No More Bald Caps! Natural Install Technique For Laying Your Lace Front Wig Ft Myfirstwig Bob

I don't know about you guys, but the bulkhead method takes way too much time, and i don't want to do that. Every time i install a unit stay tuned in this video, i'm gon na show you an easy way for laying your wigs and making it look natural without using the ball cap. So guys. I just showed you all the things that came in my unit as you can see, this unit does come bleached and pre-plucked. Now it's plucked, but it's not plugged in my liking. So i'm gon na go ahead and just pluck it a little bit more. But you don't have to plucking is always a matter of preference, i'm just kind of showing you guys the method i use to pluck my units because i know there's still some people out there who just still aren't comfortable with plucking their units - and this is the Method that i've found to be the easiest way for you to visibly see what areas of the hairline needs to be plucked. Now i didn't wash this unit straight out the box. I typically only wash my curly unit straight out the box, and this is a method. I like to use when i prep my units like the night before or whatever just to kind of, get it to lay down if it's not laying in the right direction. Water in a comb is all you need to get that hair to sleep down to your liking. Now, for this install, i decided i was not going to do any baby hairs. However, i did want to do the method that i like to use that gives like that little natural baby hairs, but not really baby hairs, because if we all look at our natural hair lines, there are some forms of little short hairs along the front, and we Don'T necessarily call them baby hands, but this is what i do so. I took some of the moves laid it down and then set it with the elastic band that came with this unit, and then i left it to dry. Okay, it's the next day. Now i'm ready to install this unit, as i mentioned. Oh, i forgot to mention this unit is from my first wig, and this is their 12 inch a bob. So i'm letting you see what the scalp part looked like on this unit. First straight out the box, and now what i'm going to use instead of using the ball cap, is taking this lace, tinting spray and i'm going to simply spray that along the part and space of the unit. And that is going to help. Give me like an evening coverage that will help camouflage the stocking cap underneath so that it doesn't show through, as that seems to be what we typically experience and see a line of demarcation. Next, i'm going to cut the lace on this unit. Now i do want to go ahead and tell you about the lace that my first wig use. They do not use hd lace, but, as you can see, their lace is very much clear and see-through. They use swiss lace, which they call the hd swiss, because they feel like it's a lot more stronger and durable than the regular hd lace and because their units are made for beginners. This is the lace they prefer to go with. So after the lace is cut and i am going to go ahead and proceed and cut some of the lace along the ear tabs just to ensure the lace fits on my face nice and snug. Next, i'm going to proceed and clean my face and i use peroxide. I don't really like to put alcohol on my face because it's very drying and then for this install - i will be using the bold hold liquid gold, which is not a glue. It'S not a gel, it's not a hairspray, i don't really know what's in it, but it's going to hold your wig and it's and it's going to make it lay now. The benefits of the bow hold that i like over the hairspray is that i feel like it gives more of that glue, melted look. However, i do feel like the hairspray is a little faster to use just because the liquid gel takes a little bit longer to dry. So after i put a good amount of the liquid gel along my hair lines, i'm just going over it with the comb and i'm melting, the lace in with the liquid gold, and i'm just going on top of that with my hair dryer to get it to Dry um, so that is nice and secure. Now, as you guys can see, there are some little white patches afterwards from the liquid gold, and i like to just go on top of that with a damp rag to clean it all up and, as you guys can already see, this lace is already looking melted And i didn't even put the elastic band on, but i am gon na put the elastic band on and you know we're gon na, let that sit for about five to ten minutes, but your girl was hungry. Okay, i bought some faux from hot and juicy. So while we wait for this unit to lay down i'm going to give you a little asmr, okay, it's been 10 minutes now. It'S time i took the elastic band off and you guys can already see that this hairline is looking very natural and there is no ball cap. I am going to take my concealer slash foundation and just kind of lightly go along the edge of the hairline just to clean that all up and, as you guys can already see, this is giving melt. Okay, it's giving natural is giving lace wear, and this is not hd lace who ball cap. What we don't need it we don't know her and we don't want to do it anymore. Okay, so now i'm going to just kind of cut like these little slide. Burners i'll say little side versus. I really mean little fibers because i am like i said, going for a natural non baby hair look, and since this is a bob, i am going to use my two inch flat iron. Now i love this two inch flat iron. I think it's way better than the typical one inch, because it allows you to flat iron, your hair in like half the time. It is also perfect for when you want to kind of like slightly bend the ends without giving that grandma band on the ends, because i don't really like to really bump my ends too much, and this flat iron does the job perfectly and, as you guys can See it's looking all nice and sleek on the side and i'm going to continue and flat iron the rest of this unit. Next, i'm going to go on top of the unit using my faithfully asian beauty, rustic and i'm going to take my hot comb and, as you can see, i lift the top of the hair on the left side. Simply because i don't want to take the hot comb and press it all the way down, because a lot of times when you do that and the track is underneath, it gives you that line of the track. Underneath you guys, y'all know what i'm talking about. If you don't want to see that line, just lift the hair up, as you take the flat iron and that is going to solve the problem. Okay, so now that i'm done flat ironing here, your girl is almost just about ready, but let's get into the part, because that part is looking a little jagged. Now some people like to use black hairspray with the tail of a comb to clean up the parting space. I prefer to use this root color instead, because i feel it's a lot easier to use, especially when using it on yourself, because it prevents the mistake of that hairspray going on the lace and then that's a whole nother problem. You got to deal with so after i did that i just put some gloss on top of the hair and your girl was good to go now. I didn't put any concealer in the parting area simply because, if i'm being honest, i forgot - and the reason i forgot is because it looks so good in real life, but in looking at those films, as i edit this video it looks like i could stand to Put some concealer, even though that's not what it was given in real life. So i do want to let you guys see that if you do add the concealer, this is the difference the concealer will make. It would make it look a little bit more clean, but in all actuality in real life, this unit looked so natural. It looked like a natural part in space that i normally have, because my natural part in space is not really clean. It is kind of jagged. It is kind of you know not messy, sometimes with wigs. We go for perfection, and perfection is not really natural and it's not really realistic, but it's all about what you like, and you know your girl is going to give you the options to choose. What'S best for you, so i'm going to turn around real quick and let you guys see what the back of this unit looks like and the hairline it speaks for itself and guys. Why do we need a ball cap again? Can someone please remind me because this look as natural as it gets? You don't have to deal with the ball cap. All you need is a quality unit with good lace and you're good to go.
