Dog Bite Victim Has "Pubic Hair" Growing on Her Face | Botched | E!

http://www.youtube.com/user/Eentertain...

When I was nine years old, my grandfather was holding the dog. I was actually pretty terrified of the pit bull. All I remember is black full attack mode yeah, so he bit out the chunk of tissue yeah I mean. Then we went to the emergency room and there the doctors suggested that we wait until we see a plastic surgeon crystal is very lucky that the emergency room - physicians, didn't try just to stitch up that big gash and opening in her cheek, because the ER doctor does Not have the same skill set as a plastic surgeon if they did, she would have been like this. How long was it open before you had the surgery done? I was open for a while yeah like how the outside of Freddy Cougars face, looks like a burn. That'S what the inside look like, so we went to the doctor. He suggested the skin grass take it from the groin. So what happened with her? They did the surgery and then the hair started growing you're, getting pubic hair on your face. Yes, literal pubic hair. I don't believe that the doctor mentioned, I would grow pubic hair. Out of my. I don't remember that it's interesting why they chose it from the groin, because there's so many places they could have done the back the abdomen. You obviously wouldn't do the armpits. How has this now since affected your life? I I first thought it didn't affect me since having my daughter, I really started to get conscious of it. How old is your daughter now she's six months, I'm worried about the kids that she'll go to school? Are you what about the future? Yes, my daughter, her name is sana she's, six months now, after having my daughter, I am very nervous about how other kids are treat her. Because of how I look. I don't want her to be teased, we're a little amazed that you could have that larger chunk taken out of an area where there are so many facial nerve branches. This is expertly done, reconstructive work. What do you want us to do if we can make it as small and as minimal as possible? That would be perfect. Crystals case is actually deceptively very complicated. That skin is very close to critical anatomic structures like the nose, the cheeks and the eye that, if altered, even a little bit, can change the entire shape of the face and look very deformed.

Regina Prawira: The fact that shes worried about her kid being teased in the future shows how great of a mom she is ❤

Lay Zee Suga: She didn’t care about herself being teased… But was concerned about her daughter being teased. So sweet.

eioshen boboi: She's such a beautiful woman even with a scar. I hope she still knows that.

Delicious Atomic Bomb: She should sue that doctor. He knew exactly what he was doing.

MsMelody: There's a case in Kerala, India where the surgeon used the skin from chin of a male patient as a patch inside the mouth. Poor man is suffering and is unable to eat normal food as there are hairs inside his mouth. When he complained about it to the doctor, he teased the patient, saying go get a hairdresser. I can't even begin to imagine the plight of the patient.

Shawtynya: She’s so selfless , she was more worried about her daughter getting teased then she was about herself being bothered/ bullied.

Squiddle woddle: Couldn't have been accident, lots of surgeons are psychopaths and like to mess with patients. Be careful people.

Susan Felker: As an electrologist, I could permanently remove the hair growing from the graph without surgery. Wouldn't that be the safest way to protect Crystal from any complications of having more surgery? Electrolysis is such a life changing treatment for women with embarrassing facial hair growth. It should be covered by medical insurance to remove.

Nikki C: Proud of my childhood bestie for going through with this so publicly! Love you Chris!

Jerona Radlien: She’s so pretty omg and her baby

YouAndYerBloodyChicken: The doctor is sick. (The one who did the original surgery.) Why take it from THERE.

Vy Nguyen: What impresses me is that she doesn't even care of that she only does because she doesn't want her daughter to be bullied but her??

DestinyDK: The love she has for her daughter and wanting her daughter to not be bullied is really beautiful. Very selfless.

C.F Paintings: I watched the episode, I'm so amazed how they helped her. It's as if she NEVER had the patch. It was an absolute success. They had to make a pocket in her check that had to be filled with fluid to develop more tissue. because her face was very tight, there wasn't enough skin to cover the patch so that fluid pouch had to be done in her cheek. That took about 6-8 weeks and it was moved to her patch area and they were able to stitch it up, no patch, no hair, nothing. Very happy for her

jamlove954: Wow her attitude is so beautiful and positive. We all could learn a lot from her grace, poise, and gratitude. Such a pretty lady

Allison MacRae: Crystal seems like a really good person, with a great sense of humor!!

Ashley W: omg my heart dropped I am so sorry that they did this to her wow they should lose their license immediately! she’s so strong and beauty.

Pixelchu: I’m surprised she managed to keep it on after so long and she’s doing it for the future. Very strong-minded for sure.

Zumey Bear: I love her ability to find the humor in the situation. I know it's been a long time coming for her to get to that point too. That's a beautiful soul right there.

Amanda Ford: She is beautiful inside and out! I wish her and her family the best!

Shelia Pea: Thank you for sharing your story. I'm beyond words. I wish you the very best young lady.

💕 Love&War: Beautiful young lady. Blessings to her.

Just Call Me Jess Z: The fact that she is only worried about her looks because she doesn't want her child to be made fun of is so sad, and so incredibly sweet at the same time. Bless her. And her lucky baby girl

7 violett: Seems like a cruel joke. That’s so wrong that the doctor would use her skin from there, it makes no sense. She is such a gorgeous woman too.

