We Did Floor Length Knotless Braids

Is hey guys, welcome back to my channel so today we're going to be showing you guys this beautiful floor length, noteless braids that we did. This was a size medium. Sorry, if my voice sounds a bit hoarse, i'm literally doing this um voice over edits at like 4 a.m. I have a flight to catch um anyways, so we did the. What do you call it the floor line, braids and honestly? Okay, so she came at a day where we were very busy, so we didn't have enough stylish. You guys know we usually put like on these lengths of braids. We usually put like five people on the hair um just to save time. You know for ourselves and as well as a client, and they always appreciate it. However, but on the day that she did, you know, come to do our hair. Unfortunately, it was one of like our busiest days um and it took so long. I felt so bad. So we had like three stylists working on the hair honestly and it was not enough um, you need more hands when it comes to hair like this, because, like not less early, is very time consuming and then, when the length is now exaggerated, it's even more time Consuming so on average to get this hairstyle knocked out like if you wanted to do it in like three hours four hours, you need at least like five stylists five stylist max. If you want to be quicker, maybe seven, but that's a lot. So i would say five max, so you have some people starting. You have some people doing the mid braiding to the end, and then you have some people doing the trimming and everything. So you just kind of divide and conquer the um techniques and braiding service. I mean braiding that you have to do get in here, so the lead stylist on this service. They were gift and miriam so gift and miriam. They they're very versatile right, so they do like knotless braids. They do twist um they do locks. Well, gift does locks miriam does twist and they do not list. So that's like the area of like special. You know specialties so um, it's really cool um, so anyways, the ones that are leading this hairstyle and throughout maybe like the end of the service. Um we'll have more hands available to join them, so you guys get to see the other, i'm stylist, helping them as well in between um, so guys this hair was so long that i couldn't fit it in the frame fully. So i apologize that i'm cutting the top half of her head off. I just it was so long that i could not fit the entire length of the hair in the bri in the screen get in here. I remember when i was still in dallas. I had a client come in and she wanted to do like small uh, knotless braids, but like below button, and i had to do that by myself. Although it came out so beautiful, it took such a toll on my body that literally the next time she called and she's like. Oh, she wants to do the same hairstyle again i was so like. I almost wanted to go start. What i like it wasn't even about the money at that point, because it was so like it hurt. My body, like you, know doing it by yourself, so i can't even imagine it. So, that's why i absolutely love nigeria and how like stylists work together, because almo this work is not beams um at the time for like below bot length. I think i charged her like 550 550 dollars, which was honestly. I felt like i undercharged myself on that, and you know probably why she wanted to come back again, but honestly, anything below a thousand for this particular event that we're doing right now. As you can see, it's really sweeping the floor. Anything like below one thousand dollars is a steal, so let me know how much you would charge for this. Would you even do this because, like i know there are some styles that would tell you no like they're not doing that length because they know the amount of work and when they want to actually charge you for it, you're not gon na. You know you're, not gon na think it's worth it because you're not gon na understand how much school we could take on someone's body but um in nigeria. Here obviously, like i explained to you guys in my previous video pricing, is so different like, like you, obviously cannot charge the same that you charge. You know in the u.s. You know for obvious reasons, but it's just so insane how like, depending on where you live, it depends on how much you earn. That makes sense. So it's just very it's such an annoying thing, but it's something i've gotten used to. I don't do conversions anymore. I used to do that and it just make you depressed, so it's not even worth it so just live where you are charge, where you, you know, whatever you charge in your area and your currency whatever and enjoy your life but um yeah, so for this particular Service, so we did medium medium, knotless, braids, um below knee length. Ankles. Let me see yeah baloney length was like 40. I believe yeah. I was like 40 45 40 to 45k, even though mistake yeah 40 to 45, and then on top of that she also purchased uh four packs of braiding hair. Mind you guys. Only four packs of our musee looks. Pre-Stretch here was able to get her this length. Now, granted that we did not do um small parting because of the length we did bigger parts for medium. So that way we didn't have to use too much hair and it was you