Trying New Color: Motown Tress Wig Review

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, miss cinnamon spice, and today i am coming on here with another wig review. So this is a wig review that i'm excited about, because i've never did a look like this before um. Well, i kind of did, but that was like a playing around fun kind of video um. But i'm excited about this because we're gon na have some color we're gon na have some color up in here. So when someone like the red, what else i did, our blue, it's gon na, be like a rainbow. It'S gon na give like unicorn okay, but if you guys want to um see what wig i will be reviewing make sure you continue to watch if you're new to my channel. I just got a lot of stuff coming that i'm really really really excited about, and i don't know it's gon na be lit, but come over here come on. Come on over here. Let'S get into this video, so history about this wig y'all number one. I have no idea where i got it from like zero, but i am going to leave it down in the description box once i do a little bit more searching and digging around so i can um have it for you guys um number two. I think this is the original packaging that it came in. I had this wig for, like four or five years, like literally i just never, i never wore it um, i don't know, but i feel like doing a review. You know it's a time and a place for everything, so you know i guess this is the time. So this is how the wig looks. Yeah um. It is it's pretty right. It'S pretty um. It is the motown tris, less lace, wig deep part lace. So this is how i'm trying to block out that ring light. Okay. That is how the um card looks here. So that's the obviously the color wig that we have and it has a deep part lace which is four inches. It'S a soft swiss lace. It'S curling iron, safe up to 400 degrees. Man i mean i can like wine curl it and add some curls to this in. Maybe i should do that on camera yeah. Maybe i should try to wine curl it. I don't know we'll see, um, it's an ear-to-ear lace and the color is aurora platinum, turtle, black honey, blonde gold, blonde peekaboo - and i stand - i don't know who came up with those names, but those are the names and it's 30 inches. So you know let's go ahead and show you how the inside of the wig looks here. Y'All know i always do this. We have our drawstrings here, like we normally do. We have a comb here, a comb here, a comb here, and this is how far would you say it was four inches. So that's how far that goes back, and this is how the lace look. It is a ear to ear lace and i'm just gon na go ahead and show you the colors. So we have this pretty purple, which i did this color before. So i'm not really um nervous about trying that so anyways. We have this pretty purple here and it ombres into the blue and then it ombres into the green and then at the bottom. It hit us with the pow yao, and we have this really really pretty bright, neon, yellow or green. Whatever you want to call it. Um, like i said, i never wore this wig, so i'm very excited to kind of see um. You know how it's going to look on me. You know us darker skin tone, women. We always get um flak about it's. Like a word, i don't know black. I don't know we always get slammed about wearing bright colors like people say like. Oh, it doesn't look good on dark skinned. Women and y'all shouldn't be wearing this and da da da da girl shut up like shut all the way up, like don't ever open your mouth again, because us brown-skinned women, also look good in color, just like anybody else. So if you're a brown skinned girl out there, don't allow anyone to put you in this box of what you should and should not look like and then try to dog you or talk about you because you decide to go outside the box like do you be Happy with you love, you love your skin and we can pop colors just like anybody else like we we popping over here too. I just have to you know, get that out there because i'll be tired of hearing about this dark universe, light skin stuff like we all we all the same. So if she can wear it, i can wear it too, and i'm going to wear it period anyways. This is the wig i have to i'm going to take this off and the wig that i have on now. You guys is the wig that i did in my last video review. So if you have not seen this wig review, make sure you guys go ahead and check it out. I think the card will be like right up here somewhere, go ahead and check this out, because i love this wig and it's not it's not even glued down. So it's like, it literally comes up um, so anyways. I got to cut the lace and i got to glue this down and i will be right back once i get done doing that. So i can show you guys how it looks on okay. So i put this glue on my head and i kind of shouldn't have did that because i think i'm going to try to wine curl this wig a little bit more, and i want to show you guys how it look before i want curl it versus after. So i'm going to put it on, but not put it on um like i said, i'm not going to put it on on for you guys and do the baby, hairs and other stuff, because i want to wine curl it and i'll show you how it looks. But i think this is