Hey y'all and welcome to lazy, Beau's boutique, ribbon, sculpture tutorial tonight. I'M just going to show you all how to make a really quick but really cute 3 layered heart on a little alligator clip. It'S just really really simple! Then it's really cute. So here are the supplies: you're going to need you're going to need 3/8 inch grosgrain ribbon, and you can use three different, colors or 1 different color or two different colors. Whatever you want, you just get creative. With this. This one I made red and the one I'm going to make free all right here is going to be pink, so you're going to need 3/8 inch. Grosgrain ribbon you're going to need one piece: each one, six inch long, one five-inch 1/4 inch and that's all the ribbon you're going to use and then you're going to need a partially lined alligator clip. So technically you are going to need more ribbon, but on your partially lined alligator clip - and I hope you all know how to line these alligator clips, there's a lot of tutorials on YouTube. I like to do copycat tutorials. I mean if y'all want me to just say something in the comments, and I will do a tutorial, but there's so many on there right now anyway, that you can figure out how to partially line an alligator clip. But anyway, then you're going to need some little tiny, jewel decorations if you want to put on the heart. So what you're going to do is take your 6 inch piece and get this there. You can pause it. Okay, now, of course, you're going to need your source of fire for heat seal on the ends, and you just run it along the ends. I'Ve already heat sealed these you're going to need hot glue and scissors and measuring tape to measure out your ribbon. Obviously, but anyway, let's get started so you're going to take your 6-inch piece and what you want to do is find the center of it so just fold it in half like this. Okay and if you have printed ribbon, you're going to want to fold it with the printed ribbon the print on the inside, because basically this is going to be the hard part we're going to fold it around like this and around like this. So you're going to want your printed part to be inside. I was looking to see if I had a piece of printed ribbon handy to show you give you a visual, but I don't seem to got a bunch of solids laying around anyway. This is what you would do if you had a printed piece of ribbon. You would fold it with the print inset like this, that that's how you're going to fold that backward blocks okay anyway, so you just fold it in half, give it a little crease to find your center point right there, okay, now you're going to put a little Lot of glue across the top again, if this was printed you'd, be gluing on the right side of it, where the print is just put a little bit of glue in there and then fold it back in half again so see it's got a pinch spot right In the middle - and you can make that pinch but as deep as you want, but I just start with a little bit because we're going to put two more layers on it. So now you take your next or just smallest size fold. It in half find that little crease now you're not going to glue this right here, shut like we did that one you're actually going to glue it to the bottom of that so put a little line of glue across it like that, and then take this one. Where it's folded and lay it right in the center and fold it up around it make sure that it's even now you leave that one around it and then the same thing. With your last piece fold it in half give it a crease. I can't see my crease a little glue in that crease and do the same thing again that we just did don't fold it in half like the first piece glue it to the bottom of this. One right here make sure you got it in there lined up now. You'Ve got all those pieces together like that. Okay, now, as you can see, if we try to start folding, it's going to get all weird on this here, it's going to go all out like that. So now you want to take your alligator clip and glue this folded section right here right on there straight up and down like that, and you kind of want to glue it toward the end, but make the bottom of it even at the bottom of the alligator. Clip like right there, you want to put it up here or down here, let's put it right on there and just find where you've included it, because you don't want to like put glue all the way up your side right. There just put some rap there and then glue it on your alligator clip. Okay, remember it should stand up like that. Now you take your two on the bottom right here, your two short ones: okay and you're - going to glue them together and be careful not to put any creases right here in this loop part. I mean you, don't really pull down against it, because you'll put some creases in it and you don't want to do that. Just put them together ends together again it's folded down and just stick them together, like that, okay, we're not putting any fancy loops or nothing in this. This is just a simple little heart put a little glue on the bottom. Let me clue that together, like that, give it a little backward push now you take your next two down, but we're just going to take one side of it for now, because you're going to fold it down and glue it to the side even to the bottom Of that one right there just like that on that set, so we've got that first, one that we did you're just going to fold this down and we're not going to pull it down past it or nothing you're, going to glue it right. On the end of that right, there, like that okay same thing on the other side, just fold it down right there add it to that side of it be sure to straighten it up and glue it right there. Okay, that's two layers go backward pushed fluff. It out now take your last one down and glue it on the bottle. Exactly like. We just did that other one, okay and then the last one fold it around glue it to that side, and you should be getting the hang of this by now. Okay, if you got glue oozing out on the end down here, just pull it off or cut it off. Take your little scissors and cut it off. If you didn't glue it perfectly straight, you can snip it straight and then be sure and heat seal it, but basically just give it a little fluff. And basically it's done. You just got to decorate it now. So just take your little jewels and I have to put glue on them. That'S the sticky that comes on just isn't enough to suit me. If you're gon na have little kids wear and I'm you don't want these little jewels to come off, see if I can do this without dropping it absolutely can't do anything with my left hand, so I dropped it. I glued it to my tweezers. Well, there was a failed attempt. You know what I'm just gon na put some glue on here. We'Re good pick off any extra glue that used glue everything to everything, except where it's supposed to go anyway. I'M gon na have to clean this up, but that's what you do and if you wanted to, if you don't want a big open heart like this another way to do it is to take this whole thing and push it clear up to right there and glue It and you still have a heart. Some people like the way that looks you can even glue it upward a little bit more put a bow at the end of it, where that jewel is instead put a bow down there. Instead, it would look like that or you can just leave it open as a big heart like that see. If I can get the rest of the decorations on here and there it is, you can make these in all kinds of different colors glue, strings hold it. This funky angle: here we go yeah, but anyway you clean it up, get all the glue strands off of it, get it decorated up. However, you want it and that's how you make a simple three layered heart Clippy. It is ready to wear thank y'all for watching
