*Detailed* Extra Long Knotless Braids Color #30 | First Time Installing Knotless Braids

Truth is i'm scared cause when i see you coming all i wan na do is tell you that i love you. I know you're better off without me. Cause your tears. I need hello, welcome and welcome back to my channel, so i decided that i've had enough and i wanted to get my hair braided, so i was contemplating on what kind of hairstyle do i want to do, but you know what i've been really missing. My extremely long hair, like braids, i haven't done that in a while i've been doing more of the short classic look, but i really want long. Like i mean long past my butt, that's what i wanted so and i also want a color, i'm done with the blacks. For now i wanted to you know, spruce it up a bit and try some color. So i went to my local beauty supply store. I wanted to see what kinds of colors they have so i landed on. Color 30 is more like a it's like a burgundy brown color, and i really just wanted that. I'M really done with the black. For now, and also i wanted to do some - not less braids, i've not done that before will be my first time, i'm i i pretty i'm a i'm a fast learner, so i have not done this before so i'm going to be doing it on camera. For the first time, i bought um 10 packs of the expression here and usually when i find my expression here, i make sure it says made in nigeria if it's not made in nigeria, i don't buy it because there's some that's made in kenya, some made in Other countries, but it's not made in nigeria - i usually don't get it because i see a big difference in the texture on how it feels on my hands. I'M such a okay, i'm such a tactile person that i notice the the difference in the fill and i'm it's it's a big deal for me. So if it doesn't say made in nigeria, i don't buy it. So i got the color 30 and i don't plan on cutting it in half i plan on just using it using the exact length it comes in, because i really i want a different look. I want it long i want. I want to look extra grown. I don't want to look like a little girl anymore. You know i look like a little girl right now, but that's what i'm going for enough of the chit chat. Um. Let me just show you what i have in front of me right now mention. I have 10 of this and each one was 3.99, which is surprisingly cheaper. Oh by the way i moved to a different state, so things are, you know, i'm learning some new things, but one thing i've learned so far. This hair is definitely cheaper than in new york state, i'm not in new york state anymore, i'm in the state of georgia. This is definitely cheaper. So that's applause for me, so i have 10 of this. I have my good old, faithful shining jam. I just have some scrunchies some hair clips, some um rosemary oil for my scalp and my rat tail comb to part and some brush. You know just yeah, so let's get into it. So i already blow dry. I washed to make sure you i already washed and um blew out my hair, but it's already shrinking again. I'M not sure why, but i'm not putting any more heat. I'M gon na work with it like this, so i already blew out my hair and i'm going to go ahead and part my hair into halves. So i'm going i'm going to unbox the hair or unwrap unravel the hair. I love this color. I think i wanted this right here, so i'm going to cut this chunk off and the chunk is about about 10 inches. So i'm going to cut about 10 inches off the hair, to get the perfect length that i want about 10 inches and i'm just going to take my scissors and just snip it off and that's garbage. So after cutting up the 10 inches, i'm gon na go on one hand and just fluff it i'm gon na. Take this end i just cut and fluff it out, so the ends are not too even, and i'm gon na do this for all ten packs. So i know this is already gon na. Take me all day. This is not uh took me two hours to do kind of hairstyle. I know this is gon na. Take me honestly, maybe the rest of the day, but we'll see you know, i'm not doing it. Super tiny or big either. So it's going to be like a medium-sized, knotless, braid and really long. So i'm just fluffing the ends. It doesn't have to be perfect, just fluff, so it gets rid of the evenness. You want it to be a bit uneven. So it's easier to braid, so this is what it looks like now, so you want to get your brush and just brush brush brush. This is what it looks like brush brush brush. So the ends should look something like this. So it's easier for you to braid. The ends and seal it with hot water, so now we can get started. I finished my first row of camera because, like i mentioned i've never done this before i wanted to see. You know if i could do it, but this is what my first row looks like and it has four braids. So that's one, two, three four. Let me zoom in a bit so after i make a part here, i go with my jam and i put it all around the roots. Also, the first few um braids i made my hair was fuzzy and it was fuzzy in between the braids and it's more noticeable, because the