Raquel Welch Longing For Long R11S+ Glazed Mocha

Hi, thank you for tuning in and uh today, we're going to cover raquel welch's longing for long and glazed mocha. This is definitely not a new piece been around for a while um. So, let's get down to it. This is a synthetic piece, not heat friendly uh. She has a double or i'm sorry, she does not have a double one or top. She has a full mono top um with this sort of cap underneath um she's got the extended nape and the felt line ear tabs. So she is um. So if you're looking for long pieces - and you are - if you looked at this one and miles of style - which i have a mild style too - i just i actually had it for over a year - i just have yet to do a review on her, so um Yeah but um, if you are doing comparisons, this one uh miles style has a single mono part left side and um is longer than this one uh, but this one, if you want beachy waves, this is the piece that you want to get um miles of style. I'M only using for comparison has because when i was looking for wigs, i did a lot of comparing of what does this one look like. What does that look like that? One has more of a glamorous wave and this is beachy waves. So, let's talk about her. She is beautiful, absolutely love her um. You i like that. You can part her from anywhere. I wear this to work. Um i've been wearing this to work, pulled back um like every day i didn't work. So uh has many issues i even use um. I posted a picture a couple pictures on my instagram with my hair out back and one with like a cute little bandanna on top, and you could see some hair poking out and the idea of it was to show you know how good the lace front is See - and i have - and you guys know that i like to meddle with my wigs and um - i have not. I did just pluck the hairline a little bit because of the color and how it looks up there, but i've not done anything to this hairline. It looks fantastic in this lighting. I did the zigzag cutting on it, which i might change. I don't know if i like that personally, i know everyone says do that my wigs have not. My lace is not unraveled and all the pieces that i don't have that done so personally, i don't think that has to be done to keep preserve your lace front, but this one looks pretty good. I, if i could just keep doing this all day, i would not have an issue with this wig and i'm going to get to that um in a second, but she's very she's got a lot of hair, so um she has like she has that pillowy feeling That i've talked about before that. I personally am not a fan of i like it when um a wig like my brianna um, what other one like my showstopper, my envy, brianna my recall, slow, stopper, uh, alexis by jon renau. All of those um, you know, feel very close to my head. I like that this one has a little bit of pillowiness. It'S not bad um, but if you are someone like me who has thin hair your whole life, you don't always get used to that extra volume. So it's not to say, like you know, if i always say like i'm gon na thin, her just a little bit and i might but i don't know guys. I just run out of time to do things. Sometimes i used to have a lot more time to play with my wigs and then i had kid number four and then i you know life happens and the kids get older and you know so uh. I just run out of time, but you know she feels fantastic. She gets she pulls back very easily. I can pull her up in a bun and it doesn't look ridiculous um. It doesn't look like overly poofy, you know um wood, but i mean if you, if you do want to thin your waist. I recommend doing it closer to the base not like here and here and here like. Do it all the base, because that's where the thickness is because it has um they just they add a little bit of that permatease to hide the wefting um see if i could show it to you right now and some ways do that, like i have an Alessandra and honestly, i feel like i have a big helmet head mushroom head when i wear that um because of that extra thickness, so i'm not gon na be able to see this, but this is, if you see you see my horrible paint job i did on My nails um, i think it went away. So if you look up close to some of your wig, if you feel like they don't have permatease, but it feels billowy. This is why they add just they make the hair a little bit wirey at the base, and that gives it the volume it here. Maybe this is a better example. Do you see that right there, it's these little baby hairs. This is why, when you thin a wig, you need to thin it right there at the base. It takes longer. I'Ve done videos where i was like just throwing away, and i don't know if that's the best idea, i'm growing too i'm not a wig expert. I'M growing and learning about wigs, so um, i'm learning too, and luckily i film it all so you can see my disasters and know what not to do but um this. That'S what gives it that pillowy feeling is all those little hairs that they do at the base where the wefts are and there's little short hairs like this in their little curly wire root hairs to give it volume. So, if you're going to thin it out - which i really should for this one, because this one i love this beachy weight, but it's just a little too much hair. For my comfort, i feel like barbie, like i'm trying to look like you know, barbie. When i wear this down, um pulled back, it doesn't look bad at all, but um down it. Just i feel a little subconscious because look i mean if you like big texas heads would be perfect for you perfect, you won't have to touch it, but for people like me who aren't using the switch here, it just makes me a little more self-conscious um. But this hair - it's not! This wig is not really layered, maybe like there's some layers here and here, but that's it. So if you want, you know, get face framing layers um, but it really just has this relaxed curl um. This would be one of those pieces where i don't know if you work for a long time and you need to get refurbished um, you know it'd be hard to keep this relaxed wave pattern in. So just keep that in mind. As far as pricing goes um. How to extend the life? You know pull this back, don't let it rub against the back of the seat when you're driving, but anything you can do to extend the life of this or just have lots of wigs like i do so, none of them are ever gon na go bad because They don't get worn very much but um you know i don't it would be hard. I haven't learned that maybe one day i will learn how to um use steam on a wig um to regenerate it, make it look good and how to replicate these curls. I can barely use a curling iron. I try and i just don't know how these professionals do it, but they do a fantastic job and i, like i feel, like a child, you know a little kid trying to learn doing hair. So that's why i like synthetics, because they already have this pattern put in and it looks like this looks natural, but it doesn't. You know