know, a bit easy on her, so we literally only use four packs. First of all, i'm so sorry about the um sizing of the video um. I know it's given youtube 2001, but i apologize trying to fit the length of the hair in the screen. I wanted you guys to really get the feel for how long this hair was like. I felt like cropping it out, would not do it justice, so i wanted you guys to see so i'm sorry um but yeah you guys back to what i was saying. So we used four packs of our mostly luxe pre-stretched hair. In the color 1b 27613. We concentrated the 613 color at the bottom um. So that way she was able to get that. You know perfectly seamless, ombre look for this um service. Oh you guys. Look at that hair, so beautiful, like honestly, i've had long hair before and mine wasn't as long as this, and it was like it looks so good because everything is more. You know more dramatic and you know it's a vibe, but i don't know how people do this because i literally was holding my neck, but my own was even very stupid because we used like six packs for like blow butt length, hair like that was way too Much hair on my small head anyways. So i'm sure hers is not as heavy, but the thing is, when you not put it in hot water, not add you know added weight to the hair, so you have to be very like careful making sure that you don't use too much hair on this kind Of services, so you always want to make your parting size a bit bigger, um, so yeah you guys we're almost rounding up right, so we're doing the trimming and all that good stuff. You guys, i think, the hardest part of this hair. It was the nautilus, it was just normal, um box braids, and we didn't have to keep feeding here. You know in the beginning, it would have been much quicker. I think this hair probably took like seven eight hours for us to do, which is a long time for us, but for the length i think it's you know it's understandable um. However, we've done you know similar length for a shorter amount of time. So um, like i said she came on a day where we're really busy, so we didn't have enough available stylists to join in uh. So that's just you know sucks and i felt so bad because i don't want anyone sitting for that long, so yeah anyway. So how much would you charge for this service like what would you, what are your rates? How long would it take? Would you even do it? You know, let let me know, let's have a conversation so um. I don't want to do my conversions for how much we charge, because i don't want to cry, but probably all together, this hair was probably like 80, something dollars that we charge for this year in nigeria. Lagos, nigeria um girls grace next year when we officially open another branch in another continent and we'll be able to you know charge more for our. You know, services and quality and work. So, looking forward to that, however um - i absolutely love to say, i think it's beautiful um, she looks beautiful with this, like you, guys, are gon na see at the end so stunning, it just fits her and she wasn't she wasn't tall. So i think, maybe that's why too, like she wasn't she's, not she's, not tall she's, quite short, so if i was, if i was to put this hair on another, you know person of a different height, it may not even be as long as this. You know it may be like half, you know, lentil kneeling, no, not the kneeling, maybe below kneeling for sure, but it wouldn't be touching the floor. I think she's just a bit shorter, so it made it more. You know much longer get in here. So, do you guys see why it's important to use like a blow dryer like imagine doing this by yourself and after doing all the braids, you now have to go back in by yourself to trim, there's no way, you're not going to get lazy so having the Blow dryer just kind of reinforces that, like a little bit of stray hairs that you may miss so like get in the habits of using it, but if you're going to use the blow dryer make sure you use a blow dryer. That is old, that you don't really care about because it does wear it out quicker, so we always use like a blow dryer, that's like cheap, so so that way we don't ruin a perfectly good and expensive dryer. So you guys look at the inches on that hair. We literally had to use a bucket to dip this in hot water and because um we kind of poured the water in the hair. It made it a bit easier for us to actually dip the hair. So imagine if you had to dip this hair in hot water like how would that work? You know, like my method i used to use before, was to hold the cup. I run the cup through the hair um, but obviously that would not work for this. So this is just it's wow like it's so beautiful you guys, i'm having a moment like this. Is such a look like if you have like an event you want to go to, but you want to wear a brace, but you want your brace to stand out. Definitely definitely get long braids, but experiment with color. So that way, it's oh, my god, you guys hair is long, looks like spaghetti. So pretty, oh, my god. Oh my god gorgeous anyways. Let me know what you guys think about this hair. You know that they want just the same way you're entitled to your everyday boring, braids they're, also entitled to their own exciting experimental braids.
