Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so today i am going to teach you how to do these feathered. Layered baby hairs, that's been trending all over instagram and they just always add a little bit of extra little seasoning to the hairstyle. So i'm about to show you how we get it popping it's very quick, it's very beginner, friendly and yeah. Let'S just get it all right, charlie! So today we are focusing solely on the baby hair. This is the wig we are working with today from passionary yeah. I hope i said that name right, but today we're focusing on the baby heads i am currently in the process of having my angle exhale. So i've been going crazy for all the wigs all the styling and all that stuff y'all like how you doing those babies. So i'm like you know what let me just do a quick little tutorial on how i do those babies and nobody come up with the method. I don't want nobody taking this out of proportion. I don't know why tony get crazy with me, but these hands work and you know we get some inspiration just like what we see anyway. So i see this type of baby has trending all over instagram and i felt so much in love with them, because you know nowadays, you really just got ta be creative and the average way of doing hair and baby hair stuff, like that. Sometimes it gets boring. Sometimes certain baby hairs don't fit certain hairstyles, so you want to do whatever your eyes and your hands want you to do whatever leads you. So that's what we're going to be doing today now, i'm i already plucked this wig um, i'm not going to be doing adhesive! I am going to be using my olive oil um super hole spray just to put the wig on, so i'm going to hurry up and do that and we're going to jump straight into these babies. Hmm, and i got the celebration from the hair store. I feel like yo, i feel like every different history i go to. I always find something i'm like i need that i need like five of these. I go crazy when i find me a good razer one thing about it: i'm going to stalk that razor, i'm not about i'm going to buy multiple of them until they get dull. This is what the end looks like. I don't really know what this is for. I didn't care, i didn't look got it, i don't really care, but this this is a good razor, hmm bye. So i know i look super busted, but let's get into it. I finally finished melting, this lace down with the oils, olive oil spray shallots and then we're not sponsored but shout out to them. So this is how my hairline is looking right. Now: cool cool, perfect, all right, so first things. First, i already kind of pulled out. My babies, i'm not doing any crazy babies besides, obviously, which i can't even see, so i'm just going to put this back down, and basically you can do this. However, you want to, but this is how i've been doing it lately. This is just my way of doing it, so i already separated this part right here, which i don't remember. This is supposed to be like um, not so perfect. The only thing that's going to really be the star of the show within this hairstyle is the baby ears. I think i might just do a flip over just let it be out, as if i just woke up like the messy hair look or curly. I don't know what i'm doing most likely it's going to be a flip over but yeah the style of the show. Is these baby here, so we're not going to focus too much on this styling, but first things. First, you see this side of the baby. Is this is a lot like? Let me see all right, we got this much and this much now me. I don't like my babies too thick. I don't want to thin either, but i don't want them too too thick. So what happens when i make them thick? I just pluck and [ __ ] [ __ ] to thin thinning out and if you did not use adhesive to hold your um lace down, then you might want to hold that lace, because the last thing you want to do is do all that spraying. Just for the legs to come right back up with that, so this looks pretty good. What i'm going to be using for these edges is a razor and some type of holding spray yesterday. Well, for the rest of the time i was using this i was using got to be, but this has the same amount of hole. You don't want it to be too gooey. You don't want it to be too wet, i'm going to show y'all in a second. Exactly how i use it so i'm going to take it your bigger hair, make it, however long you want it, but you want to make it long enough so that you can curl it under and roll it. You don't want to just bump it under because you're not going to get that tight curl, you want to curl it under and you want to keep rolling until the hair slips out of the blade so, instead of like or is it a plate? I think it's a plate all right, so i'm just going to erase this down, be very careful when you use the razor combs, because the point of using raisins is to give it a jacket edge if youtube like harsh on it. It'S gon na give it a very chopped, look and that's not cute, so y'all can see i'm gon na layer it from about right here should be good and you always want to start off longer than intended, because you can always go back in and fix