hair is a different color from my natural hair. So i go in with the hair jam and i just put it all over my hair too just to eliminate the freeze that you can see through the braids, because it's not a good look when you see the frizz, so i just put it all over like That split it in three go in one and then second and then i take my hair and i take my second hair. Then i take my fourth hair. My third sorry, my third hair take my fourth hair, so i'm only using four pieces. I take my fourth one and i just braid all the way down when it's starting to get too long. I use my teeth and my mouth to help me so do so. I'M currently done with half of my head and it's been four and a half hours. It'S been four and a half hours and i am done with half of my head, and this is how long it is and so far i've only used um three and a half packs of hair. I got 10 of them, so i have about about six and a half packs of hair left. So it's taken me a long time because of how long it is, it's literally down my knees and was past my butt for sure. So that's how it's looking so far, i'm gon na turn around. I am going to be here all night trying to finish this up um, but it should i'm going to wear this hairstyle for the entire month of september today, september 1st. So this is like perfect timing. Well, today is the 31st of august, so tomorrow is september 1st. So this is perfect timing and i do plan on wearing this hairstyle for the entire month of september. So right now, i'm gon na predict that i will be done with my hair by around 10 o'clock. That'S about in five. More hours takes a lot of patience to do stuff like this, so for this hairstyle i'm going to be creating a middle part. I'M going to work on this side and put this side away for now. I'M hoping i can crush this in two and a half hours. Something i also want to do is go into my scalp at the back here and uh. Add this male organics rosemary, mint, scalp and hair straightening oil, because once i'm done i'm going to forget to um skull oil, the back of my scalp. So i definitely don't want to forget that so it's currently 8 57 9 o'clock - and i am done. I am tired, i am beat. I can't go any further. My back hurts this length is something i have i haven't done in a long time, so it is kicking my behind. So this is what i have left. It'S a good chunk and right now we are five and a half packs of hair. So i have four and a half left, so i mean it looks good. I like it. It'S heavy i'm gon na save that it's heavy so far, but i wanted i wanted to change. You know i wanted something different, so we're gon na pick back up tomorrow morning. I'M gon na go to sleep. I'M gon na eat dinner late, but i am tired. I wish i could finish tonight on my back. I am very tired. This is so long so i'll see you guys tomorrow, peace out, so it's the next morning, and i am almost done i am on the last. What do you want to call it row right here? So this is what we have left so far. I have used seven packs of hair. I have three left so yeah. Let'S just finish this so so so so. Well, while i'm trimming i'm going to say that i love the idea of not less braids, definitely get gets rid of the knot in traditional box braids. It does take a bit of time. It does take a bit of time. I see now. I see why it's very expensive when you go on the hairdresser's website, it's a booking site. It is expensive. So i see why you know it's. It'S definitely a lot more work than a traditional box braid, but i like it a lot better. I love that it gets rid of the knots you don't have to bulkiness like in your roots. I definitely would recommend it, but it does take a while and if you're doing it on yourself, if you don't have the patience, i don't know what to tell you. You got ta have all the patience to be able to do it on your own head and that's something i have. I have patience um but yeah. I'M gon na keep trimming and go boil my water and wrap this up, wrap it up, wrap it up, wrap it up. I am ready to be done. I'M going to go in with my little body, foaming mousse all over my hair to just help me because it helps control um, the freeze in my hair and the extension. So i'm just gon na do that and it feels so good go in with my silk scarf and just lay that down. While i just run a few errands and just go about my day, put up some makeup just gon na do this. So i'm going to leave this down to set. While i go about my day, you know eat some breakfast shower put on makeup. You know run some errands and i'll be right back with the final result, with almost like a full body, shot too and yeah i'll. Be right back, my final result looks like um. The hair is pretty heavy because of the length, but i knew that i expected that, but i really like the idea of the nut less braids compared to like your traditional box, braids and yeah. This is the final result. I love it right now, i'm wearing it in the side part, but i can switch it over to a middle part and it's just like seamless so yeah.
