In today's video I'm showing you guys how I used castor oil for 30 days for hair growth. My hair is in that awkward stage where it's not super long but it's not super short (I'm currently trying to grow out my hair). I know I need a trim because my split ends are pretty bad, but I wanted to try growing it out a bit more before I trimmed it. To help my hair grow fast, I decided to try castor oil. Castor oil is supposed to be amazing for hair growth. After 30 days, I can agree that it has definitely helped my hair grow! Hey guys so, for the past 30 days I have been using castor oil on my hair to grow out my hair. So currently, I'm in that awkward, hair growth phase where hair is not super long, but then it's not really short. It'S just in the middle and I just hate that phase like I feel like it's in limbo and I just wanted to grow long. So, although I don't really have a problem growing out my hair, I just wanted to expedite the process. So I just wanted to try out castor oil, so I've heard so many great things about castor oil online. Recently, some of the benefits that I've read is apparently, if you eat it, it could be like a laxative which I don't know why you would want to eat this, because it's really really thick and that just sounds disgusting, but also it helps your scalp. Apparently, it helps with your skin one of the main benefits. Is it apparently helps your hair grow? So I wanted to test that out this month I have been using cash oil for 30 days and I'm honestly noticed that, yes, it does help your hair grow. So the thing that I've noticed was in the past 30 days is, I feel like especially at work I feel like. I have to put my hair up all the time because my hair is growing so fast and I just have so much of it and I think castor oil really helps to thicken out your hair and just make it a lot fuller. I just feel like my hair is always in my face and I just always have to put it up. So that is just the main thing that I've noticed within the past 30 days, but also I've looked at the before and after pictures, and it definitely helps your hair grow faster than it usually would without using castor oil okay. So this is the castor oil that I have been using. It is the viva organic, castor oil, and I got this from Amazon. So if you guys want to check it out, I will link it down below. I'Ve also been trying this on my eyelashes, which I'm gon na film the video for when I'm done with that one. I haven't been doing that for 30 days, but once I'm done, I will film a video for you guys regarding that and the good thing about this castor oil. It comes with a little to where you can put the castor oil in and it's like a mascara tube, so you can just put it on your eyelashes if you wanted to try it that way as well. So, as I said, I'm currently in the medium length, hair growth, I know for a lot of you guys this probably looks long but honestly to me this is medium growth and I do have a lot of split ends. So I desperately need to trim my hair, but I kind of just wanted to expedite the growth process before I got a trim just that I could grow my hair as long as possible because, as you guys know, as I have repeated, I'm really trying to grow Out my hair, currently, as for how I use castor oil, I typically shampoo my hair every other day or every two days and about 12 to 24 hours before I shampoo my hair, depending on. If I have to go to work or if I'm just home, I will put castor oil on the roots of my hair, so the thing with castor oil you have to be careful with is it is extremely extremely thick. So I've seen a lot of other people's videos on castor oil and how to put it in your hair. Some people will dip it in a cotton ball and then just like section off their hair and apply it into their scalp. That way, just because the oil is super thick, but the way that I did it honestly is, I just put it in my hand, I rubbed it in between my hands and then I just massaged it into my scalp. So you want to try to focus on your fingertips, because the main place that you want to get the castor oil on is the roots of your hair. Well, it is beneficial for you to get the actual strands of your hair, it's more beneficial to massage the castor oil into the roots and into your scalp, because that is going to help trigger hair growth. Obviously, your hair does not grow from the actual strand. It grows from the root, so that's why it's more important to massage it into your scalp. So again, you're gon na notice that castor oil is extremely thick. You'Re gon na probably need to use a lot of it and, depending on how big your head is like, I feel like I have. Someone have a big head. You'Re gon na want to use a little or a lot so after you've done that you're gon na notice that castor oil helps you to achieve a really sleek bun. At the same time, it makes your hair look really greasy and that's why I recommend it to use castor oil 12 to 24 hours before you take a shower, because if you go out the next day with castor oil in your hair, I don't know how you Guys feel about having your hair look super greasy. So for me I don't really want that. So it was on the weekend. I would do 24 hours if it was before work. I would do 12 hours and then I just watched out before work after you have left it in your hair for 12 to 24 hours or, however long you want to leave it in your hair. Honestly, the longer the better - but you know long, is that I could go with 24 hours. You want to take a shower, so I have read and heard from a few hairstylist that it is best to shampoo your hair two times in the shower, particularly if you have any type of oil treatment in your hair. So I only started doing this recently and I've noticed benefits, so you want to make sure to always shampoo your hair twice, especially if you have the cats oil. I promise you that if you shampoo your hair one time with the castor oil in your hair, it is not going to get the castor oil out. That stuff is super thick and you have to shampoo twice dr. you shampooed. I would recommend to use a deep conditioner because deep conditioners help to keep your hair really healthy, and if your hair is healthy, then it will help it to grow faster. It also helps to reduce the dryness in your hair, which also helps it to grow faster. So definitely try to use a deep conditioner. Well, I wouldn't really suggest to use one every single day or every other day. I'D probably say like once a week or twice a week and then every other time you wash your hair. You would want to use a regular conditioner, so just a side note and know that everyone watching this video will have a different thickness or thinness of hair. And if you like, the thickness or thinness of your hair kind of dictates, how often you will wash it. So everyone is different in terms of how often they wash their hair right now I am on every other day or every two days. That'S just because my hair is not like extremely thick. I have a lot of it, but it's not thin. It'S kind of in the middle, so yeah, if you guys, want to wash your hair every three days every four days once a week, whatever do this process, but with using castor oil. However, often you wash your hair, obviously, then, on this day I actually used hot tools. I used a blow dryer and a hair straightener, and I used a couple other products in my hair as well. However, I would not recommend to do that just because I think doing it the full benefits of castor oil. You want to try to use no heat on your hair at all, so I have straightened my hair about once a week for the past thirty days, other than that I don't use any heat on my hair whatsoever, so, as you guys can see, although my hair Is not looking like perfect right now, I'm not using heat, and I feel like as long as I'm not using a heat that is the best for my hair, so just trying to cut out all heat when it comes to your hair, not only if you're using Castor oil, but just in general, so you can also apply castor oil to your split ends if you do have split ends, and that is another way that you can use castor oil as a hair treatment. I do have split ends like intensely and I desperately need to get my hair trimmed. However, that is not what I've been focusing on this month. I wanted to just grow out my hair, so I haven't really used this as a split and repair. I can't really say how well that works, but I can't tell you that it definitely helps your hair grow. Okay. So after 30 days, this is what my hair is looking like. As I said, it doesn't look as perfect as it did 30 days ago, when I fell in that clip, simply because I am NOT using on my hair right now and I used a lot of heat in my hair in bed early earlier clip. So this is what my natural hair looks like after air drying. I just feel like. I have so much of it and I just think it looks so good like seriously. You guys definitely need to try this castor oil because it seriously just rejuvenates your hair, and it just looks so good. I'M really really proud, so I have actually done a little experiment. Within the past 30 days, I've tried to use castor oil every day, but on the days when I haven't used it before I shower, I have tried to see how my hair looks after not using castor oil before a shower and then after using castor oil. Before a shower, I have found that when I do use castor oil, my hair comes out looking like this. As I said it, air dried and it just looks - really healthy and smooth and silky the dates that I don't use, castor oil. My hair looks a lot drier, obviously it's in the middle of winter, so the air is dry. I feel like the castor oil just makes a big difference so basically, and some using castor oil will not only make your hair look beautiful, rejuvenated and just really silky and smooth, but it will also help to expedite the hair growth process. It helps your hair grow like a lot okay and as I'm filming this I'm having kind of a hard time, because my hair is all over the place, because this castor oil seriously makes your hair. Like I don't know, I feel like it. Definitely like thickens your hair, and it just makes it a lot more luscious and it's just all over the place. So sorry, if I keep playing with my hair, it's because it's literally all over the place and yeah well castor oil is amazing. Our elders say that Castor oil is cold. So if you are a person who is likely to get cold and cough often you should not use it. Also, mixing oils should be done carefully. If you are going to use those oils for long time a wrong mixture can give you long term health problems. Simply put - don't play with oils. Know the oil from a professional before you use it.