it. If you cut it too short, that's it. Your baby is just gon na be short, figured out all right. So this is how my baby is on. They go right into my eyebrow, so we're just gon na repeat the same all around so i'm going to take this little sideburn piece and i'm just going to cut it right. When my earrings that's about a good measurement, i don't know how else to explain it to y'all, but that way so yeah always go back and look at your work. If you're satisfied, you can leave it all go back in do whatever, but just know that you cut it short. It'S not going back, i'm just going to do the same. For here. Okay, we got our babies now if you're doing this on yourself, please be very careful or you will burn yourself. I brought myself plenty of times, i'm over so um, please be very careful, but i'm about to demonstrate what i would do now. It does help whether the hair is curly or straight, it's kind of better to straighten the section before you cut it, but i already kind of did that i already molded it before my making hair right here, so i didn't have to do too much straightening. But if you're going to go back in and curl it, it always curls better when you straighten it first and then go in with the curling line. So i have a pretty big section. If your section goes further down and it's a long section then you're going to break down the curling, then you're going to break it into and you're going to curl them as separate, and this also helps getting them more curly big head. So today, instead of doing one big pump, we're going to do two be careful y'all, be careful. Make me nervous all right, so you want to grab it, don't slide it to the end. Yet you're going to take it right where you have it and curl it right under keep curling just like that, you see how tight that is. I don't know if y'all can see that that is a tight curl. Let me move this over. Did i see that that curl is tight? It looked like i had to roll it in my head like real, tight and curled, so we're just going to do the same for this one. Oh, i missed the piece so you're gon na grab it by the rule. Pull up just a little bit and roll it in its place and don't bring yourself for the glass stop, because you will break yourself boom. Look how tight that is! Stop lying hurry all right! So now i'm just going to repeat the same process throughout all the baby heads and then we're going to get into the carving um all right. So now i have to be careful because i use spray instead of adhesive, so i don't want to wet the adhesive. I mean i don't want to wet my lace and then it's still lifting, so i got to be very careful, but also be very careful if you have my makeup already, because you could kind of mess up your makeup, but the aim. The goal here is just to spray the baby here, one time don't over spray, just more quick spray and then we gon na go into the carbon with the comb right at the mixture all right and now we're gon na start carving it. So first i'm gon na push down, see where i'm holding my fingers and i'm gon na shake. The baby is how i want them before i lift my hand, because i want the i want the holding spray to kind of dry a little bit before i move. My hand, so it was kind of already molded. Now i got this, i don't remember where i got this comb from, but it's very helpful. Even a rat tail cone is very helpful, but this braiding comb with a little extra point right here is very helpful because all i do is take it and flick the ends and it doesn't comb the whole thing out. So that's really really really helpful, so it should be dry right now and you're. Just gon na slightly move your finger, and it's literally just that okay you're gon na take your right, tailbone and you're gon na define it now. If you want to, you can go back in to that, go back in, do a quick little spray, don't need a lot hold it down, and you can also hold it down the rat tail comb just to secure it, get all the flyaways and make it look As perfect as possible - and it should look something like this - hopefully i can see that well all right, so i'm gon na demonstrate for y'all one more time and if you won't finish up spray comb halfway comb, it out, hold it and you when you comb it. You want to comb it as if you're going to make the letter c, don't move too fast, carve it halfway and get the flicket. You want to group it like this and start feathering. Kinda scared to move my hand and wherever you flick it. The more you feather it and go through each one, the more you're just going to lay it on top of another. So hopefully i'm describing this good for you, because sometimes i'm not that good of a given description, but y'all can kind of see what's going on. So i need a little bit more spritz. I feel like i get way better when it's not in my head jesus christ, i'm going to show you a couple of pictures of how i've done it on a basic hat cause. I can actually see what i'm doing, but i'm trying to get it as perfect, as i can feel all right, so halfway hold it and feather them, one on top of the other, feather it layer. It, however, makes