I will be having a meet-up February 8th at new realm brewery from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. see you there. This is the first time on star poppy versus styling, but actually sad, my hair and, like it Danielle. I do too much. I, like here talking cosplay, music, art and stuff happy valentine day hello and welcome back to star papi, I'm Danielle you're, very obviously resident weirdo. If you haven't seen already, I did pretty much the opposite of this vibe how to spot a toxic relationship. So you don't mess up your life on Valentine's Day or any other day check it out. It came out on Tuesday Taeyang editing it aka future Danielle here turns out, since I upload on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Now that video is coming out, this upcoming Tuesday see you there, but today is on the other side of that. Vibe today is another episode. Oh, I am going special thing tomorrow with maybe somebody, maybe by my damn self. It doesn't really matter now. Does it because I can be my own Valentine, because I love me more than anyone possibly could, except my mom and my dad and my sister and my sister and my brother and my best friends but other there. I am number one a lover of me, and so I know a lot of us are going to be trying to slay these hairs, honey and me too, and then cutting it kind of close. To be honest, this is going to be some high stakes styling. So under here is a crime guess who didn't tie up their hair last night I'll wash my hair and do the loc method and we're gon na come back. We'Re gon na do our best and pray and wish and hope and meditate and lo I'm washed deep, conditioned and whatnot, and I realized that I didn't actually tell you guys what style I'm going for. Oh, my god, she calls herself on YouTube. I'M going for a bantu knot out besides the twist out. It is my greatest enemy. It has done me so dirty, but it's not going to be a true bantu knot out. It'S going to be something called cocooning, you'll, see and I'll make a more competent video down below, but before we get into the styling portion. I want to introduce you guys to today's sponsor me because I made this and wouldn't you know what I've made some new merch, because it's the month of love and that includes self-love. We have hoodies sweaters, pillows and t-shirts available in multiple colors in each check. It out and for a limited time only because you're so cool and thank you for watching this video - you can get 10 % off by using this coupon code, happy shopping. So in the back I like to do smaller sections, so I have more hang time, but in the front I do larger sections, so I have more volume. So I have like a three finger width specimen here with which to style and looking pretty alright gon na. Take little pinch next, probably more a little bigger pinch. This gon na apply towards ends pretty generously. I can work towards the middle and then Rob to distribute, evenly split, distribute, distribute thin. Take it twist. It twisty twist twist twist twist a twisty twist twist twist and wow that got really white hate that give it a twirl at the end around then here's here's, here's the kicker like that going forward I'll, be uploading on Tuesdays and Saturdays Saturdays are obviously haircare so Tune in on Saturdays, if you're just into hair care and then on Tuesdays, we'll be more personal. More like that 20s talk more like that, storytime more like that figuring out, if you're in a toxic relationship, those kinds of things boy, oh boy, I hope this residue goes away. Yikes, so I'll see you guys tomorrow. I love love beam by divining. Let'S see what's going on on Doyle, na woo scalp gang now I will say I was under my dryer this guy for about 45 minutes, because when I put grease on my hair, apparently things don't dry as I found out last time. And what do you know? It'S the same, this time smoke. So, let's start taking these down honey things are off to a promising start. Wow also they're doing yard work now, so we're all gon na have to deal with that. Okay, I'm gon na go pick this out be back, and so I really never styled my ear on straight out of the shower hair, but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf of embracing short hair right now. But what I can't stand isn't the length it's how this is just a regular fro and I can get this for free without having to painstakingly style my hair check it out. This doesn't particularly strike me as all that different from my regular hair, so like it's pretty cute, it's pretty cute they're really loud, I'm sorry guys, but I wouldn't just wear this as a valentine's look by itself. This is not striking me as anything particularly special when it comes to how I usually stand there, which is usually in an afro in a wash and go or in a scarf. Those are the that's what you're gon na catch me in most of the time. So let me see if I can make this more valentine's day appropriate, because i just how i like to celebrate valentine's day is doing something a little more special. So let me see what I can do well, they're still doing the lawn, so that kind of kills the mood. But I think I snaps got out of the fire right when in doubt Mohawk that night night Danielle realized us, but she couldn't sleep because in our heart of hearts she knew that she was you better better for you guys, but also also for herself, that worked Out what I ended up doing was using the lot of body, which is the current reigning champion of star puppy versus shrinkage. If you haven't seen that playlist click here, it's a whole saga. If you enjoyed this, you will enjoy star puppies versus trinkets. Let me tell you, but also I ended up using the pomade from curls put a picture right here. Sorry, editing me: okay, that's all I used to set. I used these four types, these four types of flexi rods, guys this is the first time on star poppy versus styling, but actually stabbed my hair and like it. If you're wondering what I'm wearing it's this lovely 70s moment, slash vampiric, moment 70s vampire a 70s vampire who wants to continue her human career of styling hair. It literally took a lifetime for her to master the art of natural hair and how she goes from village. To village, I guess styling at your hair week on NBC, this necklace is from la basílica de la sagrada familia barcelona españa. I like it a lot. My hair is so dry guys. I think the thing that is versus four-star puppy is not the style. It'S the dryness, that's keeping my hair from being able to hold a style. This is good guys. This is good. A style actually came out well because my hair is becoming more healthy. It'S becoming more moisturized, it's becoming able to hold more moisture, and this is absolutely going to be my Valentine's Day. Look. What am i doing on Valentine's Day. I don't know Luke and cute, I suppose so yeah guys. What hairstyle are you gon na wear on Valentine's Day and do you like my flexi rod set? You can tell me, but actually no one can tell me nothing. I do this is the most successful style I've had months. Thank you so much for watching make sure that you check out my new merch. The design is called I heart, my hair, because if you have naturally dry kinky, 4c, often short, often betrayal, extremely sensitive, very, very, very easily to fall out fine strands with sparse density. Like I do, your emotional hair journey was a long one. I upload on Tuesdays and Saturdays check me out on Tuesdays for Tuesday talks, which are usually heart-to-hearts or art, star puppy versus something Saturday, where I start poppy verse, something usually styling moisture. Just my hair in general, please, like this video and share it really helps the channel out, helps me get knocked up a few pegs in the algorithm, so your girl can eat. This has been me. Danielle your resident weirdo star, puppy, signing out, say with me now star copy, oh forget, to Like share subscribe. If you enjoyed the video only takes a moment for your eyes to meet hard nose, mmm

