Persephone Wigs Review | U-Part Brazilian Deep Wave Wig

I cannot wait to put water and product in this wig. You have no idea hi. Everyone welcome back to slate secrets, youtube channel. I received away from persephone hair. They are an amazon prime vendor. They sent me a 16 inch, 150 density, u-part wig. They sent this wig through their own carrier, dhl, and it took about five to six days to get to me and the hair is finally here without further ado: let's open this box. So on the box it says persephone, wig and extensions, and then on this side it says fashion passes. Persephone remains i like that. I like that, a lot, so that's pretty much it. Let'S see what goodies we have in this box. Aside from the hair, this company does give wig caps, which is awesome, and they are nude wig caps at that, so these always come in handy. This gift is much appreciated. Besides the wig cap, we have the hair. So let's get this wig out of this bag. The wig also comes in a little neck, so let's take the net off, so the wig comes with a little tag: it's just their logo on it and on the back, it says, length 16, inches, color, natural color density 150, which we knew okay without further ado. Let'S get to the review okay, so as usual, first topic is initial shedding and i will do my normal comb through and this wig has no shedding. I didn't get any hair strands in my hands. There are no hair strands on the floor or on my lap. None of that this wig did not shed for me at all, so kudos to that next topic is toodling. This is supposed to be a 16 inch wig. You know i'm prepared. We can actually take out some here right from where the - u part begins. So i will say this: wig is layered. Here'S the! U part and i grab a section of hair, probably an inch across right and three track rows deep from the part. So we can measure that section. This is from the beginning of the track from the u part and that inch of hair that i grabbed to measure 16 is right here. So it's safe to say that this wig is true to length. It does reach the 16 inch mark from that section of hair that i grabbed. So when you let the wig hang freely, the hair ends extend to about 19 inches. The 19 inch mark is right here, but majority of the hair stops at. I will say about the 17 inch mark where you can't see through the hair, so they give you just about 16 to 17 inches of hair. So if you cut the hair ends, it will definitely give you a full looking wig, where you can't see through the hair at 16 inches so kudos to that. So the next topic is smell. The hair on this wig smells like brand new hair. It doesn't smell bad at all, so kudos to that. As far as texture, this hair feels nice and soft. It doesn't feel dry at all. They maintain the moisture in this wig very well and also, as you can see, i'm not having any issues combing. My fingers, through this hair, so it's safe to say that this wig is also tangle free. The hair pattern for this wig is brazilian deep wave and the density is 150. This hair has great volumes, it's very curly and the hair is big. I cannot wait to put gel in this hair. Add some water and some gel to get these curls popping. Okay, this is going to be super cute. You guys know. I love my curls. I cannot wait to put water and product in this wig. You have no idea, look at that. You cannot say these curls do not bounce there's, definitely volume in this leg. This look is cute and as far as the hair ends, as i mentioned before, you can see through the hair ends. I'M not a fan of that at all, so i will definitely cut the hair ends on this wig they got ta go, they have to go. This is unacceptable yeah. I am not feeling the hair ends at all, so i will cut the hair ends on this. Wig for sure these are the hair ends. You see how you can see through the ends. Yeah, these got ta go. This is not okay, i would say i will have to cut about an inch off of every layer of hair, because i want this wig to look healthy. I don't want to be able to see through the hair ends at all, so you got ta. Definitely do something about the hair ends for this wig. Okay. So let's talk about the wig structure, so here's the front of the wig. There is no lace. It is a! U part, it has two bands at the part section your natural hair or whatever hair you desire will come out of this area. If you really want you can buy your own lace, part and place it in this area to make this wig a full lace. Wig, you can actually purchase a lace, wig part and place it in this area to make this a full wig with a lace parting space. So it's up to you, you can do whatever you want with the wigs that you buy. So you have options. If you are concerned that your natural hair is not going to match the texture of this hair, i'm one of those people - i have naturally 4c hair, and this hair texture is between a 3a or 3b curl pattern, which is nowhere near my natural kinky, curly coily Hair pattern, so i might look into getting a lace parting space to fill in this gap or other options for this wig for sure, because when you have two