How to wear a wig

Option 1: Use a wig cap

Many women find that using a wig cap is one of the easiest and most effective methods. In this way, you only need a wig cap of your choice and some Bobby pins. Some wigs like to braid their hair before putting on a hat. This is most effective when using several small braids. For thin hair, two dice are enough. But as hair density increases, you may need three or more hairs to ensure even distribution of hair and no large areas.

To wear a wig cap, start from the back and pull forward to the forehead. This is the best way to control your hair.

Once you wear the wig cap, if you find that your hair is not worn, put it under the wig cap. A hair clip that criss-crosses along the hairline, usually at the temple, to better secure your hat and hair.

Option 2: Use skin color bars

This choice is simple, but the material can be a bit expensive and can damage natural hair because it needs to stick the tape to the biological hair. Although it gives you good protection, the longer you wear, the more hair you take off at the end of the night.

This method was previously recommended when wigs were popular, but wig wearers have begun to evade because there are now more effective and safer alternatives.

Option 3: Get it right

This is a very straightforward one, but if you are not a fan of using a hair gel to wipe bio hair, this may not be your method. If you don’t like to use the product, you will find this method is very effective in hiding the hair under the wig. Use a super-retaining gel, or keep the hair gel at maximum, then comb the product evenly throughout.

Next, the hair is wound around the head to form a honeycomb shape. This prevents the hair from gathering in any particular area and forms a bulge under the wig. Then put on your wig cap! For added safety, the wig cap is attached to the hair with a hair clip at the temple of the hairline.