Kennethab13: Anyone else getting lowkey black Disney princess vibes with her singing at the end?

is that a chicken?: SHE COULDN'T SLEEP BECAUSE HER BONNET WENT MISSING !!! But also because she wanted to do better But also her phone in her mouth I'm getting Tracee Ross teas from that redlip ma'am

Gilda: Bantu knots are hit or miss for me and its more miss than hit *sad face* I still try cause deep down I'm a hopeful idealist. Flex rods for the win!! Your hair is cute!!

Jessica Bloxom: The end result with the flexi Todd is so cute and the red lippie, I'm here for! Next time, put your hair in 2 strand twists and then put the twists in Bantu knots. Hopefully your results will be different. That's the only way I do Bantu knot outs. I've never did a flexi rod set before and now you got me considering it

Lioness Beloved: In my head, you are my good friend. We met in 2012, we've only had one argument. You know more of my secrets and I know yours, but that's because you have no secrets. And we go for Frappuccinos and turkey egg and cheese on a croissant from Dunkin Donuts every Wednesday before work.☺

Ashley K: She SNAPPED! Im so here for this whole look!! The HAIR that top my compliments to the chef.

dorcas glaydor: I love my resident weirdo: she's so patient with her hair! I admire the way you cover EVERY STRAND of hair. It's what makes Bantu knots that juicy.

Ash O: Your hair is a perfect length to do a little curly bang and poof. I think that would look super cute for Valentine’s Day! I love how the flexi rods turned out!

farfrompleasant: Dang... I’ve held this inquiry to myself for too long so I’ll finally ask. Danielle, how are you able to do your hair without messing up your clothes? Like how? Black magic...?

Very KinkyCurl: Have you ever considered doing voiceovers?! Or documentary narrating from some sort?! I just love you!!

Andrea Potter: Starpuppy looking fancy AF

Kefilwe Sebolai: You should do videos where you review different hair growth trends in the natural hair community e.g: rice water, aloe scalp treatment, bentonite/ rhasul clay ect.

Giggles Gee: I've found that three strand twisting my hair and then wrapping it into a bantu knot gives me pretty good definition. My hair is a mix of 4b and 4c, more 4c in the front and 4b in the back.

Naturally365: That mohawk looks very cute on you. Plus, the curls are defined and moisturized. Overall, your hair looks very healthy since the professional trim ‍♀️. Keep it up .

poetic walrus: The excitement from your hair turning out was one we've ALL felt. I got so happy for you

Linger Magazine: The flexirod set look is amazing on you!

