy, and my hair could never be dry. I i disagree. I don't want to do it if your hair is dry, there's something that's going on. There'S something you're doing that is not right and usually is the moisture. You are not having moisture in your hair, so moisturizing is uh, lcr, leave-in, cream and oil. Um and then i use uh the loc method, which is the l like. I alternate whatever comes to me. That'S what i do, but usually it could be the basic water and blue magic and it works. Moisturizing can be putting moisture, which is water in your hair and drinking water inside your body. So i'm not going to go into the drinking water thing, because people don't really think that that's actually provides a lot of moisture, but it does the more your hair is moisturized, the less breakage, the less shedding and less work. You have to do on your hair. Really um so moisturize. Another tip that has been very helpful to me is use natural hair products, use natural hair products guys they have to be natural 100 natural products, so whether those are oils or um, deep conditioning that you're using they have to be 100 natural. If you're, not using 100 natural products, your hair is going to dry, your hair is going to break your hair, is going to be stagnant. Your hair won't grow so make sure that you read every ingredient in the products that you buy. It'S very very essential because a lot of people are using wrong products and hoping that their hair will grow. It won't so look at the products that you have and are they working for your hair? First of all, are they for your hair type um? How is your hair responding to those products if your hair is not responding well with the product at which you would tell um, then you're not going to be able to use that product? Give it up otherwise you're just wasting time so find products that are natural and products that are good or work for your kind of hair. Another tip that i recently gotten to know is apply more product on your ends. The ends of your hair. You can go hard with this, because these ends of our hair tend to be very, very, very, very dry. So, whenever i'm using my blue magic, which i love, i tend to put a lot of it on the ends of my hair, because if your hair ends are healthy, then you really don't have to trim your hair. The reason why you have to trim your hair every now and then is because these ends are dry. They are damaged they're their through it. They just they just want to fall off. So if you don't want them to fall off and you don't have to um cut it off, moisturize them apply more product. Take care of these ends as much as you take care of your scalp. That'S all. I have to say another important thing that we all have heard is protect your hair at night, guys protect your hair at night. Don'T just come out of work, very tired and just sleep on your cotton sheets. No, no, no honey! You have to protect your hair at night because i use a certain bonnet. I don't have to do anything with my hair. I put it up and then i put my satin bonnet and i go to sleep. I never sleep with my hair when it doesn't have a certain bonnet. I can't go anywhere without it. I i cannot leave with my satin bonnet. To be honest, it has been very, very helpful in this hair journey and i believe that just changing that in your hair, regimen could really grow your hair, because the reason why we put on these satin bonnets is because we want to protect the moisture in our Hair and we don't want our hair to be dry, so we want to protect that with a certain bonnet. So the next thing i'm going to talk about is just massage your scalp i'll talk about this in most of the times just massage your scalp. I usually get this scum like this, and then i just go around doing like this. It feels so good you guys if you can use your hands. I use this because i honestly i can't massage myself with my hands, so i do use these and just go around my scalp, massage it and stuff like that, helps with the blood circulation and that helps with hair growth. So do that, and the last thing i want to share with you guys is: leave your hair alone. Leave your hair alone. It'S going to grow, it's meant to grow. That'S why it's not your hair! We don't do anything to force that by leaving it alone, i don't mean that you neglect it all completely. I'M talking about um doing what you have to do and leave your hair alone, like literally that's it. So thank you guys so much. I enjoyed sharing these tips with you. I'M also going to continue doing these tips for 2021 because they have been very helpful in my hair growth and my hair is grown. It'S grown because of these tips, so hopefully this video was informative, um. Hopefully you can try these things. If you don't that's: okay, yummy, it's okay, julia! It will ease your life, but i am here to share with you the things that i do to grow my hair. So here we go happy 2021. I'M excited and yeah. Let'S get back to this hair journey. Thank you. So much guys subscribe comment down below some of the tips that i haven't mentioned that are working for you, because i am all about tips, guys, i'm all about tips, so comment down below what tips i have missed out or things that you do to grow. To make it, melt the butter on medium/low for about 15 minutes (until the solids separate from the oil. Don’t let it brown or burn. Strain the solids off and throw away. The oil part is gold. No need to preserve; it has a long shelf life.
