Nuola Wigs Review- Lauren Lace Front

Hello, everybody and welcome back to my youtube channel on the art of alopecia. I hope you are all doing well and thriving in life. For those who don't know me, my name is marcy and i have an autoimmune condition called alopecia universalis and basically, what that means is my immune system mistakenly attacks, my hair follicles, and that is why i am completely bald and balding throughout my body and the reason For starting this youtube channel is just to continue raising awareness and also helping in supporting others dealing with hair loss, while also trying to normalize baldness um. So you know when i post next anyways now that we have covered all of the housekeeping things that we needed to let's get into the actual purpose behind this video. So for those who know me and who follow me on instagram know that i'm absolutely obsessed with wigs, but they will all know that i'm obsessed with one wig in particular, because i rave about it on my instagram all the time, and that is my nuella wig. It'S my sophia: it's like the beautiful full lace brown with some nice nice subtle highlights it's the long one that i always love curling anyway. So, yes, i'm going to be reviewing yet another wig from nuella wiggs and i'm going to be um focusing on the lauren wig nuella was kind enough to gift me this wig to review for you all on my channel. So i am absolutely honored and thankful um. This is a company that is based in the uk, specifically in london. Don'T quote me on it. I think i looked at a map and they were in london, not 100 sure, but they are somewhere in the uk and they create the most realistic hairlines that i have ever seen, and i'm actually embarrassed to say that i only found out about them about a Year and a half ago, i wish that i had known about them like years back, because this would have this would have changed my life. I have never seen a wig that is so realistic, one that i can put into a high pony one that i can french braid it's just my sophia is amazing, and this lauren is a complete contrast to my sofia. It'S more of a blonder wig um, which i love. I love brunette. I love blonde. I love all hair colors, but yeah i'm going to be doing a full review and an unboxing um for you guys today and i can honestly say that my review is going to be 100 positive because i love this company. So much and obviously you can tell from my face - i cannot stop smiling. I am so happy to be in this position showing you guys this gorgeous gorgeous wig, okay. So, let's start with the unboxing. So this is the beautiful box that it comes into. They are so incredibly sturdy and a great way to store your wigs. They have a magnetic um a magnetic board right here, so it does magnetize to this to keep it shut. Unfortunately, mine got damaged in the mail which i'm super upset about, but i have another one that came with my sofia that wasn't like this. It'S just you know the uk, canada. It was a far trip. I understand um, but i would have loved it to maybe not be broken, but that is okay, don't worry, it's still a box. I can still like tape. It down. No worries, okay. So what is inside this box? So, of course, there's the wig, but i have already taken it out um. There is a little thank you card and their thank you. Cards are the cutest. It says thank you xo, and then it has the newella website, nuella um instagram and the nuella, the nuella website, which is handy, and then it gives you a little explanation on how to pick how to put your wig on how to take care of your lace Front the do's and the don'ts, which is very, very extremely helpful, especially if you are new. I know that when i got my sofia, the first nuella wig that i got i was so petrified because i know that they don't last as long as silk tops, because the lace is very delicate um. So having this was an absolute lifesaver. I want to say just because i was so scared and i didn't know what to do with it. Um and another thing that comes with it is a wig cap. Of course we love a good wig cap now. The last thing that came in the box, which is actually storing my wig right now, is this gorgeous satin nuella wig bag. These drawstring bags are absolutely amazing for storing your wigs again um the box, yes, but also these things, because you can just hang them up in your closet or they're good for traveling as well. It'S just a really great alternative for storing your wigs, because when you got a lot of wigs and you invest in these high quality wigs, you want to make sure that they are taken care of when you are not wearing them. Okay, guys. I think it's time to finally take her out of the bag. I almost forgot the word bag. Okay, so here she is. This is the beautiful lauren, the thing that i love about nuella wigs when you um, when they get delivered to you, they always smell. So amazing and they always come curled or like a bit, waved of course they probably curled it and it probably started to wear off on its way here. But again, this just goes to show i've had this wig for about two weeks now and i've tested it out um and