Katherine Miller: This video is everything! Styling, humor, singing! My day has been made!

Thee Devine1: As SOON as I heard her say " Happy VALEN-PINE DAY" I was like ok let me buckle up for this ride lol... this editing is

Anna Nicole: I’m old but u r incredibly weird BUT I LOVE ❤️ IT aka the exact replica of my younger awkward self... I was totally misunderstood and under represented then. Thank u so much and I enjoy your channel

sdholt4: Yes hunty! You know it's a success when you bring out the red lip!

Queen Z: StarPuppy, I'm so in love with your vid content and I've just discovered you. You're great in editing, music choice and keeping us entertained with your overall hyper energy personality. Plus you're dropping 4c hair product results.. pluss you're mad beautiful ..sheesh ❤️

JuCraisin: Your hair looks great and I love the outfit!

Lexi J: Your skin looks so velvety and moisturized ✨

Malika Macey: I literally love the dramatic and theatrics of your videos, Danielle ❤️ You have me over here cackling at my phone for 10+ minutes Thank you for doing this ✨

Natasha Savoy: Hi, I just wanted to stop by and say that your style came out absolutely stunning your hair is always gorgeous and I'm so happy that you found something that works for you. ❤❤❤

Estiee U: "often betrayal.." that's how I feel with my 4c shrinkage. The betrayal is real :')

Moriah Barrett: Omg I felt that! That hairstyle was a win for both of us, your fellow 4c high porosity, low density sista! I'm totally going to (attempt to) rock that look!! Seriously you give me so much hope

Bmolikeme: The hair turned out so beautiful i couldnt stop smiling here's to hoping my hair one day falls into a beautiful style lol

Constance Troutman: Honey!!! You are HILARIOUS! "She knew she could do better...for you and for herself!" Then that walk of determination to re-style sent me, cause I do this kinda stuff, too! Truly informative and entertaining...and relatable. Keep up the amazing content. : -)

NAIKOchan17: That triumphant smile with the bold red lip at the drop was everything I needed in life lol! You look so happy and the hairstyle turned out BOMB af! I love that you love it. If you try this method again with the flexirods it would be cool to see you do it again in more detail. But honestly your happiness at the result was the best part of the video (also the editing...and filming let's be honest because holding a phone in your mouth over a sink while dancing is some risky shit goddamn!), I could feel your excitement through my screen!

Flora Boa: Hey Danielle just wanted to say that I love the quality of your videos, your creativity and witty sense of humour. I truly appreciate what you’re doing with your channel and support you in everything.

Keke B: Yasss you look so goodt! I just cut off my hair. I’m not all the way comfortable with having such short hair, but my hair deserves better from the way I’ve treated it in the past. I’m ready to start my journey.

Fer H: I have straight hair, valentine's day was about 4 months ago but I'm having a marathon of StarPuppy, at this point I feel we're best friends, I love you! Saludos desde México:)

Evette Holloway: StarPuppy has a beautiful created style now! APPLAUSE!! (Elated smiles of appreciation and standing OVATION from fellow sparse density extremely dry thin strands 4C hair!! In addition, kudos to you for beautiful talented self and great-looking merch!

HiFluffy420: You absolutely slayed!! You're so inspiring StarPuppy!!

ThisisCourt_TV: "happy vampire noises" lmaooo !! love it your hair has changed drastically since your natural hair salon visit! Giving us sparse density hair girls hope!

Chaniece Vaughns: Girl, you are hilarious! Don’t know if I come here for the giggles or the hair battles ‍♀️. Love your final results!

TheDivineFeline: Thats exactly how my bantu knot out ( I had the bantu knots for 4days)came out so I wore it in a puff and I liked it better the 2nd & 3rd day of the puff. But your hair with the flexi rods came out beautiful. And I just bought that curls paste (which I heard is great to use in the hair) & that lotta body mousse. I might just try that combo!

CYD2: You are just super cute! I loved how your hair looked each of the 3 versions in this video but I get it with the whole "I did all that for this?" feeling. I am definitely a card carrying member of the T4C hair crew. The shrinkage is real! But I love it!

Anissa: This is cute Danielle! The look and everything! ❤️ Also red lipstick looks really good on you!

AVVONDA PARKER: Let struggle. I battled with styling on my 4C hair for years and decided, sisterlocks was the answer. I was over it...I just found your channel and your adorably hilarious!