PatchworkRose567: From a distance, her patch just looks like a birthmark or scar. It’s crazy odd that they would take skin from down under tho.

Kiara Del Rosario: This two doctors are amazing! please keep it up and stay safe.

Rebecca: What kind of doctor would do this?! She’s literally soo stunning I hope she’s doing well!!!

Nicholina Plange: I actually love how the scar looked (not the extreme close up). She’s beautiful. I want to see how it ended

okeefe757: It's good that she can laugh a little at the ridiculousness of what the doctors did.

crys: She seem like such a sweet person. That sucks that happened to her

Kyra Ewing: I was attacked by a pit bull when I was four. Although I don’t remember the event very clearly, it was a long time ago. I am thankful that I just had to have stitches but I’ve been left with six very noticeable scars. People always point it out to me like I don’t know I have them. I went though very little bullying for just some scars. She is very strong and being able to overcome others stares is a difficult thing. I hope that she has the best life and her daughter the same.

Gia_ C-S.: She’s super cute and the fact that she laughs about it tells a lot about her ‍♀️

Christina De La Rosa: How awful, I feel for her. She's a strong woman.

gemvenom: Mad respect for this woman. Such a good attitude and confidence, and she is GORGEOUS.

**LOUD Intuition**: How does that piece of skin although removed and reattached still knows to grow hair??? So the skin grows the hair not what’s under the skin?? Wow mind

Monique Slatton: This is why it is important to research doctors that do procedures like this ! Even get multiple opinions if necessary! Don’t just go with the first person that says they can fix it

abbsnn cose: This poor woman! I'm so glad she's taking care of it now.

Chinchilla 0: Using skin from there was a really bad idea on the doctor's part because it's darker, it grows hair and it's just dumb

Lindsay: She’s still beautiful! Her personality makes her shine

ANKIT M: We must appriciate people like this lady who face camera to talk about their medical issues so that in future nobody else faces them.

Emilia Chronix: She’s so beautiful I really hope she knows it and feels it. Must be so upsetting to have all that happen and to worry about your looks causing problems for your child- for me in a wheelchair I can let the kids check out my chair and show them how it works and how to wheelie and make it something cool and I can explain my conditions (by using tech references like “my brain and body send the wrong messages to the wrong places etc) and normalised but I can only do that because I LOVE LOVE LOVE my wheelchair and chair life and am more confident now I have it... I hope she finds a way to make it less of a possible source of pain.

Frank Gonzalez Official: What a beautiful woman. Props for the courage

Kamal LB: We can actually appreciate how perfectly everything was done beside the hair.

Kelsey _: She is very beautiful I’m so sad this happened to her. She’s still so beautiful

Vasudha Kota: She really seems like a sweet woman as she is able to laugh at the Doctor's blunder.

The Realest Idealist: It's almost shaped like a heart birthmark! I actually love the look of it...I would just shave everyday and accept it. I wouldn't want a 2nd surgery to go worse.

L.R: She’s beautiful and so is her baby girl I’m wondering was there ever a cure or solution to her patch?

Ally Cat: Now I'm pissed I wanna know how they fixed it

unrepentant: she's absolutely beautiful, clearly inside and out

Kara Creswell: This woman is the definition of class and beauty.

Subetai: I mean I think the surgeon deserves some recognition because as the doctors stated the surgery was performed expertly and has literally no visible alteration on her eyes, nose and general face shape. Why he decided to use tissue from her groin is anyone's guess...

Thalassa C: Oh my gosh, the woman with the pubic skin graft is so beautiful and her daughter is the CUSTEST baby ever. Stunning ladies and great attitude

Tianruo Yang: I love her energy

nieooj gotoy: She's such a beautiful woman even with a scar. I hope she still knows that.

LinZ Lemons: Such a beautiful woman. Hope the docs can help her.

Nathnael Terefe: Finally, a normal person on this show.

Anthony Vallejo: Wow. She is only there for her child. What a selfless beautiful woman. I hope these doctors were able to help her.

jojiittybity: can we just talk about how she's such an amazing mother? :( She's also still so pretty with that patch on her face!!

Sophia Raine: She’s beautiful! Poor girl, but she’s strong!

LivingLife 18: That lady is so beautiful and is so mature about her situation.

Rishav Masih: She's a great mother.

Lemony Snicket: Bless this kind soul, her taking about her baby daughter was precious. I hope she sued the crap out of the doctor that botched her face up.

Morgan Cohen: You are so beautiful and strong! Your child will be so proud of you

Eden Rae: Honestly, I think she looks so beautiful-- scar or no scar-- but I understand how challenging it'd be to have pubic hair growing from your cheek :-/

mata schmata: The plastic surgeons here are a little misinformed. It's actually very common to take skin grafts from the groin area/inner thigh as the skin is thick and the blood supply is very good. Considering the circumstances it might've been the best option and honestly whoever repaired her face did an amazing job with it.

Rishelle 4Ever: I seen another girl whom had a graph from the same area on her finger and she grew pubes out of her finger tip! So amazing what they can do still

Maria Le: She is such a gorgeous lady that it doesn’t distract from her beauty

Amy 🦋: Where's part 2? I'm invested now! She's a beautiful looking girl anyway whatever she decides to do.