in the middle, that's how it looks on and if y'all know me. I know i'm gon na do my little side, soup or whatever you can switch it to different size and things like that. Um i'll go up and show you guys how i'll go ahead and stand up and show you guys the length of it like right now, while it's on me because it is 30, it is 30 inches. So you know excuse my outfit. I'M really comfortable today like really comfortable um, but this is how many inches it is on me. So it goes down to my um hips a little bit past my hips and then in the back. That is how long it is in the back, and it goes to my butt. So this is the pattern that it is right now without the wine curlers and, like i said it is like still super cute, but i just want to see if it can be wine curled. It said it could be curled up to 400 degrees, so we're going to test that out see if we could so i'll be right back so, like i said, i want to show you how it's going to look if i um want curl this hair, because i I have no problem with these curls, they just kind of fell and kind of real loose, and i just want to you know see what happens if i do my own thing. So i have my wine curlers here, and so these are remixing from ulta beauty and they're set to 400 degrees. So i'm just going to grab a piece here and let's see if it won't curl, they said that you got to do it up to 400 degrees. So we're gon na see so i'm gon na i'm gon na start off at the top, because that's just how i want my curls to go and i'm gon na hold it on there for like 40 seconds. Let'S see it didn't curl. Look you guys. It does not curl okay, so that was weird. Let'S try another. Let'S try it another sign all right, so they said it can curl. I don't know. Maybe you got ta go longer. Yes, no that daylight. That is not. That is, and i know how to wire curl. That is not this just straight. Look it completely straighten it out. It did not. It did not curl it whatsoever, so i mean i'll, try a smaller piece and see like it's. I just don't. I don't know it's just not curling, i don't know if it needs to be on here longer, it's not giving me a curl at all yeah. So these it's curling iron safe, but it's not curling at all. It'S just literally straighten the hair out. When you look at this curl that was already in here compared to this - it's not curling at all, so i am back as you can see, that was an epic freaking fail that wig did not curl and it literally says where's the little card at because it Literally says that this wig is curl safe. Let'S see okay, curling iron safe, like no lie. Look you see that y'all, seeing i just tried to curl this wig and it didn't do anything whatsoever, but i'm gon na go ahead and glue her down and i can't style her like i wanted to so i'm just gon na brush her out really good and Just kind of see how it looks but yeah it definitely was not curling iron, safe or at least the wine curlers didn't work. Maybe actual curling irons might work because it didn't say one curler safe. It said curling irons, but it's the same thing. So you know. Well, um, i don't know - and i know how to my wine curlers work, because i did my my wig the other day and they worked perfectly fine. So i don't know it just didn't do what it was supposed to do. Um this. Where is the piece like you can literally see the piece that i i tried curling look. It didn't do anything but straighten it out. I mean so. At least you know, like i mean it literally took the curl complete curl out of it, but at least you know that it can be straightened. So that's a good thing: it didn't melt or burn or smell funny, but yeah. Okay, let me put this wig on and finish this video up, okay guys, so i am back and i did glue this wig down um. Now i am going to do my um baby hairs, real, quick because yeah. I want some baby hairs like a couple baby hairs, so like nothing crazy, so i'm just pulling out some hairs here. Okay, i pulled out some hairs that are going to be my baby hair. So now i'm just going to take my razor and my scissors and go ahead and cut these away. We'Ll shave these down this razor sucks like that razor sucks, really bad, oh no! They don't it's just the angles, such the angle, that i was trying to do it in. So that's what it was: okay them for long baby hairs, but i'm going to keep them long. Just in case. I want to do like a um like curl them and make them a little bit more cuter, i'm using my ego style gel here to mow my baby hairs. Really quick. Okay, i'm gon na put some got to be glue on my baby hairs, real quick to just keep them molded in place. I feel like that. Gel is good for molding um, but to keep it actually like keep them staying in place. So i got to be glue was like 10 times better to keep all right, i'm just gon na blow dry it! Oh, i have my wig on. I did my baby hairs, um brush her out and all that type of stuff. Okay, let's see how that looks. Trying to see if behind the ear is cute like that or if we should make it like that, i think behind the ear it was really cute trying to get it to do. Look at look at how much that shed like yo. That is a lot of hair. Okay, guys i'm trying to get this. I want this to like really