☆[Review] Epic Cosplay Wigs - Hestia, Gaia, 50" Ponytail Wrap☆

Hey everyone, I'm Ellie, as you guys know, I'm a cosplayer and as a cosplayer, I go through lots and lots of wigs trying to find one. That'S perfect for my next costume. I forgive lots of different wigs before, but this time we're going to be taking a look at another big-name company that I've actually never bought a product from before. So we're going to be taking a look at Epic cosplay, wigs epic cosplay is one of the big name brands in the USA. A lot like arta, wigs and they're well known for their large leak traps and their silky fibers. They don't really tangle at all. The only reason I've never bought from them before is it in a lot of their stock photos or customer images, their wigs look really shiny, and that scares me so I'm hoping that it's just a trick of the camera and that Epix wigs actually look really good. So let's go ahead and crack open our package: oh how cool, okay, so they're, all in here, nice and flat. This wig is in dark, copper, red. I want to say it's like a Fiesta or something like that. I'M gon na use it for Karen. Hopefully it's the right color and then we have. This is a gaya which is epics version of a chibi, so it's a pigtail wave and then I have two pigtails lips. This will be for gucci. Yet, let's start, i think, we're gon na start with the red wig. First, okay, so first impressions, you guys so right out of the bag. This wig is really soft, which is great um. It'S a little shiny. I don't know if you can see that. So I don't have my studio lights on right now. I just have my overhead and the windows open, but it's cloudy outside and you can see like this ring of shine, which I don't particularly love and oh, they have cute little tags, epic cosplay. I love that this is interesting. Okay on the inside of their ear tabs. Normally, the way care would end right on the edge, but they have some with hair that folds over and then underneath the ear tabs. I don't know if that's gon na change, the way it looks and but let's stick it on our way head and take a look. So here we are here, it is all brushy-brush kind of. I just ran my fingers through it. As you can see, the fibers are really soft. I'M going to step back and look at it. Well that looks cool the fibers do look nice. They look very natural. I wish there was a bit more color variation and when you get up close, you can tell that the fibers are all the same. Color yeah. I don't really see any variation. Maybe I'm wrong! Maybe there is, and I'm just colorblind today, but the color all looks to be just one color. I will admit, though it's a very nice color, so yeah that's a week. It'S alright, I'm not! I'M, not gon na become a loyal customer based on this one. It was a good price. It was maybe thirty four dollars with free shipping, which is a really good deal, but it's nothing special. It kind of feels a lot like almost like a purple, plum or like a more expensive eBay brand, but not quite like name-brand. I just don't love the feel of the fibers and look how they separate like that. They look so oily, not my favorite, okay. Well, so the next week we're gon na take a look at this is called a Gaea. It is in natural blonde, which looks a lot like light blonde to me, and this one, I'm gon na, be using a space for Lucia's from mermaid melody, so we're gon na go ahead. Squeeze this onto our big head, okay, so first impressions of this way, the skinny top in the back is gorgeous like that is one of the better skin caps. I'Ve seen - and I love that their hair down here is like a good link. There'S a lot of it. It'S long and it's not teased, that's beautiful! So we'll come around to the front here we can see up here. You'Ll have weak hairs that are some backwards. This way you can have pigtails and it'll look seamless they do, but they do. However, pull up on the ear tags here, I don't know if that's just to make it look more natural. I kind of like it here in the front. These bangs are gorgeous. These are so thick and soft and they already have kind of that. Anime look to them. Also, this color blend is perfect. This is a blend of there's like six colors in here. I can at least count three, which is awesome that makes the week libraries look so so so natural and just very beautiful. I also love that our tails here for a little bit longer a lot of times, you'll see that these tales are Tris like really short on pigtail wigs. But this gives you a little bit more room to work with, and it's also great for stabilizing. I'M one of those people that I'll pull on my way to keep it on. Sometimes that's perfect, so the pigtails are in great positioning. They are wrapped up with elastic, which is pretty usual for things like this and they're a good length as well. They look really cute just out of the bag. It'S really really cute. So to make some of this hair longer, I did get a couple of extensions instead of Clips. They were also valid Clips, so I got something that would companies have started doing and I haven't tried yet so we're trying it out today holy crap, that's a long tail. I know you can't see much of me because my floor is a mess, so I didn't want you to see that I am five nine and this is going past. My knees, that's insanity, holy crap, okay, so what this is is, instead of being a clip-on like most pigtails rebo and it clips into the wig. This has a weft sewn onto a bit of lace in kind of like a Halfmoon circular position and at the top you have away clip and some bias ribbon to attach these clips. We insert the clip into the pigtail and then wrap the ribbon around the pigtail. Multiple times until it's tight and can be tied into a nice little bow, which you can hide with any sort of hair accessory. Okay, so that wig tail is freaking gorgeous. I know you guys can't even see the end of it, but it's practically reaching the floor and it is beautiful like wow, absolutely wow, it looks really good and since it's not a full clip of hair, it looks pretty thin if you grab it all together, but It has the inner pigtail to poop it out, so it doesn't actually look thin and it's a lot lighter than a regular picture would be, and here you can see it means. Let'S see, I think you can see it up to there. If I pick that up again, you have enough to make a whole nother pigtail. These are insane like this is Canon moon length like absolutely anything okay. So, what's like verdicts on epic cosplay, wigs, the first wig is a reddish-brown. One was okay. I didn't love the fibers and they didn't look good curly. I don't think personally, but maybe, if I uncurl it Andrey curl, it that'll put some of the curls back together and it'll. Look nicer. This wig, however, is amazing. This is one of the highest quality. Wigs. I'Ve ever had um, like I'd, said at the beginning. Epoch is known for softer and silky fibers that don't tangle it easily, which is perfect when you have a 50 inch ponytail. What in the world that's insane to me this is the longest ponytail ever but yeah. So it's it's beautiful, the fibers are so soft. I mean even kind of here. That'S that's, not bad! That'S easily, brushable, beautiful, beautiful fibers and on this blonde color I love the blend of colors on the red one, not so much, but this one. The blend is really nice. I also think the skin cap is really good. However, this is a huge wig, as you can see, it does not fit. My wig form, there's like an inch or so of extra in there that I'm gon na have to figure out some way to deal with if you have a larger head or a lot of hair that you need to get under a wig. This might be a really good option free. I also think they did a great job of pulling up the fibers to create the ponytails. It really clean looks really really nice, and I think my favorite thing on this wig, though, is the bangs. They are so thick and easily ready to be teased into awesome 90s magical girl bangs. So I think that this is the perfect weight for what I needed. So, yes, I would definitely suggest checking out at the cosplay wigs, if you're in the market, for something that won't tangle and is really really beautiful, nice and long and straight if you have purchased a wig from epic cosplay before.
