I promise you by the end of this video. You will fall in love with this technique because it's better than your false lashes in today's tutorial, i'm going to be showing you how to apply your mascara in a certain way. So your lashes look like they're lash, extensions or you're wearing falsies, but in fact they're your natural lashes, and i will also compare it to how we usually apply mascara. So you can see the difference. So, if you're ready. Let'S begin, the first step is to curl the lashes and on my left side, i'm just curling. As usual, i'm using the sally hansen curler, i'm going to link all the products in the description box below and for my right side, i'm going to warm up the lash curler before i use it, i'm just using a hair dryer to warm it up, but make Sure to touch and feel it shouldn't be too hot. It should be just comfortable and then go ahead and curl your lashes, and you can see what a big difference it makes it's. Just like your hair, straightener or color. You always warm it up before you use it on your hair to hold the straightened hair or the curled hair. If you don't warm up the instrument and you just try to curl your hair, it's not going to hold the curls in your hair. It'S exactly like that for your lashes as well and that'll also help to lengthen the lash hair upwards, because it's standing vertical now it's time for mascara application on my left side, i'm just applying it as usual, i'm going to go all the way from the roots To the tips wiggling the wand, so all the hair is saturated and for my right side before i use the mascara, i'm going to be using a lash primer, the one that i'll be using is from blink, and this is a black lash primer coating. Your lashes with a primer first helps to create a bold, fuller look before you apply mascara on top of it. It also serves to keep your lashes from clumping together and also help to lengthen your lashes thicken, your lashes, giving them a more voluminous. Look. You apply. It just like you, apply a mascara coating, your lashes from the roots to the tips, it's time to apply the mascara now and i'm going to be using one of my drugstore favorites. This is the voluminous lash paradise from l'oreal and while getting the mascara warned out, i'm going to slightly tilt it on one side, so it removes the excess mascara on the wand. That way, your lashes don't get clumped and if you observe carefully, this is a waterproof mascara, there's something in the formula of waterproof mascaras that hold your lash curl for a longer time. So if you want the lash curl to last the entire day, i would recommend using a waterproof mascara, i'm going to be applying the mascara just to the bottom part of the lashes, not to the top part and i'll explain why in just a minute. This is how the lashes look. They look good, but i'll show you one hack that you can use to take this to the next level when the mascara is no longer tacky and it's almost dry use the curler one more time and this time don't warm up. The color just use it, as is i'm using a lash comb, to separate out the lashes and here's how it looks while opening the mouth of your curler make sure to not pull off your lash hair. By doing these two things, one don't apply mascara to the top part of your lashes. That'S when it kind of gets sticky and your hair color can pull some hair and second make sure to open the mouth of the color very gently to cover up the skin. That'S shown underneath the lashes i'm going to be using a black eye pencil. This is the aquarius pencil from makeup forever. You can use any one that you have. It also makes it look like a lash band. So, overall, it looks like you're wearing a false lash, but you actually aren't this next step is optional, but i always like to apply mascara to my lower lashes to balance out the upper lashes and for lower lashes. I always use mascaras with a thinner one, because i have more control over smaller lashes and the one that i'm using today is the makeup forever excessive lash mascara and, of course, you can use the same mascara for your upper lashes as well. It also overall adds to the thickness of the lashes and your eyes, look so much bigger and brighter. Let'S look at the before one more time, and here is the after and that's why this technique is a lot better than those false lashes. And if you have observed these days, i do a lot of tutorials without false lashes, because i've adapted this technique. If you try this technique out, please don't forget to tag me. My socials are listed down below in the description box and if you enjoyed this video, please don't forget to give me a thumbs up if you're new here, please consider subscribing i post several videos a week, including hacks and tutorials, and all good stuff. Amor Antasia: So no one is gonna mention her perfect brows?

Easy Hairstyles: nice makeup tips! Well done! Good job!