more sense to you, so i'm just going to hold it for a second make sure it dries a little bit and while i'm going i'm going to just cut some of these flyaways because there's so many pieces that would like get grow. Okay and now you can even go a step further and take that last feather piece and form it into a circle kind of like how i just did so. I took that last feathered part this one at the end and i'm just gon na carve it into a circle and hold it hold it. It'S so cute. Look at that when i was doing all the minigames, it doesn't look too harsh. It looks very feathered. It looks very natural, it's very cute, so let's just do this real, quick and then we're going back. How many times hmm all right and that's basically it so now to this styling. I think i'm gon na do my flip over. I really want my hair to say big like this, but i know i do have to tame it. So if anything, i think i'm gon na just tame the top and keep it push it. This is so cute like this is so freaking cute and i'm not gon na lie. The first person i saw to do baby is like this. Was this hairstylist i wearing atlanta? Her name is chastity autumn, so shout out to girl, because this is bad popping and now i'm just seeing everybody doing them like it's just so popping like. Oh, my god, now i'm like! Oh, that is so cute and it's so different, because you know you just get a lot of stuff, sometimes like the same old same way. You just need something to spice up a simple look like, even if you wanted the center part. Sometimes the regular baby is very sleek and classy. Don'T get me wrong, but sometimes you just need a little. This is like me, calm, but extra y'all kind of get. What i'm saying, oh and by the way y'all know i don't play with my nails. One else is not done right now. This is not me yeah. I know that but, like i said i am in the middle of the wig still so i'm i took my nails over i'm braiding, i'm doing all i need to get in there because i know once i get my nails they only about this moment, so they Can'T function like that, but yeah, so a part of me really want to use not so much of the spritz, because once you use spritz and then you try to go over with a hot comb with some type of like hot tool, it's going to turn white And we don't do that actually here, so i'm going to spray it with my um beyond his own flat ironing mist. Y'All know this is my favorite just give it some sheen and no it's not heavy at all. No, it's not super oily. This just gives it that extra pop and i'm going to take my hot cocoa and i'm going to just get to mold it. Oh some of y'all might be wondering too. Why didn't just tie my hair down and then go in with the um which we're going to go in with the water and all that stuff? And every time i tell my baby is down when i do them like this? It leaves a deck and it takes the it takes the body out of the baby hair like it just makes it look so flat and dented it. Just doesn't look natural, so i try to just leave it as it is. Usually i would tie down. My baby is especially if they simply baby is, but we're not doing that right now, so take some spring spray bottle wet it up once again be very careful. This uh, folding spray y'all know holding spray, is not holding the wig to your scalp. It will come off, it will start to slip so be careful and y'all know. I love my flip over method, but i hate the fact that i even have to cover these figures. I can't wait to do this with half of half down on myself. I'M just learning every single day like all throughout quarantine and all throughout just forever. To be honest, i've been taking so many hair classes like i've learned, so so so much and it's just like every time. I learn something new. I feel like i'm gon na. Do it on somebody else, but y'all know i talked to y'all about that one time but y'all like i just be wanting to do it on somebody else. I feel like hey. I did that and then nobody else asked me nothing like that's really what i want like. I just want to body at one time and then boom. But honestly, i really wish i didn't get back into the hair game like doing installs and stuff, but i'll be too much of my own afro. I'M not you know just because you're not to do here doesn't mean you have to do hair on everybody like stop. Winning stop playing with me hold on because who was playing okay. I thought you said something. What was that hold on what you thought? Okay, then, ever here we go so i have to get a little bit closer yeah see. What'S going on, don't worry my attire y'all, i'm in my house and y'all know i dressed like a boy or a bum when i'm in the house. I don't have time for the cute stuff, sometimes not all the time, though so yeah. This is how the baby hairs came out and i hope you already liked them. I hope this video was super helpful for y'all and, yes, i'm squatting right now, because the seat is all the way over there. I don't feel like going over there, but i hope y'all enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for tuning in and i'm gon na see on my next video. They don't hold me down.