it probably took about a week to arrive. So this just goes to show how amazing you know. Hot tools are on these wigs because they hold so nicely okay, so i'm just on their website. I wanted to give you guys a bit of information on the lauren wig. If you are interested so first off she's 22 inches long, which is literally the dream, come true, she is a hundred and eighty in density, which i think is the perfect, perfect density. For me. It'S very subtle, very natural and lays flat on my head um, she's, 100 human hair um, so her hair color. She has this beautiful, subtle light brown dark root, which i'm obsessed with um and, of course it's just like a beautiful blonde, beautiful blonde wig. I don't know colors, but it's a gorgeous blonde. You can, you can give it a name um, but it's kind. It kind of reminds me of when you see someone's hair prior to summer and then, when you see someone's hair at the end of summer and how light it got due to you know the sun's light, just beautiful um. So the lace is a translucent swiss lace. So it's not the hd lace, so this wig is very different from my sofia. It'S similar in ways but different in others um. So i believe, i'm not really sure what the difference is. I think hd lace is invisible, so you can't see it on any skin. Color um - and i think this is this - might be a bit more visible, but still it's so amazingly natural. It'S amazingly even a word. I don't know, i'm gon na make it a word um, so on the inside again she's a little different from my sofia. So she is a front lace instead of a full lace, which is my sophia um. She has wefts at the back, and this just means that you have a little bit of limitations um on styling it because you may be able to see the wefts um, whereas it is full lace on my sofia um. She has the resistance band and you all know that i love resistance band. They are just so amazing and they have the adjustment straps with a comb right here. I'M not sure if there's any more information that i should tell you um. Oh yes, this is another important thing, so the hairline is pre-plucked. That'S what makes it so so so natural they actually take the time to pre-pluck the hairline, for you, guys, um and their knots are bleached to make it more realistic and they won't cut your lace unless you request for the lace to be cut. I personally don't love cutting my lace when it comes to like an expensive wig like this, so for my sofia and for this one i asked for the lace to be cut on both um and they did an amazing job and you can always cut more. Oh another important thing that i love about nuella: is they custom all of their wigs? So, yes, they have their main wigs that they create, but they create copies of each other um. So when you are ordering there is a custom field that you have to fill out and they ask if you're like a small medium large, you can always measure the circumference of your head, give them the exact measurements. Just this is just so that the wig fits perfectly on your head, um, which i find is just so amazing. I love that word. Amazing yeah! I just love how they are very specific to your head size, um, because a lot of wig companies, their sizes will range and they will have different sizes for each like. If you get a small at one wig shop, it might not fit as a small at another one. So if you give them your exact head circumference, then they can work to ensure that they create the perfect fit for your head, which is such just an amazing and generous feature, and i love how they create every wig custom to your head size um. So the lauren is uh um, one thousand four hundred and eighty six dollars and five cents in canadian um. So you can translate that to whatever currency you're in that isn't including tax, and another amazing thing about nuella is that they do offer 10 off for medical hair loss and when you are spending a lot of money on a wig 10 off is actually such an Amazing thing to have um and for those who don't have hair loss and who are interested in getting one of these nuella wigs. So without further ado, let's put this gorgeous one on. I am just going to adjust it accordingly. Oh and another thing i forgot to mention: they have this comfortable back, which is so comfortable. It'S kind of like a a nice soft felt so comfortable okay. So this is how i put it on. This is not normally how i put my wigs on um, but just because of the resistance band, i put it on like this and then i flip it over and i quickly flip this. Let'S adjust it accordingly, i'm going to pull it down. My forehead is not that large. Oh, my goodness, let's give it a brush, so it does come with a middle part. I will probably end up i'm switching it to a side part, because i can do that with my nuella wig, i'm just a more side, part kind of gal. Let me stand up and show you guys here she is. She is super duper long. I hope you can see this i'm against the wall. Oh my goodness, she is just amazing, like absolutely unreal um. So, as i said, the lace is already cut. I have already cut in my ear tabs, which i forgot to adjust for you guys. So this is the