As soon as I stop taking collagen and using castor oil, my hair quality suffers even though I don't colour or use heat. For those of you who don't have 12-24 hours worth of patience, try the 8 hour cap + hat or turban method. Applied heat makes the world of difference. If you wash your hair frequently, castor oil pre-shampoo is a must. To speed up hair growth, cut castor oil in half with nigella sativa oil. Feiruz nox Ravenus: If you mix the castor oil with a coconut oil like 1/3 castor oil and 2/3 coconut oil not only it wont grease your hair just as much (coconut oil is one of the rare oils that hair and scalp absorb easily) but also you can use it on both the scalp and the ends it give you a smooth shiny hair but also its easier to put without using a huge quantity and the results are pretty much the same because coconut oil kind of affect the growth of hair slightly

Ashlee Fay: Someone asked in the comments how to grow out the hairline that is receding. Here is what I learned to help this from my own experience and from research. Use a derma roller and castor oil on scalp/hairline. I did this over night and wrapped it in a hair net with cut up plastic bags for hairline (one for snacks). You can also tighten a scarf around the hairline with the plastic bag on hair line to keep in moisture.

Briana Whatley: I have heard that if it is ingested, it reacts strongly with alcohol. I know a lady that put just a bit in her husband's food, and he was fine. He only had a strong side affect whenever he started drinking, and it would make him vomit uncontrollably. She never told him what she was doing. He just thought his body couldn't handle the alcohol anymore, and it encouraged him to get help for his alcoholism.

HelenaDidIt: Use a hair dye applicator bottle.. it will get it right at the root no problem or mess. . Then just massage it in and leave it. Also you are supposed to mix in a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil! It will kinda thin out the castor oil a little but sonits not so thick!
Poison Ivy: Coconut oil didn’t helped me, whatsoever, it made my hair more dull and dry. And I bought Castor oil since it was in serum section at drugstore. I have been colouring my hair for 8 years, it’s super destroyed, I invested in expensive hair care (Kerastase nutrition line), but it didn’t helped, my hair would be super dry and kept ripping apart. After using Castor oil for month (each time I felt my hair was dry I used it and washed my hair once a week), let me tell you I don’t even need now hair mask. My hair is soooo soft, shiny.
Trudy-Ann Barracks: Here in Jamaica we use castor oil for a number of things. Hair growth, constipation, for a quick flush of the system. One teaspoon and you have loose bowels lol. It is also use for tooth decay, extracting a bad tooth.

Isabella Arnadottir: I just chopped my hair off and just wanted to try this for a month. I will try to update starting Monday . Starting at 13 inches/ 33 cm. Day 1: no difference of course. Day 2: no difference. Day 3: didn’t do it. But still did massage my scalp. Day 5: It has grown a fourth of an inch Day 6 and 7: I put it in and left it in. I did it this week and will measure it Monday. It’s at 14 inches. I haven’t stopped but I am not doing it as much anymore. I will update next week and it will be the final update.
