So um they're, not gon na, be a positive way review. Hi beauties welcome back to my channel. So today I am here with another wig review. I haven't done one in a while, but unfortunately this will not be such a positive one. I debated making this video because I really only wanted to do like good reviews of wigs that you should buy, but it doesn't make sense to not warn you of wigs that you should second-guess. So I decided to record this wig review, so this wig review is on the company Webster wigs and I first heard about this company from Instagram. It'S somehow pops up in like my Explorer page or something, and I'm like. Oh, my god that wig looks so good and I clicked on the Instagram page and saw all the wigs available and I'm like, oh my god, these wigs look like they were made with love they're, so beautiful and they're so different, and they just look so my Style and they come in so many colors non-conventional colors - that normal lace front, wigs, do not come in and also a lot of people were giving very positive reviews about it. So of course, I hopped onto the website and purchased one. Where do I want to begin? I guess we'll start with the whole price of it all. First off this company is based in the UK, but luckily on the website. It has a couple of options for conversions. It has the British Pound, the US dollar, the Euro, the Canadian dollar and the Australian dollar, and when you click on it, all the prices automatically convert with you, which i think is a plus the way that I purchased. I had to go back into my order. History, because, unfortunately, this color in this style wig is not available anymore. The Styles come and go and the colours come and go so you have to be on the lookout for when certain Styles come back. If you follow his Instagram they'll tell you when certain wigs do come back. The style that I got is an Ariel and Ariel is available, but the color rooted champagne blonde is not available. I went on the website this morning and I cannot find this color in this week, but the week the style itself is still available. Let me correct that the style Ariel is still available too, not in the specific color which is rooted. Champagne blonde. So this way is under the ultimate lace front, wigs menu and in British pounds it is $ 65. But here's the weird thing that I discovered this morning when looking up info to make sure I got everything for this video when I convert it on the website. From British house US Dollars when I click the menu, the weights come out: 290 149. But as of today, if you convert the British pounds to u.s. dollars on the website, it comes up to 90 149, which is freaking expensive. I'Ve never ever paid that much for a wig, let alone a synthetic wig. If I'm gon na dish out that much money, I'm just gon na get a human hair at that point. But I just wanted to try these wigs now because it looks so gorgeous and I just felt like you know you you're kind of going to get what you pay for it. Even if it's synthetic, it could be high high high quality synthetic which will last even longer than my traditional wig. So I gave it a try despite the high price, even though it's not even it wasn't even 91 when I ordered it so for British pounds it was actually $ 65 or 65 pounds when I ordered it, are they still 65? Let me come back to British pounds: yeah there's still 65 British pounds on the website, so it's the same British pound amount as when I ordered it. But for some reason, when you convert it, it goes to 91. I don't know, but I ordered mine. It was 65 British pounds and the shipping was 1450 British pounds which let me convert that real fast, which is 1779 US dollars, which is reasonable, because you have to think about it. It'S coming from overseas, so there's like duties and stuff. So I wasn't really too mad about the shipping price, so the grand total of everything in British pounds was 7950 and let me convert it really fast, which total 97 55 US dollars in total with shipping and everything so really the amount that I paid in total. At that time is equal to the amount of just buying the wig alone. Currently so take that into consideration tracking the shipping wasn't too difficult. Unfortunately, you can't track it through the tracking number once it leaves the UK, but they give you a couple websites on how to check it once it leaves their grounds and fortunately, USPS was able to recognize the tracking number and once it came to the US, I Was able to track it through the USPS website so that wasn't too bad on to how it arrived now, if the wig, how much was it? Let me check if the wig totalled ninety seven, fifty five dollars US dollars almost a hundred dollars for synthetic wig. You would think that it would come in on a box doesn't have to be pretty than that be glamorous. Just you know, just a cardboard box, no girl, it came in a bag. I don't understand why, if I'm paying that much money for a wig, a synthetic wig, I'm gon na keep emphasizing synthetically, because that is a high amount for a synthetic wig. But anyway, if I'm paying almost $ 100 for isn't that a wig? I would expect it to come in a box, my other wigs, that I get from model model, free trust futre. They all come in boxes and they're like a third of the price they're like $ 30, there's no hundred dollars and it comes in the back. I don't know if it came in a pack, because I order from overseas I'm in the US or like if you're in the UK you order it it's coming in a box. I don't know I would feel like the farther it goes, the more protected it should be, so I feel like a box would be better, but now I can and in this bag it has all. I can't show you because my address is on here clear of the day, but it has all this information even have the stamp, which is crazy. It'S kinda like a passport, but it's a wig on the packaging. It says part of the divinely different packaging range. It is divinely different, alright, but I mean it did come kind of protected. It came with bubble, wrap and whatnot. So inside of the packaging, the wig actually came in this netting bag, which I feel like would be convenient for other purposes, not for a wig but for other purposes and also came in clothes in a net which is pretty standard. So I wasn't mad about that because most of not always do come in a hairnet