Number one: this is the hardest thing to do on your natural hair journey. Hey guys! Welcome back to my Channel today, I'm gon na be giving you guys ten natural hair grips that you need to know, because the last video I did did really well. So this is basically a part two, so I have ten tips. Let'S get into them. It'S not hot porn trends. I guess, like every week, there's some sort of trend like the inversion method or rice water, putting items in your hair that have the potential to be dangerous for your hair. So with this just be careful about the trends that you decide to experiment with. Do your research on it because I know a lot of people were experimenting with rice, water and they got protein overload and then they had to end up doing a whole bunch of deep conditioning and getting their hairs pH level back on track. So any other trends that you see in the natural hair community just do a little bit more research and then decide for yourself. If you would like to experiment with that number nine is to get your hair on a schedule. So everybody knows like how new babies act like you have to train them. You have to get them on a schedule in order for them to cooperate with you, so introduce your hair to a schedule. For me, I know that my natural hair wash day maintenance day is Sunday, so every Sunday picture get your mind mentally prepared like we have to wash oh, no, we have to detangle, we have to wash. We have to decondition. We have to style like just get your mind, ready for the fact that this day of the week is gon na be wash day so mentally prepared, and then once you pick the day of the week that you want to do your hair on. You have to stick to it, so you can't say: I'm gon na do my hair on Sunday, Sunday comes around and you're like oh I'll, do it tomorrow and then Monday comes around and you're like, oh I'll, do it tomorrow. If you say that your hair day is Sunday, you have to do it on Sunday, don't try too many products at one time, so the problem with being a product junkie and trying too many products at one time is that if your hair negatively reacts to one Of the products you won't be able to know which product it was. So if you want to buy a whole bunch of products because they're on sale, that's fine but just make sure you're using like one to two different products or introducing those specific products into your routine. Slowly, so that your hair can adjust. And then you can know which products are working and which products are not working. Number seven is to price-match your products, so you can look online. I know that target definitely has a online section where you can type in one of their products and then, if it's cheaper on their website, you can match it to the website's price, which is usually a little cheaper, and I know I got a product for seven Dollars, instead of twelve verse, six is the best advice that I can give anybody for natural hair leave it alone. I know it's hard, I'm not everybody like wants to hop on the wash and go trend and everybody just wants to experiment with their hair. All the time, but I would honestly say leaving your hair alone - is the best thing that you can do for your hair, low manipulation and protective styling is the way to go. Number five only go to stylist that you trust and only go to people that you know will handle your hair with care. Oh, you had a bad day because we all have them as thought of the other you walked in here today. Talking about well this one client, and you know I knew who you were talking about, but you came back a couple weeks ago. I personally am very very aware of who I let touch my hair, because some people are just heavy-handed and some people are rough and they don't actually care about the health of your hair. So when they're detangling hear that snap crackle pop it's time to walk out number four be aware of the ingredients in your products. This shampoo with me right here. So if you turn the product around, the first ingredient is water and then the second ingredient is sulfate. So just make sure you're aware and you're paying attention to the ingredients so that you don't waste your money number three avoid type styles. Now I know that in today's culture is really popular to have like the tightest ponytails and make sure everything is so slick. But it's just not healthy and the amount of tension that it takes to create that style is just gon na have long-term negative effects on your hair. So, honestly, this bun is very loose. I can move it and the roots of my braids are not tight either. I have a lot of wiggle room so just be aware of how tight your styles are. How much tension you have on your edges should help with any sort of breakage or any type of issues that your head, where you might get a headache from a style. So avoid tight styles and have low tension. Styles, number two is to make sure that you're drinking water and taking vitamins - if you know that you're not getting your daily nutrients through food, so basically the way that vitamins work, your body intakes the nutrients and then it spreads it into other areas of your body And I believe that you, like your nails and your skin, get it first and then your hair is the last to get that nutrients. So, honestly, you can incorporate more healthy foods into your diet or you can take vitamins. I personally have never taken vitamins consistently enough to see tremendous hair growth, but you could always give it a try number one. This is the hardest thing to do on your natural hair journey do have to accept your hair at every stage. I know when I first did the big chop, basically cutting off my heat damage. I did not like my hair. I did not like the shrinkage. I just didn't like my hair overall, but now people see my hair and they want to have my hair and I'm like. I thought I would never be in a position where other people are saying that I'm their hair goal is like it's crazy. It'S crazy to me so accept your hair at every stage of your journey. Don'T be envious of other people's hair, or at least try not to be. I know it's really hard. You'Re, like you know what this person has really amazing hair and I really like to be at their position one day, but try not to rush the journey, enjoy every aspect of it get to know your hair and be patient. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did please like this video and give me a comment, letting you know which tip you're gon na be implementing. That'S it for this video and I'll, see you guys in the next one bye yeah, I cut my hair and it doesn't even four inches like it doesn't feel it feels lighter it feels area. It feels young MA. Oh

Prophetess Lady Of Wisdom: I agree with all of your tips and I love your humble spirit. My biggest challenge is avoiding neglecting my real hair since I wear wigs 95% of the time. I just had to cut it ear length at the end of 2018 due to damage, matting and breakage. Now it's around mid back and I'm taking better care of it under my wigs now.

T&T Beauty: I love hair growth tips. I just did my first video on the topic. I look forward to hearing your tips and tricks!

Seouled: yes i did my research on rice water and damnnnnnn it’s growing my 4c low porosity hair GOOD!

Naturally Textured: Your hair is gorgeous girl! New subbie here ❤️ I am excited to watch your journey! I’m filming my loc journey here on YT as well.

Life As Dnahtiyah: Do you still do rice water ? I tried it a couple times but I’m going to stop because I’m not taking the chance by damaging my hair

Sartu Ahmed: How long did it take to grow?

Khyndia: Your hair is soo beautiful! ❤️ About rice water it’s only creates damage to the hair if you use too much because it is a protein treatment. If we use this once a month or once every six weeks it does not damage the hair you must hydrate well after the treatment

Eva Andrea: Rice water chopped off 81% of my hair

Daisy Gutierrez: Thank you Christian this is amazing.and Good Tips

Debra Gainey: The drinking of water i need to implement more. I dont wear tight braids or styles. Do your research on products.

ImArmyTrash: Yeah.... Mines a stupid product junkie and still am. My hair was a bit more of shoulder-length, my hair is mixed with 4c and 3c, and lord I did everything with it. I straighten it, I did a bunch of braids and twists, I kept mixing a bunch of products like cantu, olive oil hair cream, a bunch of shampoos with sulfate and it dried my hair so bad, always shedding that it's concerning. Then I did the big chop, hoping it will restart. NO DON'T. A big regret. I kept rushing myself like hoping it will grow in a week, NAH. Be patience. And i'm still rushing it. I'm still being a product junkie and doing my hair when I feel like it, which is still making me shed like crazy, contact tangles and dry hair, dandruff. I need to find go-to hair products and keep a constant schedule. ATM, I'm using Creme Of Nature Shampoo and deep conditioner, Curl activator moisturizer (in the blue and white bottle), kaleidoscope miracle drops, and HELLA cantu edge control. And I'm gonna drop those products and do more research on other minimal hair products because what I'm doing is still ruining my hair. I wash like.... I'd say only 2-3 times a fucking MONTH!! BRUHH And I do nothing else after washing. I barely comb or anything. I NEED THAT FIXED!!