part and i haven't glued her down at all, so it lays super flat um and, as i said, i have been wearing her and i can tell you that she is extremely extremely comfortable and very light for the length that is on this. On this wig, you would think that it might be heavy, but it really isn't. It'S super duper light and the density is just absolutely perfect. Um and i have worn her outside. It is spring here in canada, so it's about 19 to 20 degrees, and i have been wearing her out and she hasn't, she hasn't fallen off. The resistance band is amazing. I haven't had to glue her down yet because i haven't really done any styling um, but even if you just want to put your um your hair, half up half down like it doesn't even lift at all. You could just put maybe tape on the ear tabs. Um but okay, so here's the hairline. This is the middle part, as you can probably depict. Let'S show you the hairline. I wish i had a jaw clip on hand, so very, very natural, with some um built-in baby hairs everywhere to make it that much more natural. The other side there you go, i don't think this is amazing. I wouldn't believe you, because this is the most this one and sophia, and all of nuella's wigs are literally so so realistic, just absolutely amazed blown away whatever you want to call it all of the amazing synonyms. I will put them down in this video um yeah. I i love the fact that i can say that i have my dream hair that i have always dreamt about. I thought when i got my sofia that was my dream hair until i got miss lauren in the mail and i was absolutely star struck um and my jaw just dropped literally just dropped. I wha i was so so happy. Something very important to mention is when you are looking and leaning more towards these full lace, half lace, basically wigs that are majority lace. You have to be aware that they won't last you as long as let's say, a silk top or a french top just because lace is so delicate, as i mentioned previously, and if you are wearing it every single day, it will start to tear. It will start to wear off um, so just keep that in mind. They are, i find cheaper than silk tops just because they don't last as long, but they are so incredible to have so. I would recommend, like let's say if you have like two or three wigs then start to like alternate between your wigs um, so that you can extend the lifetime. I'Ve had sophia for about for about a month no not a month for about a year now, and she is still looking amazing because i've only worn her. I want to say probably only like 10 to 20 times, maybe yeah 10 to 20 times um. I haven't really been able to wear any wigs outside because we have been in lockdown for like ever and ever and ever still are in lockdown over here um. But that's just something to note when you are looking towards. You know a cell top or a lace. I can say by far nuella wigs have the most outstandingly natural wigs that i have ever tried that i have ever found. I know there are a lot of companies that do similar things to nuella um, but i haven't tried them yet, but i can say with full honesty that this is the most incredible wig that i have ever had the pleasure of wearing. It is so incredibly soft. I don't know what kind of human hair it is, but i can tell you that i am putting my putting my fingers through this hair and there is no knotting. It is the perfect length, the perfect density, it looks so incredibly natural and i'm so excited to wear it this summer. I feel like this is like the perfect summer hair. Oh, my goodness. Excuse me for my bursting energy. I am just i'm such a fan. I am nuella's biggest biggest fan again. This is not to say that my other wigs aren't beautiful and realistic. It'S just. You can't beat this hairline, you can't it's just it's so impossible. What they do at nuella is just they are like magicians. They are wizards with wigs. I can say that was full honesty like i, i've had alopecia for so long, and i can. I have never found or come across a wig, this natural like absolutely not so nuella. I don't know what you guys are doing to make your wigs look so amazing, but i applaud you because you are probably changing the lives of so many individuals um, because your work is outstanding like it truly is guys. I hope you realize that nuella wigs aren't just for bald people. Absolutely not. You could have a full head of hair and still wear one of these wigs. If you have thinning hair, you can definitely wear these wigs. If you have alopecia areata, alopecia, universalis, alopecia, totalis, alopecia andrew androgenic, that one with the thinning hair, everyone can wear a nuella wig. It is for everyone, a man can wear a nuella wig. For goodness sake, anyone can wear it. Anyone can look good in one of them. They have such an amazing selection on their website all different lengths, all different prices, colors densities. You can customize your own wig if you've got like a crazy, rainbow hair color that you once did with your natural hair and then you've lost all your hair, and you want to recreate it well. Nuella can do that. Nuella can do anything.