and in the bag. You get a free, wig cap, which I think was pretty nice. I was pretty pretty different because other companies do not do that. So I thought that was pretty cool and also you get a pamphlet on the contact information. You have the website in the Instagram page and the information on email to contact them, and I'm not sure who this is. I don't I don't know. This is West awakes himself or another drag queen, but I mean she she's pretty, and this is actually a guide. So it is a wig styling guide and it tells you directions on how to maintain your wig, how to launch your leg, how to style your wig. So this is inside, I don't know if all of the pamphlets or a little brochure things would be different, but you might see some people, you may recognize and yeah. It just has a bunch of directions and a bunch of tips and tricks, which is pretty nice, because a lot of companies don't do that. And I feel like a lot of people mess up their wigs because they don't really know how to take care of them, which you know it's pretty convenient. I do appreciate that, but I personally am NOT a rookie. I wouldn't call myself a rookie been wearing them for quite a few years, but it doesn't hurt to read just in case so when I open the wig. I feel like this is turning into kind of like a story kind of like a three-time wig review. But when I first opened the wig or opened the packaging and took out the way um it had a a weird smell to it. Can I still smell it? I can't really smell it like the smell in a way but hella cup, oh yeah, spicy, peppery smell, which was off-putting because I'm like, why does it smell like it was in someone's kitchen, but it's gone now I don't notice the smell or anything. Obviously, once you put product in it, I haven't washed this wing or anything. This is just how it's been for the past couple months. I do need to rescale it, but I don't want to do anything to it until I made this review. So that's. Why looks pretty ratty and also I did not secure this correctly at all today, because I am so upset with his wig and I didn't feel like securing it correctly, but anyway, let me jump into the details of the wig. So it comes with your standard. Two combs on the front two combs in the back with the adjustable straps this week is uh provided with Swiss lace, which, if you don't know a Swiss lace, is the more delicate soft lace. So it's very very flexible. I personally do not I'm not a beginner. I mean I'm not at an advanced person with Swiss lace, I'm a beginner, so you can't really get away with just you know Bobby pinning this down and just going out the door. You have to secure it with either glue or with what I use when I can is the got to be ultra glued. A lot of people use this on YouTube. I am still a rookie with this. I'M still learning how to use it correctly and apply it correctly on my wigs, but those are two options that you have, but you cannot, for the life of me, do not go out in this wig on a windy day without securing it with either glue or The gel, because it's just going to go everywhere, because Swiss lace is not like the traditional hard lace. I will show you the traditional hard lace right here. This is traditional hard lace probably can't see, but this is traditional hard lace. It does not is not that bendy I mean it is bendy as bendy enough, but it's very stiff, so the lace lays down way better on the stiffer traditional lace. This is not, as you can see, you'll. Probably can't. Let me zoom in for you, as you can see, it does not lay down at all really so you have to secure it, or else it's going to be flapping and flying everywhere, but the lace is ear to ear, which is nice, and there is quite a Bit of parting space, I think it's four inches. I will read you the description when I get the chance, but it's nice parting. I do like how the parting looks. Of course, I do want to tweeze it. I do want to tweeze the hairline and the parting. Just a little bit but from the get-go, the parting actually isn't that bad and you can part it any direction you want from here to here and four inches back, so you do have a little bit of flexibility with this lace front. So let me read you the product description now I can't tell you the exact description. Why I can? I guess, because the color is separate, but my color is rooted, champagne, one and unfortunately, right now it is not available, but they do come. This week does come in a lot of different other colors, but the style is loose. Salt spray ways and the length is 23 inches when pulled straight, and it's made from a high-quality shush phone made from a high quality he's safe synthetic fiber. So you can use tools up to 170 degrees Celsius to curl or straighten hair. I don't know, I know it. No Celsius well moments, please so. 170 degrees Celsius equals three hundred and thirty-eight degrees, Fahrenheit, so almost 400 degrees, which is usually the standard for a lot of synthetic wigs. These days it says that there's about two inches of parting space on a soft, invisible Swiss lace front, I think. Well, maybe it is too, it might be slightly more that you, maybe okay. I thought it was for sorry two inches. The density is about 150 percent, meaning she has lots of hair and is very full. She is very full to an extent back here. The tracks can easily be seen if you're, not careful. I think she's more full from the neck down more than up here, which is very strange to me. I feel like most wigs are usually really think of the top and then thin out as you get lower, which is actually the correct way to to construct a wig, because natural hair is really thick at the top and then it gets thinner and thinner center. But this wig seems thicker from the neck down. So that's why it's easy to kind of see the tracks if you're, not careful, she's, a natural contouring hairline with a small widow's peak book. The natural hair line is true. It'S not just like straight across like a headband, it does kind of have like an in-and-out kind of thing to it, and it is a very, very slight widow's peak right here. It'S very very slight. So for all of you who have windows Peaks, this weight might conform to your hairline better, and it does say I am available to do custom orders where there's restyling or customizing, the hairline of a wig, all ready