Hi everyone Ksenia pro's here and today we'll demonstrate some of the posing tips for with one of the top DC models. Sasha Barea, so I'm gon na show you how to pose for pictures to make you look good, make you look slimmer and I'll show some of the common mistakes. I see models too because when you posing in front of the camera, you can't really see yourself. So let me show you how everything looks on camera. All right, I got ta be honest. It was a total impromptu video and I was fidgeting with the cord on my mic, so some of the audio got lost, so I had to recreate it for you. So that's why the lips are not synced, sorry, so the first mistake that I see girls do is especially if you can demonstrate it just push your hips forward, see how, like your hips, gon na look bigger towards the camera, so whatever it gets closer to the Camera looks bigger and I'll push you a bunker-like back closer to the wall and if you yeah so see how you legs II, a thigh is gon na look slim already, and now, if you push your bum click to a little bit to the side, yeah right There now that's the pose, so let me take a picture like that beautiful and at the same time see what she's doing she's sort of like a tree, leaning forward a little bit and that creates a smaller waist right there perfect and now you can turn your Face to the other side and do something different with your hands again put one hand kulluk on the hip: yeah try to switch them there perfect, that's another one: okay, good yeah like that, so it's the same thing if you're doing the pose from the side. If you push your hips forward, it won't look as flattering, especially if you worried about having a flat stomach. It'S just really hard to look slim and feminine in this pose, but if you push your hips back and arch your lower back, this is when you see that pretty curve in the back, and then she can bring her owners to the front and we'll also need To move her legs closer together and bend the knee that's closer to the camera. Here we go and from this basic pose, she can also move her hands. Give different facial expressions just to create a variety. So another thing to look out for is so cold triangles that you make with your body. So can you demonstrate in her arm forms a triangle if you push it a little bit lower yeah like that perfect, so that forms a triangle right here and try to push it like straight out: don't push it towards the camera? Okay, can you push it towards the camera, so they see how it looks, because that it looks a little awkward. None of your shoulder, your elbow. So it's like this. You know that the cheerleader pose or don't push it to back is actually fine. It looks fine. Just like don't push it towards the camera, because it looks kind of funny and the yo limbs gon na look off. So another triangle that you can do is cut like this yeah another pose right. There perfect. You can form a second triangle with your other arm too. Also. Another way how you can create triangles is by bending your knee and bring in one foot on the tip the toe. Now in this pose, you see two triangles in the upper in the lower body and in this pose, you can also see a pretty curve that outlines her body and creates a beautiful feminine shape, because posing for girls is all about curves in creating that soft s-shaped Curve, please cross your legs, so this is sort of triangle into, but in a different way, because it actually creates the. So you have a smaller waist than a good hip. If you push it out and then I look smaller here, so it accentuates your figure as well. So that's a good check that I often use the posing another thing that I see a lot of models. Do that looks kind of off on the camera. If you turn your sight towards the camera like that, and then a lot of girls so give me the triangle here: keep with one foot in the tippet, so that's another pose that I often do and then a lot of girls. Do you come like this? She doesn't in a pretty way, but sometimes it can you actually over twist your body like a little bit more. You can't go wrong with Sasha because she does everything beautifully, but often times depending on the camera angle. This may not look good for your figure because it actually makes your waist look whiter than it is, especially if you like, not size, double zero, just be careful like over twisting you about it, because it may not look pretty in the picture. Another problem here is the hands, especially for those beauty shots. Okay, so we don't want like stiff hands like that with a one fist. We don't want claws the one stop that lay hands just stop so such can. You demonstrate, like a few of your go-to, poses for the beauty, shots and even like if it's a buddy shot. So if you yeah like that, just make sure you keep your hands nice and soft not too spread out, because that looks off yeah. This is good. So sometimes what I see doing is like this we're done like a fist or like a very like mm-hmm. The other problem that I see often is that some girls don't quite know what to do with their hands when posing. But the easiest thing to do is just to put one of your hands or both of your hands in the pockets. You can do back pocket front pocket if you don't have any pockets, just stick it into your belt loops, and this also will help you to create triangles in your pose and when you hand this placed on your hip or on your waist, you can either sort Of hug, your side, like that or you can put it pointing down like as if you're sliding the hand down your side. You can also flip your hand and position it so that the back of your hand is touching your side, but do it very lightly and very gracefully. You can also bring your hand into you here, and this is my favorite one, especially for candid. Looking shots like ooh, let me scratch my head: when I'm walking down the street and later we did a test shoot with Sasha, we were really going for that. High contrast, black and white look and I wanted to try something new with the lighting. So I used my parabolic umbrella without the diffuser. It has the silver reflector inside. So the light is pretty harsh, but because my studio has white walls, the light was bouncing off of the walls, so that bounced light created a natural fill.