Summer Noybn: step one, have incredible genetic long, luscious lashes..

tay'skitten: For the ppl in the comments crying for not having long lashes like Smitha. I was a person w literally zero lashes, whereas my sister had fuller lashes as if she's using false lashes all day. Due to insecurities felt within my own home I started to look home remedies to increase the volume of lashes. I look for home remedies, bc I don't use much chemical products. I found that castor oil can help your lashes grow. So I brought a tiny bottle of castor oil and applied it overnight with an old mascara wand, and y'all won't believe the change. I literally have lashes like this. I'm no more insecure about lashes and I've never used false lashes after I started to use castor oil. You just have to apply for a month to see better results. It may cause itchiness in your eyes first, but you'll gradually cop up w that

Diane Barbero: I've been thinking about getting false lashes since I'm 67 years old and my lashes seem very thin, but after watching your video I'm determined to go and use the same products that you are using and try to get the same effect as you. Thanks for helping me try your method!

feelthejoy: This is how a lot of women were taught to do their lashes in the 60s. My mom did her lashes like this for years - except she separated the lashes with a pin (!) rather than a lash comb!

Girl Who Can't Smell: As a Latina, I'm naturally hairy and my eye lashes are the one thing that compensate for all of the overall body waxing.

jj allday: I've always done this. I remember a friend nearly having a panic attack in high school seeing me pull out a curler after putting on mascara. It truly is the best way to hold the curl. A+!

Bunny Toes: I’ve been doing this method exactly but without the primer. I just used a coat of mascara in its place. Works just as well, since I was a teen. First time ever I’ve seen it on a video! I never thought of sharing it but love that you did! Also I used a fine tooth comb.

Paladium: Ps- you are a phenomenal presenter and teacher. I love how easily you explain things and you just get straight to it. Keep up the wonderful work!!!!

Giovanna C: The fact that this was not even click-bait is still unbelievable to me.

Suzy Q: Perfect, the exact way I’ve been doing my lashes for ever. Yes it works just like that. It’s all in the technique. I do like Lash Paradise but my all-time fav is Lancôme Definicils in Black, waterproof. I will switch the the Blinc primer in Black though. My primer is white & seems counterintuitive to start with bright white lashes only to cover them with black. Beautiful Smitha!!♥️

Mazah Mohamed: for people complaining about how she has "natural long eyelashes" apply castor oil on your lashes and eye curl them every night for significant growth!

Brenda Miller: OMG.... this is a game changer! My top lashes are long enough that they weigh themselves down and never stay curled. I tried this trick yesterday and they are STILL curled today! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! ❤

Zoe Louise: I’ve always done this I will never go back it works nice to see someone else using same technique literally I thought it was just me that does this routine with lashes! No need for false ones

Esme Payan: My mom taught me this when I was younger and I couldn’t thank her enough lol I hate using false lashes

Trish Long: At last!!!! Someone FINALLY says what I've been absolutely screaming for years and years now (like decades!)..... The ingredient that makes a mascara WATERPROOF acts the same. way. hairspray does on hair when you curl it--- WATERPROOF HOLDS CURL, while regular actually takes the curl right back out, basically dropping the lashes so they're sad and droopy. Ps) My technique has been similar for many, many years-- I get the same end result. However, most of us don't have lashes like yours so we can't just ditch the falsies Especially those bottom ones... Girl!

Onebighappy: I'll be trying this next time! I also add extra mascara to the outer edge of my lashes to give a fuller appearance. And I remember reading somewhere that if you apply mascara to your bottom lashes when you're tired or don't look well-rested, it will accentuate that.

AlwzAWmn1st: Yes...this way is so similar to how I have been applying my mascara for years! The only step i don't do is the primer but I have always applied my mascara and curled them again after they dry. I have ALWAYS gotten compliments on my lashes. I will def add the primer to my lashes to maximize my lashes even more now. Thanks for sharing!

roodles: i love how approachable yet helpful your tutorials are. stuff I can actually do but still looks amazing, doesn't require 40 products etc

Sarah Baldwin Pro Makeup Artist & Academy: Lovely, i love using the eyeliner technique on my clients, it really gives a lift and more intensity and gives the illusion of thicker lashes

cindy: I was blessed with unusually long eyelashes until my 50's. Having never used false lashes before I don't care for them or the application process. I did discover the mascara products with little fibers added for length and fullness. I also found it to be natural looking and easy to apply. A big difference from the falsies for sure!! Thank you for the information you give us in your videos. Beautiful work.

