Searching for your first wig can be an emotional experience. Whether you are experiencing natural thinning of the hair, Alopecia or preparing for chemotherapy, hair loss is never an easy subject to approach.

Private Wig Fittings

This is why we really recommend a private wig fitting for first time clients. Our years of experience have helped us develop a compassionate, caring approach. We are able to provide you with a session that is not only informational but can even be therapeutic in nature.

It’s really as easy as contacting us to schedule an appointment. Many of our clients even make the drive from other locations to visit us for their first fitting for a ladies wig. You can make a day out of the experience, stopping for lunch before or after, or even booking a hotel in the area.

The Wig Fitting Process

Our first step is to measure your head to ensure the wigs you try on fit correctly. You can then try on any number of wigs in different styles and colours. Choose a human hair wig or an acrylic fibre wig that closely resembles your natural hair or go for a new and different style- the choice is entirely up to you.

You can also choose whether you’d like to bring along a friend or family member for support or just come alone. We are happy to support you through the process, and will advise you on all aspects of how to wear and care for your new ladies wig.

You’ll learn how to wash, store and maintain your wig so that it lasts as long as possible.

Also, at Joseph’s Wigs, no question is too silly. If you like you can write down your questions in advance so as not to forget them. Our goal is for each fitting to be a truly educational and positive experience.