Rose Brown: I love her!!! My hair is just like this. Sparce density??? didn't even know this was my problem until I ran across her videos. Thanks for sharing your hair journey.

r stephens: Your videos always make my day. AND give me hope bcuz we literally have the exact same hair and you always have the cutest styles. LOVE the flexi rod set!

Kierra Hobdy: I loove you so much!! You are the person I wanted to see growing up as I was super self consciousness about my weirdness and quirkiness!! You are also the person I wanted to see when I went natural and had to do my hair myself when I was 15!! Im 20 now, but I'm so grateful to have found a person like you on Youtube!! I definitely want to meet you and buy your merch someday (alas I am currently a broke college student) but thank you so much for being you!! You are awesome !!!

K.W. McCabe: Have you used Melanin hair care products yet? I just found you on YouTube and I'm binging your vids, but haven't watched all yet... Btw so glad to have discovered another black, crazy, weird nerd like myself

Dee'Shonn Shuford Ballard: I just found your channel today and you have truly tickled me! I have the same struggles and this made me feel a lot better!

Darth Chocolate: You're out here teaching us to do magic thank you girl luv ya❤

Shanay Dee: Bantu knots are also a hit or miss for me as well, I get more definition with twist outs, now you know flexirods are your thing, the end result was amazing

Gabriele Stahnke: One of my favorite parts of my Saturday morning routine is watching your videos.

iateyursandwiches: When it comes to thin and low density hair, you often need to choose between frizz and volume. If you want definition, you will have to deal with your hair being scalpy/thin by not separating too much if at all or just picking roots to help conceal the parts. The only way to get around that I've found so far, is to use products that are volumizing yet don't weigh the hair down like mousse. That's probably why your hair comes out best when you use lotta body. When I did a flat twist out with the Curls twist cream and that mousse, my twist out was everything! It had a good mix of volume and definition. The flat twists are perfect for thin hair. Even if your technique isn't good enough to wear the twists out, it's easy enough to learn with a day or 2 of practice. There are many tutorials. The volume that comes with it is perfect along with less frizz. Your hair is already fully separated with the flat twist out. You just need to take your time. The better your technique with installation and take down, the less frizz you will have. It's also important to twist your hair in the direction you want it to fall with the sections you make, especially when your hair is short. Give it a try!

Vera BLEXIT ASAP: That looks so awesome. The latter style looks Valentine's special

Adora Howell: Well I see someone is in the Valentine's spirit. Why was I super excited when I finally noticed we have the same blow dryer? We must be connected, lol. I would definitely watch that if it were a show on NBC

Rachel Dunn: bantu knots were my go to when i was transitioning but ive only tried them once on my hair since being completely natural and it was big ol no lmao. loved your end results w the flexi rod set!!

RaDiO_monster1324: First, love your stuffed animals. Second, I love how happy you are with your hair results. Keep it up

TresFantastic: I love your videos so much! And I love the way the flexirod set came out ☺️

Rian Bee: Bantu knots are too my frenemy. The best set I had was after washing my hair and putting chunky twists in to dry and kinda stay stretched over nite. And then I did like spritz of water and oil and did the knots. Best set of my life. And then I realized, it would only be downhill from there

Alexandrea Owens: I loved this video so much!!!! I got me a shirt! So cute and I got enough money to finally purchase on of your fabulous designs!!!

Safiyyah Christian: You are a breath of fresh air with all of your hilariously creative and cuteness overload videos ☺️

Ashley A.: Girlllllll this is why I hate styling my hair! I could spend 26 hours putting in some rods and then take it down and it ends up in a fro I'm sick of it lol

sexyskydoll: Love the final out come. Your videos are so entertaining. I have 4c desert dry hair also. TFS❤️❤️

Freddie Bee: So we’re just casually sleeping in the curtains now

Janine Mundell: FYI. You are the first true true 4C texture I have found on YT. I am also on a quest to improve my moisture levels. Keep up the good work!

midnight magic: Lmao 7:32 is how I feel when I've put in time and effort to style my hair and it turns out looking like I've done nothing special at all.

K.C.: I love how her dark skin looks like a natural eyeshadow

Elena Betha: Danielle, omg your hair and outfit looks AWESOME. You are beaming with Pride. Good for you

Jermaine Au Natural: This flexirod set was super super cute! I was right there with you tho in the beginning, like, hmmmmm, it’s okay but not giving me “special occasion” hair. KA-YUTE in the end though! I’m happy your happy with it!❤️

Toy Dubz: Your vibe is awesome!!! Reminds of my family and kids, so witty and funny!! Please stay this way!!!