for sale or creating a brand new, color or Style, wigs, I don't already so please fill out a custom order form available in my store home or message me and we can discuss your needs. But when I ordered the wig - and I clicked on that just to be curious um, he was not taking custom orders at that time, but let's see if he is doing it, no not at this time we are not accepting any custom wig orders. So, unfortunately, you cannot get a wig custom style at this woman. Now, when I first opened the wig and put it on for the very first time, I was a little upset because the style on the website and the style that I came in it literally came like this. It did look the same and I really got it mostly. I got the style mostly because of the lift in like the little bang area at the top. I thought that was so nice and it just made it look so blue, and so that's what I was expecting when I open the wig going to open the wig. It was just flat like this, so that was disappointing. I'Ll include a screenshot somewhere of what the Ariel wigs actually looked like on the website. So I went on the frequently asked questions and looked up the styling, I'm like okay did I get like a defective way? Was it just not style? Now look at other people's reviews and it seemed like they had kind of a lift in the front of their way to it. I'M like who did mine just get smooshed or what happened. So I looked up the frequently asked questions and I found some interesting things about these wigs. So one of the questions that intrigued me was: do you personally hand make every wig on your store, and the answer was unfortunately due to waste from full lace. Wigs being extremely time-consuming to hand create, and due to the sheer amount we sell daily, we do have a manufacturer who creates our wigs for us to our specifications and color / style designs, the lace top wigs and the amber lily. Ariel luna and victoria styles are exclusive to our store, as they, along with a large number of colors, have been designed by us. So now, all the wigs are his original designs, which kind of made me sad because they all did look original. None of them look like they were like just copies. I want copies of them copies they just all looked original. So that's why I really liked the company, but when I read that answer I was a little upset because of the amount of moolah that you're paying. You would think that they were already kind of custome. They just thought like they were made with love on all the pictures on the Instagram and on the website. So just just a heads up so another question: this was the question I was looking for regarding the style. Are all your products as pictured on your website? The answer is, all items are photographed in-house and are taken in a way to show the versatility of the wig. We try to show it all possible angles of our products and do not edit our photos to make them more aesthetically pleasing some ways. On my store. May have been brush slightly to best portray the style, and this will be noted in the description of the purchase. Please note that different monitors and phone screens can affect how colors portrayed. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for a slight difference in shade when you receive your order. Also, please note that all of our wigs are photographed on a mannequin which isn't accurate to human head neck or chest size, meaning the wig may appear longer or shorter in the photos on our site. If you are concerned about the length of a wig yet looked at, please look at the measurement given in the description of the said, wig, the part where it said it was just brush. They may have been brushed slightly totally, doesn't make sense, because the wigs, the Ariel wigs on the website look completely different to this. I put the screenshot again. If you see these and then look at this, they do not look the same. Where did the bump go? Why isn't there a bump to the bank I'm so so upset when I got this wig? I was like oh it's flat and I was not happy about it. So, along with the rest of the review, the color is really nice. I do really love the color. The color - I was a little scared at first because I am not used to being this blonde. I haven't gone a little bit blonde in the past, but this was like the lightest blonde. I'Ve ever gone and it was a little weird at first, but I've warmed up to it. So I really love the color. I love how the roots fade nicely into the blonde. Is nice brooding? I do love that about the wig, but honestly, that's kind of about all I like about the wig everything else I just don't. I just I just don't feel like the price is justified for the quality of the week that you get. I did also notice that the wig did shed a lot and it's shedding even more now like just okay, there's, no there's no hair, oh, never mind, so it is a shedding. Can you see I'm quite a bit now, even more than did when I first ordered it fast, discouraging she's, very long uh? What is the 21? Is it 24 27 inches uh, I'm size 16 to actually kind of almost actually almost pass my chest. So it's very long, which means it's not going to last long because it is very long. So keep that in mind. It is very tangley because it is long. I'M not gon na blame the company on that, because most long wigs do tangle a lot. So here is where I was like: you know what girl it is not worth almost a hundred dollars, so this wig was constructed very interesting. The hemline, because I have to secure it down with got to be glued, it's kind of hard to pull it down below my hairline is it's lower than it seems um. So I have like kind of well, not my hairline more so this is my sideburns. You see how far up my sides, my edges, come on the sides versus my hairline, so I have to pull the wig down very far just to cover the sides and it's very tight in the front. It'S it's not. You don't have a lot of leeway in the front to pull it down in order to secure it properly, but the back of the wig, the cap itself is so big. I don't know why it's so being in the back and not the front. I feel like I should be the opposite, because who has a long back of the head that doesn't make sense. So what I do in situations like this, not just with this way with any way for the adjustable straps. I criss cross them across each other and then