Exposing Scam Wig Companies | Whatwigs
testing out wigs from companies that have stolen my pictures to sell you THIS.
Hey guys, it's me noah the owner of what wigs. As a lot of you know, there are a bunch of scam ads going around using my face and my wigs to sell 25 wigs. So i took it upon myself to buy a few of the scam wigs and see what you actually are getting for 25. So, let's open them up and see what's inside comes in this, they are very compact. I got four of them by the way. So, let's see what is inside also, if i'm looking all over the place, i have a viewfinder on my right. I have the camera and i also have my iphone in case. The camera footage is not good and then there's also a mirror behind me. So i'm gon na try to not be conceited and look at myself, i'm just trying to make sure i'm in the shot and make sure everything is good. Oh my god, i'm like excited here they are there's four. I wish i got a receipt, so i could remember what i ordered, but let's see i know i ordered one of my kendra wigs, which is a long 613 blonde with a root. So let's start with that, taking it out of the packaging, it comes in. One of these little things - i don't know if that's gon na be before comes wrapped in a hair net. Oh my god, this is so bad. Okay, so first thing i'm noticing is the root is oh girl. There is no lace on this at all and look at the root. The root is literally just a weft of brown hair. On top of this, like yellow, i don't know what i was expecting, but this was not it. This is what the part looks like, and this is what the inside of the cap looks like. There is literally no lace on this at all, and at least it has adjustable straps. That'S really good, but i mean also so does party city work. Oh, it hurts, like the part, is really hard girl no way, this isn't real, that, ah, for once in my life, i'm speechless, and i really don't know what to say, but this is, this is awful um. This is what the part looks like. This is what the sides look like: um, okay, this does not look quite like my kendra, but it's close, okay, not really um. I mean for synthetic hair. It'S not awful, even though they market it as 100 human hair, but should we try and straighten it? This is what the ends look like gorgeous. Oh my god, it is shedding a lot um. Okay, i'm gon na try and straighten it. Oh, this is gon na be a really bad idea, and i hope i don't ruin my straightener ghd, i'm sorry sweetie! So it's not burning um, so that's cool. I mean at least it's like heat resistant me trying to justify this wig. Okay, let's move on to what everyone really cares about the boy wigs, because that is what is all over the ads. Let'S see, let's use this one. This one is made after danny, which is a short shave, side, platinum, hair, the color. This already is pretty it's a nice silvery color, that's pretty off the bat it has wefting in it. Mine are full lace. Oh girl, that is dense, there's no lace on this at all. It'S all just like wefted. It'S just wefted! No, no, wait what no stop this. So it's not quite the danny wig that i made. So this is very um, not the danny wig that i made it's more like karen. If, like karen and danny phantom, had a baby, it would be this wig. It gives me very much like i want to speak to the manager of these ads, because this isn't it. I wanted this and i got this so um something's not adding up next. I think i got kyle, which is the same wig as danny just black. Okay. This hair already looks way more plasticky um, it's the same cap, construction, no lace, love that um you're, definitely getting what you pay for. This is literally just a wefted party city, wig um, it's kind of like um, kris jenner, but like if she was poor. You know if kris jenner was poor. It would definitely be this if i ever go on drag race and do snatch game. I'M bet your ass. I'M gon na do kris, jenner and wear this wig. So thank you very much. Okay, and then i have one more. I don't remember what wig this is supposed to be. I think i ordered cynthia very shiny um, it's weird, because the hair is actually like pretty like it's soft, but it's the same cap construction. They all are just completely wefted um with no lace. It'S a hard front wig, i'm definitely getting a rash from this. I'M gon na have to take like six showers and shower and bleach honestly, because i'm scared i'm gon na get lice. Okay, oh my god. It'S like really shiny the. Why is it shaped like that? Do i look like a cone head? What is going on um yeah, this isn't cute, so i did want to show you guys what you can expect from me um. This is what you would get if you did order. For me, this is one of my lauren units. It is full lace. There are no wefts at all, not one all. My wigs are full lace. Um come pre-plucked with bleach knots, um yeah, so this is one of my actual wigs and i also have a boy right here that i'll show you guys as well. These are full lace as well. You can see me through it. There is no wefting in here. I also haven't wore this wig in a very long time, so it's a little smushed, but this is what you can expect from me. The actual owner creator face of all these facebook ads um yeah. This is what you can actually expect. Full nice canon, not plastic. Barbie hair like this. I hope it brought you some knowledge, so you know not to purchase these wigs now because they are trash. They are so bad um. So please be aware, if you see a facebook ad, an instagram ad, a linkedin ad, a tinder ad, a bumble ad with me and a wig. It is not me. The only place where i'm at is instagram instagram and my website, which is www.whatwigs.shop if you are purchasing a wig with my face on it anywhere else, it is a scam. JOSEF EDWARDS: I think you can sue them, and this can potentially become class action lawsuit, as A LOT of people were impacted through this false advertising campaign, and facebook still continues for the ads to be displayed. Rastou is another company who I am in the processing of getting a refund after they also stole your videos and pictures and published them on facebook ads. I am also filing a claim with my bank, as I am out $163 for this. I have documented everything fradulent with my case, and I think you as the creator of the actual wigs should pursue legal action for not just your sake, but for the sake of others who went through this. Facebook should not have provided advertising to companies who did not ask for your consent on this, and that is a liability to not only your company, but to the integrity of the advertising system on facebook. It needs to be called out, and I really hope you pursue more than just this video.

When I saw your videos on the fake Facebook ads, I knew they were fake because I'm a hairstylist and clearly the quality of the wigs you were modelling were not $40 wigs. But I had no idea how to find the "real" you, or the real product. LOL

James Rimmer: I just wanted to thank you for this vid. I saw a website selling these wigs and kinda wanted one, so I ordered one that looked like my hair only longer. It took almost 5 months to get it. A few weeks ago I ran into your vid, still waiting for my wig. It finally came the other day and I’m waiting to take it to a friend of mine who happens to be a expert on this subject (he’s both a certified hair dresser and professional drag queen).