Knightly Kin: She can sue for a lot when it comes to medical malpractice like this. It's not only extremely immoral, but it's illegal to not tell your patient *everything* you are about to do. Even the small details, and possible future events from the procedure. He needs his license revoked.

Kenny Nicholson: She is absolutely gorgeous. I have been married for 26 years. Our eldest child is now 24 years old and a mother herself, but due to meningitis she contracted at 9 months old, she is scarred heavily from her feet to her hips, caused by the septicemia that had to be debrided and followed up with numerous graft procedures. She has a few small scars on her arms, and a few tiny ones on her beautiful face. She was bullied all through her childhood and right up into high school, but in her mind she is strong, and does not let her scars bother her, as we always taught her that her many scars were like medals to show how very brave she had been. Scars no matter how bad, or how visible, do not detract from anyone's natural beauty. We all have imperfections, but it is peer pressure and the cruelty of others that make evil comments and throw insults to make themselves feel better about themselves, that cause far more damage to our hearts and our minds. Especially the savage world of school children. If we spent as much time trying to learn about each other, instead of fearing any differences we may have, this world could have been a much brighter place.

Lunasent: What a sweet lady!

DeHart Family: I have never ever heard of anything so mean. That doctor knew what he was doing. It’s tissue that is different than normal skin, it’s chicken skin growing feathers. In her face. It’s something one might do to an enemy.

ShiPolar's Life Bloopers: What an absolutely beautiful human being

Meg O: Depending on how old she was I believe the surgeon didn't want to leave more scarring than necessary. It's proven that the skin below the navel is meant to be reshaped and stretched as women's skin typically is during pregnancy and childbirth. Unfortunately the risk of some hair growth with the skin cells is present.

Percy Rowling: She’s so beautiful still I have no clue why the doctors didn’t suggest any other part to get skin from omg

Matthew Cody: Absolute stunning girl even with the graft ,i hope they fixed it for her

Bitch Hi: She's very beautiful with even having the scar

Lizaaa: My mom was in a fire she started at the age of 3 her scalp burned off in a few parts. They used skin from her thigh to graft her scalp so its possible idk why they didn't do that instead. Either way she is stunning.

blue: She is so pretty . And no I'm not just saying that to give her petty because of the procedure done on her face , she is genuinely gorgeous.

laurenlunchbox: She is an extremely beautiful woman with or without her scar. But I hope she will be happy with herself if they were able to correct it.

B Craftin: She still has amazing spirit

Donique Whonder: She deserves some real help. Not the people that intentionally destroy themselves then want it to be fixed

maeve bella: HER BABY IS A LITERAL DOLL AND THE MOM AND PATIENT ARE GORGEOUS

V. Smith: She’s so pretty too I hope they can help her

Si Robinson: She really doesn’t look bad I thought it was just a birth mark at first but I could understand she doesn’t want hair growing out of her face like that

Diane Money: There is laser hair removal. That could be done so much easier than having to go through a surgery again. She is beautiful regardless of what she chooses.

maddi briseno: Oh my gosh that’s the cutest baby I’ve ever seen in my life

Jesus Christ: Bro. The other doctor was barely holding back a laugh.

Luna Rose: Awww she seems like a super sweet person!

Cris: I guess he took from the groin to avoid another visible scar

Anoushka: Oh my god her daughter is so adorable!

gal: I feel them..It feels like they wanted to laugh so hard.

Boda Cious: Other than her patch, she looks very pretty and very sweet.

BRANDY D: Groin area!? It is a part of skin that has hair follicles and you would put that on her face!?! And she is BEAUTIFUL, in every way, attitude, motherhood, acceptance! POSITIVE VIBES!

P La: The mama, Crystal and her daughter are so beautiful

shigi: finally someone here for a actual medical reason. not that there’s something wrong with modifying your body :DD

Cruscaya S: I see passed your scar. It doesn’t define you in anyway. You are a strong individual, and having the perfect skin does not make you any better mentally or spiritually. Your girl has to see how strong you are, if it doesn’t affect you it won’t affect her. Because kids are so imaginative you can always create a story about what happened to your cheek and she will believe it , appreciate it , and accept it. And she will keep this positive thinking towards it that it won’t bother what others will tell her. As she grows up she will learn what really happened, but this is not a sad story- show her you are passed it. She has to grow up being a strong little lady, having her own ideas , but it starts from you; You can help mold her behavior to be strong... Her affection towards you won’t change because of this. Help her grow mentally, to be an educated woman, strong and independent ❤️

Marina M.: I don't know how the docs dealt with this, but just thinking...wouldn't electrolysis treatments to destroy the hair follicles permanently been an easier option? Her face looks great otherwise, seems that it's the hair that's bothering her the most. (Understandably!)

Nik' D: My heart goes out to this lady. The doctor might not have known back then. We've come a long way since the 90s in medicine so it probably was the only option at the time whereas nowadays she'll be able to get it looking as close as like it never happened.

Mikey D: What a sweet and beautiful lady ✨