Yulia Morgun: This is the third tutorial on mascara and lashes that I’ve seen where you must curl your lashes twice, once before you apply mascara and again after it dries. The results are phenomenal I guess I’ll have to try it next time

Nina Peiter Carballido Mendes: Perfect lashes! I do exactly the same, but in the beginning I curl my lashes close to the roots and then in the middle, so it stays more curved (my lashes are very straight and it works wonders)

Mariyam Noor Mohammed: I am not a false lashes person and this is video is definitely for me

Paladium: Girl YES!!!!! I'm 36 and I have been using these EXACT steps ever since i was about 15. I actually got the idea about heating my lash curler from a cosmopolitan magazine. GAME CHANGER. I have always used waterproof because that's what my mom used so that's what she taught me with and all i ever knew. I have tried non waterproof and hated the smudging and how my lashes would fall almost immediately even if I followed all the other steps in this routine. I will say the one drawback is that as I've gotten older, I hate the pain in the ass that removing waterproof mascara can be. Now instead of only using waterproof, I use loreal voluminous non waterproof then after I curl the second time, I put one coat of a waterproof on the tips of my lashes and it seems to work well and isn't as hard to remove at all.

A Colon: Beautiful! I’ll definitely try these tips. Thank you for caring so much and taking precious time to share these with us. I truly appreciate you. Shanti

FroggyFella: I didn’t realize what the heated eyelash curler I own was for until watching this- I thought it itself curled my lashes but now I realized I’m supposed to use it to warm them up then curl them

Maria Concepcion: I am so glad somebody's showing this technique because I've been doing this for years.

Jeanine Wormwood: STEP 1 : be blessed with marvelous natural lashes like Smitha

Courtney S: Thank you! I’ve paired down my makeup routine to pretty much only include brows & lashes…so I don’t mind adding an extra step to make my lashes look this fab. Can’t wait to try your technique!

SinSitySinderella: This is AMAZING! I will definitely be using this method from now on. The only thing I would add is Perversion mascara by Urban Decay... I apply it as a top coat when I am finished to every mascara that I use. It never fails to take the finished lashes to a whole new level, completely takes it to that false lash look. Thanks so much!

flairy: i naturally have really long eyelashes so i really want to enhance them, and using falsies is counter-productive for me. this is a gamechanger!

Yolanda Vigil: This is a wonderful video. I'm an older lady wanting to learn new ways to look more natural. I went from lipstick only to wearing lip gloss. More natural for me is way better. But just so you know I think your video is the only video I've watched that has caught my eye and will start wearing my mascara this way. YOU'RE THE BEST!!

Wine down with Lee: My goodness this is awesome! I would have never thought to warm my eyelashes curler! Your amazing! I’ve binge watched your channel. I will definitely try your techniques and show you. ❤️

Jamie Terry: I absolutely LOVE this!! My lashes are so long and full that I feel fake lashes just don't look right on me, but they've been lacking something. This technique is perfect!! I'll be using this method from now on...thank you!!!

Dominique Abell: thank you for these helpful tips i cant wait to try them! heating up your eyelash curler is brilliant I'm so glad you shared this ♥

stormlove: This is so clear and concise!! Exactly the tutorial I wish I had when I first started using makeup!!

Roisin Malone: Looks amazing! Will definitely be trying this technique, thank you

Leeann Huckaby: I don’t like how false lashes look on me and I always have a horrible time with mascara, so I will give this a try hopefully it will be just what I needed!

Cruz381: I’ve been warming my lash curler for years. I was a heated eyelash curler fan years ago but nobody sells em anymore. I also dust my lashes with some powder before applying mascara to give it some volume. Then I hold my lash curler upside down to curl my bottom lashes bcuz I have super straight Asian lashes. Thanks for the great tips!

Wavy Jenny: Fabulous tutorial, straight to the point! Thank you, you have a new subscriber in me xx

In The Journey: I just stick my lash curler in my bra first thing. By the time I’m ready to curl my lashes, the curler is nice and warm!