different hair patterns and hair colors on top of that, it will definitely stand out. So you don't want to look crazy out there: okay, but anyways. This is the front of the wig. So let's go ahead and fold this wig inside out, okay. So this is the front of the lace but the inside structure. This is the parting space, where you would leave your hair out and those stretchy bands right. You could probably cut these little bands off. If you wanted to it's completely up to you, it's your wig. You can do anything that you want with it when you buy it, so at the parting space they give you three wig clips, one on the left side, one on the right side and one in the center. So that is awesome and then also on the sides. They give you the actual wig clips that you can clamp onto your head. So this is a true wig clip see and they give you one on each side. So there's another one on this side as well. So these two true wig clips and then in the back of the wig. They give you another one of those wig clips with the wig straps and on the very bottom. There are little hooks that you can hook the wick straps to to adjust the size of the cap. Now the cap itself is made out of lace. This cap should be very breathable. I'M not sure that this wig cap is big head friendly, but we will definitely confirm that when i try it on boy talk about security, i've never come across a hair vendor from amazon that gives you six wig clips already installed in a wig and two of Them can actually clamp to your scalp for extra security. So that's what's up, this company is all about wig security, and i love it. Another thing that i will mention is that this is the front of the wig right, so along your hairline. They did loop the track around under the cap, so here there's actually hair sewn in on the inner portion of the wig cap on both sides. That will also help the hair look a little bit more natural, but with this kind of wig you don't want to pull your hair up and back anyway. So that's pretty much it about this wig. This wig is super different and unique, and i love that about this company. So let's go ahead and try this wig on okay guys. So i have the wig on and wow. This is a lot of hair. This wig is very full. I love the curl pattern. I'M telling you when you slap some gel and water on this baby, all is good. All is good. Okay, one thing that i will say about this wig is that it is squeezing my head, so this wig is not big, hip friendly for someone who has thick hair or long hair, and you have it braided up under your wig cap or whatever situation you have Going on under your wig, this is not a big head friendly wig. Definitely something to consider when you are placing an order initially for this wig other than that this wig has so much potential. I made it into a middle part wig, because this wig is literally symmetrical from the. U part. So if you move it to the right or if you move it to the left as a part wig for either side, the length will look longer on one side and shorter on the other side, depending on which way you put the part, you can do what You want, but for this wig i personally will keep it as a middle part. Wig i mean i can show you so if we move it this way you can see. The sizing is different, like this side looks a lot more longer than this side mess with it and see how it works for you. If you want to do a part, i'm one of those who love doing deep side parts. So i completely understand, but for this wig as it is with me, i will be keeping it as a middle part wig. I will say that i love love, love all of the wig security in this wig. Thank you so much persephone for having all the security. I don't feel like if i get in trouble or if i dance a little bit too hectically your girl likes to whip her hair or whatnot. You know when i'm having fun, but i definitely feel like this. Wig will stay on my head. So that's! What'S up, we don't need to relive memories of wigs falling off of our head because they weren't secure. So this way you don't have to worry about that. There'S plenty of security. It should not not. It should not fall over your head. Give you some hope right. There, okay, so overall, i'm rating this wig and eight out of ten losing one point, because it is not big head friendly and then losing another point because we have to get rid of these ends. The ends are bad, so i don't like cutting the hair on my wigs, i, like my length, i, like my volume, but this wig is definitely going to be the cut. The wig that you receive might be just fine, it might not need a cut, it might need a cut. It all depends on what you receive. My experience might be different from your experience. Definitely sharing with you everything and as for my experiences that i have for any of these ways that i review i'm definitely sharing with you guys, 100, but other than those two things. This wig has a lot of potential, i'm loving it i'm excited and we will definitely figure out a few things to make sure that this wig works for me. So we got some work to do so.