secure them on the loops on the back of the link. Well, not too long ago, um. Well, maybe you was a while ago. I don't know I'm not sure exactly when, but it wasn't maybe a month ago I noticed that one of the loops this the sewing the thread came loose and I've never had that happen to me before I will insert a clip now. I hope you guys can see that having a flash on I'm using my phone, but I've never experienced this with a wig before but, as you can see, the stitching for the loops to put the straps in this stitching completely broke. It just tore which I've never experienced in a wig before, and it's due to the fact that, because the back of this wig is too big like the cap itself, I actually crisscross. I can't do this one hand, but I basically crisscross the adjustable straps across each other and then loop them on opposite sides, because that's the only way the wig will fit me properly in the back, because it's too big and it's a lot loose back here and I guess, after doing a few times, it's just totally ripped and I never have that happen. That'S what it's supposed to look like, they're, equal on both sides, the loops and I supposed to be stitched like that. But it just came apart one day and I've never experienced that ever and I do the cross. The criss cross thing all the time, but not all the time, but whenever the wig is too loose in the back, I've done this a bunch of times of wigs. I'Ve never had the stitching come apart, so that was very odd to me. I'Ve crisscross the adjustable straps to secure the wig when the way count was too big in the back plenty of times with all my other wigs and I never had an issue that threat never came loose. So that was a little off-putting and also today, when I was recording that footage for you to show you. I noticed that a part in the cap, the threading, came loose as well. Also another thing I literally just noticed, as I was showing you that the stitching broke look at the track. The track. Well, not the track, but I didn't know this is but the little lace detail that lays on top of the tracks totally ripped, and I just noticed that I've never seen that until now. That'S crazy. I'Ve never experienced that. I do not put pins there or anything as you can see, this is the back of the wig. It'S actually like the back, so I don't put clips there anything and I don't yank on this wig that hard at all, it's a big cab. There'S no reason for me to actually yank you, but that I don't know how to happen, but it happened and I've never seen that before the only time I've ever seen that happen when maybe be on the sides, because I do use bobby pins, sometimes to lay Wigs down when it's hard lease, I can get away with that, but this is softly, so I can't really get away with that, but yeah that I'm I'm speechless honestly, I don't know how it happened, but it's supposed to look like this side. I don't know why. I really don't even know what these lines are for. I guess it's to keep the wig cap flatter because it's coming from the top, I'm not sure what they're for but every wake has them. But as you can see, this is supposed to like this and I don't know what the purpose of looping it underneath the other lace trap is for. But it's somehow came out from underneath it's supposed to be like that. But somehow the stitching came loose, but it's supposed to like this. I'Ve never experienced that. In my whole I don't know: I've been wearing wigs for quite a few years and I've never ever experienced these straps coming loose. I'Ve had tracks come loose here and there, but overall I never really had issues with the inside of the cap. Usually it would just be like the lace but wow, I'm not impressed if you guys know what those little lace lines are for on the cap. Leave it down below I'm still a rookie as far as what construction is for what, as far as the weak hats, but I've never noticed that happening to any of my wigs. This is the very first week that both of those occurrences have happened that mamie dislike the wig even more so, basically, at the end of the day, what I'm trying to say is: it is not worth almost hundred dollars at all between the way it came to Me the way it smell the way it was constructed just know I can buy wigs that are thirty dollars from like mono model or free trust or even food tray, and I would not be this displeased. This is the first time I've actually been so upset about a wig, I'm usually never this upset about a wig and I usually can make it work, but no, I just can't make this work at all, so it is safe to say I will not be repurchasing. Another wig from this company - I don't have any ill will towards this company. I just don't feel like the prices justify whatsoever. I don't know if it's because in another country or what, but I just know, I can get way better. Wigs at $ 30.00, then almost $ 100. If I'm gon na spend a hundred dollars on the wig, I might as well just keep saving up for a human hair. At least I know that'll last, so that's my wig review. I'M sorry! It was very disappointing and I'm sorry it was very long, but I just had so much to tell you and I figured it was gon na be long because I knew I was going to be very thorough because I had this wig for about four months now. So I hope you guys enjoyed uh. Let me know your opinions down below. Have you ever ordered from this company before? If so, what were your experiences? It might be different from mine, but I just don't feel like just the price, just the price of it all. It'S just not worth it, but the wings are pretty. They really are they're very beautiful, but just when you get it in your hands or when I got it in my hands, I was just like wow. I was just disappointed from day one and it just went downhill from there, so I hope you guys enjoy this. Video is long ass story, time, video, slash, wig review. It'S weird. I know if you guys have any suggestions on wigs to purchase, leave them down below. Do you guys know any wig companies that do like colors, like blue and pink and purple? Let me know, because I really want to experiment with like colors. It is 2018 I'm trying to live my best life. So if you know of any affordable companies that sell lace, fronts of different colors leave them down below. Thank you guys for watching, and I will see you in the next one.