really. I don't know how to explain it. I want this this swoop to like be a real slice, freaking swoop like a soup soup um. So i'm trying to get it to be that i think i'm gon na cut it. So i am just gon na cut this because i want to layer this out there we go, i'm gon na get rid of that, because that was this was my issue. Okay. Okay, okay, i finally got it to do what i needed it to do with the street, because it was too long, and so it was just constantly mixing up with the other hair just being really weird - and i didn't like it so all right. So this is how we are looking right now guys i am not dressed so, like i said when i stand up, you know my outfit ain't, all cute and stuff, but that's how we're looking from a distance here um, i don't know, i love it. It'S definitely given, like i said in the beginning: it's definitely given unicorn, it's definitely given. I don't know it's just super pretty and super cute, i'm in love with this wig. I probably couldn't wear it like uh all the time. Obviously, because where would i be wearing this too, but um like to take some bomb? Okay, so this piece right here, that's sticking up that looks stupid. I'M gon na have to like flat iron it, but i don't feel like doing it right now, so we're gon na just cover it up as much as we can here, because i just don't i just i don't feel like flying right now, um, it's a lot Of work not even like flat iron it personally but like i don't feel like bumping it right now, um this hair sheds a lot from brushing like you guys, i pulled. I i was showing you guys, as i was brushing it, how much it was shedding shedding shedding shedding. So just be wary of that um. I told you guys it is 30 inches long and it has all of these beautiful, real, pretty modified colors. So i really love the color like the ombre. Colors is just like. So pretty like i don't know it's just it just looks so cute like it's just really pretty it's a really pretty wig um. I tried this color purple here before so i'm kind of familiar with how that would look on my face, but all the other colors like it just looks so good like the blue and everything is just so pretty, and i got it behind my ear right here. Just because that's how i wanted it, you don't have to wear yours like that. You guys didn't know. This was a middle part wig, but i shifted it to the side. So i can get my little. You know fly side sweep how your girl do um, but the only thing i would say, like i said the bad thing about this wig is it does shed and it's going to tangle so keep your brush with you, because it's a synthetic unit like, of course, It'S gon na tangle, like we. We know that already like. I don't have to tell you all that, but keep your brush with you. Um keep a bag with you just in case it sheds like so much. I don't know you may not have to brush it as much depending on like how you wear it. I want to brush it out to give it a little bit more volume other than that i mean she's, giving like it's a vibe, it's a vibe. This is how the wig looks. I don't know like. I said it's not like an everyday wearing wig. I actually have to take this off to go to work um, so it's not an everyday wearing wig. You know you can take some cute instagram pictures in it. If you got like an occasion or something that you need to, do it's given mermaid too, and i really really like it. I just want to come over here, come on here and do some color. This wig was not sent to me, actually purchased this wig with my own money, like i said, if i find where i got this wig from, i would leave it down in the description box. If i don't i'm so sorry, i will try to find one. That is very similar to this wig, just in case the girlies want to go out here and you know: do the mermaid vibes on them. You know, that's that! That'S all i'm saying oh! This is so cute. It'S so cute when i zoom in on myself, but other than that you guys, i don't really have anything else to say about this wig um. It did not come with baby hairs. Of course it is a ear to ear lace. Like i told you guys, it is a four inch part um space and it is a swiss lace. You guys seen it's supposed to be in curling iron, safe, and i said this already, but it was not curling iron fake, like i could not want to curl it. Maybe if you try, some curling irons may turn out to be a different thing. But for me i can do that, i'm pretty sure i can actually straighten it, though. If i wanted like bone straight, that's possible, but as far as curling it was a no um. You could probably flexi rot it if you like, really really had to, but other than that. Let me know how you guys think this wig looks on me down below a little piece is going to continue to stick up right here and look crazy, because i actually, when i cut it, i should have had my flat irons ready to bump it. But i didn't know i was going to be cutting it so once you kind of bump that if you do decide to cut you like your little soup, i mean once you cut your little swoop. If you do decide to do that, just make sure you bump it because yeah it just look, look way better, but other than that i don't know this. Wig is it's cute, it's cute.