it doesn't look like bed head natural or like like just ratty hair natural, like it's beautiful beach, wave, curls um, just absolutely gorgeous it's. You know. I don't know how to describe these on a professional level, but you could say these are very. I don't even want to say a deconstructed curl, i want to say these are just relaxed waves, like maybe so like a couple days ago, you had your hair all pretty for date, night and curly, and you haven't washed it and it's relaxing and that's kind of What these look like, so they're, absolutely gorgeous um. I love this. I just it's summer and um it this wig. I wear it at work some inside all day, but the thinking of wearing this out in public as hot as it feels. Maybe that's why i don't wear it as much when i'm not working, because it just feels hotter up here kind of like zara and i sold zara. I don't want to sell this. I love this piece too much, but i sold zara because she was so thick up here. It was hot and it just looked very mushroom head like, and so she had to go and then i replaced her with um kaya so anyways. These are these fantastic beach wave, curls um. Look at that. You know that blend. You can see the lace right there, but then, when i'm not pulling it back it blends, you know if you use a little bit of got to be glue or not even that, like it stays. Look how beautiful that blends back. So let's talk about this color, i'm going to talk about like why did some plucking and everything so this color is glazed mocha. This is just you know, a brunette with this um, you know caramel highlighting this is. This is a warm piece if you're looking for ashy you're, not gon na like her but um. This is this is a warm piece, so um keep that in mind, but i mean you can tell this is warm pretty much but uh yeah. These highlights are, just are golden and not even, i wouldn't even say, they're coppery, but they're they're golden caramel highlights on brunette hair. I would say this is like a six um yeah, probably like a six or no probably like an eight, i'm gon na say this is like an eight rooting uh, it's 29. What is r11 r11 plus r11s plus, i think, is glaze mocha. So um shows how much i know it's not even an eight they consider this 11.. To me it looks darker than 11, because 11 is just a shade darker than the 12 rooting and malibu blonde. So um, that's i don't know. I'D have to do a comparison up close, but this seems darker than that, but anyways, that's what it is. So it shows how much i know um and then the the plus is the glazed portion and recall. Welch has a lot of different colors like glaze hazelnut glazed sand, glazed strawberry, glazed, some other ones that are glazed, and they all have this um. They all have this highlighting on top okay. So i had a change that gives the sun a setting and this starting to affect my background, so apologize for that. Just i want to keep make sure you guys can see this color up close so yeah. You can see all this beautiful highlighting and this would look good on a lighter complected if you are um hispanic or black. This would look gorgeous on you. You look perfect in your complexion, so don't be afraid and think that this is just for lighter, lighter complected individuals. This will look good on darker skin tones for sure um. But the thing is with glazed mocha and you know like with any non-rooting color is the um. So, let's see you can see how the parting is not quite clear because the because there's no rooting so oh words, blonde you know the highlight is okay, but then, when there's dark, you know, when you look at the cap, you can see they have the dark Everywhere and so to break that up and make it look more realistic. You'Ve got to pluck some of the brunette hair to make that look more realistic and add some powder and so honestly, sometimes like at work, because sometimes you know as a nurse like right, open people's faces. I wear a banana a lot of work because i'm actually insecure about this um, this wig and that parting space, because it doesn't quite look natural. I did some plucking so um. It'S uh, i might have like moved. The hairline already moved my parting space, but you know right out there. It looks awesome. Like you know, i mean i could probably just like pull my hair back like that. You know, and it would look fine, but when you can see that parting space that it starts making me self-conscious their lace front is phenomenal, but the parting because of that brown, you just you've, got to break it up by doing some plucking to make it look More realistic, so um, that's my only thing with this um, the fibers, so the fibers they don't feel like human hair, they're, not um. You know they. You do have to make sure you take good care of this foot conditioner not too much product. But just you know finger comb it throughout the day because the body is tingling, the fibers feel like synthetic. I wouldn't say they feel amazing, but that doesn't mean it's not a good wig. It'S just it's just another wig a different style of different hair. Color um. You know to try out to add to your wardrobe that um to give a shot and um. Let'S see this cap, i didn't mention this, but i have my head is just under 21.5 inches. So it's on the smaller side and this cap fits me perfectly. There'S like i mean i me i i wouldn't even say i need to remove a wedge if i was going to there's, like maybe one extra weft of space, but that's not a bad thing, so this cat fits me perfectly. So if you have a larger head, a medium size, it would work, you would have to let out the adjusters and it would work um unless your head is misshapen in a different way, but for the most part i think medium size. But i don't think this would fit a big head. So keep that in mind um. Let me do a 360 for you and wrap this up. So so she looks like 360. beautiful hair. She just needs to get cleaned a little bit because she feels hot, so um other than that. I really love this piece um. These waves are just very sexy and relaxed and like effortless beauty and i'm all about making it look like. I didn't put a lot of effort into my beauty, so um so anyways. I hope this video was helpful and thank you for watching.

Christine: I love that the glazed mocha is a bit darker than the shaded cappuccino. Very pretty on you. I can't believe you can wear virtually every color! And the beauty of this style is the waves start at the jawline.

Cathy Woodill: Beautiful color, I’ve never tried that color, you look very gorgeous in this!

Standardbred Adventures: The lace front looks really nice.

Victorious Vikki: It looks like a little bit longer Estetica Avalon . She is beautiful on you!

L S: When I was a kid I used to watch a cartoon called Lady Lovely Locks and it had a girl who would change her hair, and now as an adult I watch Lady Luvely Locks who does the same lol kinda ironic