luxekween: i have two ariels and both came as photographed (wearing one in my profile pic). my guess is that you got a defected unit, if thats the case im truly sorry. i love my wigs from this company and will continue to purchase more. again sorry love! xx

Danielle Buckles: Thank you so much for putting this up. I've been looking into buying a wig and was looking at Webster. I think I'll keep looking. Thank you for the honest review!

MaKinna Traylor: I just ordered an Ariel wig and it doesn't look like that at all! I would contact them!

Diana Rosa Pina: If the wig didn’t look as pictured when you first took it out the package, why didn’t you contact the company asap with photos, so you can exchange the unit?? **Most, if not all, lace wig companies will not accept a wig return if the lace has already been cut off... It also looks like you cut wayyy too much of the lace off from around the hairline, which is necessary for a lace front wig to look natural (like its coming out of your scalp). If you watch any lace-front or full lace wig tutorial, you’ll see no one cuts off that much lace — There’s literally no lace left on your unit to glue down & blend into your hairline..... not sure if that also came defective like that, or if you just cut way too much off, but yeah... you should’ve contacted the company *before* cutting off the lace, so you could have exchanged this defective unit...

PersonalIsPolitical: Omg thank you, finally a realistic review. I recently bought a wig from them and all I did was cut the lace and try it on and it's falling apart. They WILL NOT give refunds if you cut the lace etc even if faulty. Which is rubbish as every other wig company will. Personally, I would AVOID Webster Wigs like the plague.

Star Marie: yessss i love that you are keeping it real in this review

kit hand: I feel like you got scammed. all my wigs from them are perfect

Asia Howard: I pay almost $100 for my synthetic ear to ear lace front wigs that's not that much at all for a good actual human hair wig ur gonna pay at least $300.im getting one soon

Verrottesok: Thats because of the difference between de pounds euros and dollars really makes a difference

Oliver McCloid: My wig I ordered from them looked about the same as yours... it’s just terrible... it sheds too much, it gets tangled way too fast and it looked NOTHING like the picture

Luvdio Shepherd: My webster wig is awful! I purchased the "Lily" and it's not well made, and the colour isn't even close to the picture!

Lil Paws: Webster wigs isn't even that expensive there's places that have higher prices than them plus some of the wigs are unique and worth the price

Raven Monroe: Was there any customs shipping to USA?

Rudy Munroe: The conversation will change and depending on what the stock market is at that time. It's a no brainer really

70’s Fashion &Hair Channel: May I ask how long did it take you to receive your wig? Do they accept debit card payments or does it have to be PayPal?

Melissa G-R-D-Knee: You’re complaining about an 80 dollar wig ? Someone has to be paid to make it ffs .

Lady Tino: Try wig is fashion