Paula C: Beautiful eyelashes and beautiful brows! Thank you for the informative tips!!

maureen fagan: Your tutorial presentation was wonderful. I’m excited to start practicing this technique.

Amy: Everything in this video is brilliant. Thank you for sharing this technique!

victoria lang: These are really good tips, but I don’t think most peoples lashes will look that good after, you are seriously blessed!

kj: Now thats the way genuine youtubers do justice to their 1.65Million family..this is what we called as " worthy content". Glad being ur subscriber

LadyT D: This is amazing, i am definitely doing this moving forward. Thank you so much, i just came across your page xxxx

blogby day: WOW THANK YOU FOR THESE TIPS!!! I'll try on my next make.

VV: Thank you so much for this video! I have never been someone that likes lashes too much and this is very much what I need. Going to give it a try

OLAPLEX: We are so impressed with your skills!!! Amazing results!

moyachicken: How does she keep her eye open so well when she used the pencil. I would literally poke my eye and end up crying.

my2cents2u: When I was a teen we used face powder as a 'primer'. Curl, powder, mascara, repeat, end with final curl. Then we would use a _safety pin_ to separate the lashes - yikes! PS - there are actually battery powered heated lash curlers, and also lash curler 'warming stations'. Both are available on a popular shopping site.

Melissa: Ummmm boom! Game changer! Thanks girl! I’m so happy I found you . I love finding these tips that help me maximize my minimal amount of makeup.

Charlotte Brooks Sprinkles: I have been doing this for years. And always looks amazing!

AlizMari23: I would love to see Tati do a full video of her following all of your tips.

unpopular existence: no one's going to talk about how the mascara didn't get to her eyelids. like how

Anita Linkous: Thats a fantastic tip. I started doing this yrs ago and ppl would say "don't do that it will pull your lashes out". But if take proper care with the curler and use a lash serum at night, it won't happen. Anyway, your eyes look Beautiful Smitha!

P1X3L B1N4RY: this is such a great technique! specially for someone like me who struggles a lot with applying lashes xD thank you!

MM Klaar: Amazeballas! I quit wearing mascara some years ago because all I ended up with was a gloppy mess. I appreciate this tutorial lovely and have become a subscriber! Thank you ! Love, MM ♥️

Navneet's Kitchen: Finally a realistic technique! Thank you for sharing

Rachel O'Neil: I’ve been doing this FOREVER!! Great technique!

Memory Nielsen: I have been doing this for almost 25 years! So many people thought I was crazy when I told them I heat my eye curler up!!!!

VESSLEY: YAAAAS! i loved the outcome of this technique & it looks so natural

Lesley Thornton: Great video. Straight into it, no waffle. You have fabulous lashes x

Adore Ivette: Omg this is my technique. I've been doing this for many many years. Sometimes I'll use two different mascaras and it helps make it even look fuller. I've been telling friends if u do it how I do it you will not need falsies

Tbascoebuzz: Your tips, tricks and hacks are invaluable. You’re truly a treasure without measure. Thank you..

Sp. Dave: I hardly ever wear mascara but I'm kinda curious to try this technique on my not so long lashes to see how they turn out. Tks for such a great tutorial

Kylie: Hi I’m new to your channel. This is the first of ur videos I’ve watched and I am super impressed... The lashes look amazing. And application of the eyeliner to ur upper lid looks amazing. I’m definitely going to try this out... Thank you and I have subscribed xx

Lexy Love: I love the maybelline lash sensational mascara! Less clumping and it makes ur eyelashes look long and full!

Kristina Chlebian: Heating the eyelash curler was the best trick ever! I curled my eyelashes, DIDN'D use mascara, and they stayed up ALL day! Thanks!

Virginia Wiles: This is awesomeeee. I always say that if we could only have one makeup product, I would go with mascara bc doing your eyelashes brings out the natural beauty of ANYONE’s eyes. And let’s be honest ladies, ppl pay attention to pretty eyes! Question though: does anyone else have issues with mascara residue under your bottom lashes? Using a primer DEFINITELY helps but for some reason, I still haven’t found a “works every time” solution for it. Thoughts anyone???

Mitzi Gutierrez: Yup, bn doing this for some years ☺️ i spray hairspray onto a brush n use that instead of a primer but use the brush to set my eyebrows first and use the rest for the lashes then curl again before mascara. Works ‍♀️

song destroyer: As a boy all I can say is thank you for doing all that stuff. We would never do such this things and to be honest I don't think we could be dedicated enough for that

Amarachi Oji: This was surprisingly so dope and useful…even for baby lashes like min ❤️

AMY K: Oh my God what a great video. The technique is amazing I'm going to try it and the other thing that I really want to get is the dark primer. I've been using a white primer. Thank you so much I love the look

Hotcheetos: I thought I was the only one that warmed up my curler with my blow dryer ! It makes a huge difference!

H: Straight to the point. No waffle. No nonsense. I'm definitely going to subscribe.

Priya Shah: I've always hated falsies so thank you for the tips and tricks in this video

Amanda Nicholas: Iv done all this for years EXCEPT. the lash primer. I need to try that. Thanks for the tip! <3

TheDamnedRose 666: Learned this tip as a teen. Used to get loads of compliments on my lashes (back in the late 90s) before falsies were a thing.

The Stallion from Saffle: I need to try this. I bought fake lashes and was so excited to apply it, but I guess I'm blessed with pretty long lashes, because I realized that my normal lashes was just as long, so if I do this technique it might look fierce!! I need to try!

Wendy Clark: I would love to see you test waterproof mascaras after all-day wear, to see which doesn't flake or smudge. I can't tell you how many mascaras I have tried: smudge proof, flake proof, waterproof and I have yet to find a mascara that stays put all day!  Thank you for sharing your great makeup tips.

Cjay j: I really love Lash Paradise but it dries out so quickly. I never pump the wand but it only lasts 3 or 4 weeks max before it dries out and clumps on me. And eyelash curlers are so underrated. I can tell immediate difference when I use one. Good stuff.

Sabine Maroun: Thank you for the tips! I will use that same technique next time I go out.

ldbagge: Omg I have done this forever! Never told anyone bc they'd think i was insane but ... I also sometimes blow-dry my lashes as I apply if the mascara is really wet. Makes them so long.

wendy greenaway: I have just tried this hack and the result is great! I will use it from now on. Thank you!

J.L. Nelson: Loved the video! I just quickly looked up your videos and you have a new subscriber! I can't wait to watch them. I'm turning 50 in a few weeks and have hooded lids (never had them when I was younger).

Emily Kaiser: I bought my primer and mascara at the $1 tree store. Both work great! Then I curl last. Make sure to let primer dry 1st.

IDK BOOP: I love having long eyelashes and this looks amazing! Yet hate the feeling of mascara on them thats why I wear falsies. But if I decide to wear mascara I definitely will try this out ❤️

Chandrani Mazumdar: I hate applying false lashes. This takes the game to another level. You are truly talented in your field.

Daniela Jeronimo: I have the same mascara. Yess it is amazing and it does change to looks of your lashes! leaves them looking bomb

Candace J: My lashes are already short and curly. So this might not work for mine, but this looked so amazing. Very Pretty.

JenJones: Can appreciate this tutorial but I would never exchange my quick, easy and wow false lashes for this technique. Eyelash curler can be a painful contraption to use, and can damage your lashes (have used for years!)...and these steps look time consuming. Then you have to deal with washing all of this off, another pain. False lashes are so quick and easy if you know how to apply them.

Alicia Rodriguez: I will be using this everyday this is so helpful and my lashes look so good

Pamela A. Brooks: Use safety pin to separate lashes for perfection! :)

Constance Morris: Thank you this sounds and looks like a very good process!

Sidra Ali: Wonderful technique . Definitely gonna try this . As I don't apply falsies .. Thanks a bundle babe ❤️

Jenny Tijerina: I've always warmed up my lash curler with a lighter...hopefully more people will use this routine