October Ashley: Looooooove the new merchandise I need a soft stuffed doll. Gorgeous hair and fit. You are too cute.

Maya Arroyo Burton: I LOVE this video! I almost spit out my coffee. You are HILARIOUS!

Anaïs Edwards: My god your editing ends me. Your hair looks AMAZING! You look great.

Yannice Crawford: I love the vibe of the whole look too cute. ❤️

lil ghostie: Okay, if you like the flexi rod set then I think I figured out a style you'll like! Flat twist and curl. Very similar results, easier to sleep on. The trick is to moisturize and define like you might for a wash and go then flat twist about half way down and a curl rod on the end.

hugathug8: YOUR MEEEEERRRRCHHHHH❣️ It’s genuinely cute as frick. I imagine myself in outfits I want to recreate and the TShirt in white is PERFECT.

S.Shephard Shephard: Hi babes! Have you tried adding glycerin to your liquid hair products? It's a gem for me to maintain moisture in my hair (affectionately named Sheba - 4a/4b, medium density, medium to thick strands). In Ga it's pretty humid so it does a great job stealing moisture from the rest of the mere mortals (Muahahahaha).

Keysha W: Love how this turned out

mswtaz94: I have fine, low density hair and this is how my hair always comes out. No matter what I do. It’s thin so I have over fluff and loose definition. Maybe it’s the length. I like the Mohawk and the flexirod set.

MsJadeyO: Hey doll, I love love love your videos! I noticed that you use heat to quicken the drying of your hair. I have 4c thin hair too and i can tell you for. Fact that our hair loves to dry on it's own especially for a style like bantu knots or twist outs. Quit the heat and let your hair air dry.

Poto Mitan: You're so funny. This hairstyle is so cute. Well done!!

Bri Steve: you look so great oh my goodness!!!!! the flexirod set makes me want to try it on my own hair!! do you think you’ll ever do a tutorial on how you do your frohawk?

aylaybay: Your editing is the freaking BEST! <3 Stay weird, Danielle!

porichechannel: You would be perfect for a kids hairline products❤

christine1962ful: Came out beautifully! Did you use the same products for the flexi rod set? Will you do a video for this?

Tamara Stringer: I love this woman. Hella funny weird like myself and very informative!

Aliz Dix: Loved this video and loved the look. Outfit and hair is. Also I will be getting the merch. I love the design

Alarice: GURRRL! Those curls look SOOO CUUUTE! You nailed it! <3

Via G: Danielle if you still experience dryness with your styles, you should try Camille Rose products. I use the rice milk and Macadamia oil moisture milk, the sweet almond milk and honey twisting butter, the honey hydrate leave in conditioner and the ayurvedic brahmi and amla growth serum. It smells so good and is extremely moisturizing!

Latoya: I'm excited to for youuuu this style really came out great!

green byrd: Looks very cute! This is your look for 2020!

Quietstorm91: Scalp Gang here, 1st let me say that you are hilarious! I absolutely love you! Yes for the flexi rod set. And your outfit is cayuutte!

NotTheJen FromBackThen: This ...was...so...dang...funny! I loooooooooved it!!! Thank you for showing people to be themselves!!

Joy H.: Yyaaaaaassssss! The curls, red lip & perfectly white, straight teeth. U nailed it girl!!

Just Me, Kennie!: Yaaaaaay you did it! Your final Valentines hair style is so fire!

ArcticFirepixy: Flexi roods and curl formers for the win. My hair is short so I guess there are smaller rods . Thank you for this. The hair struggle is real

Raven Brinkley: Lol bantu knots are the vain of my existence too...oh! and I plan on doing passion twists for the first time for Valentine's day! So hyped! Also its confirmed, I will be there for the meetup!!

Tia: I watch because she’s soooo charming but I feel so bad that she’s struggling so hard with being natural. I can tell you some tips that worked for me. 1. Braids: they’re cute, low maintenance, plenty of styles and you can moisturize them while they’re in 2. Vitamins: gotta nourish the inside and out 3. When you want curls use “Hydra: The Curlformer”. It’s expensive but I’ve never seen my hair curl until I used this product. Watch YT videos on how to use it because it’s hard to figure out

Dasha W: i felt it in my heart when you said bantu knots did you dirty. everytime i get a different look, and almost everytime that look is a no go.

AshLee R Parker: Does anyone else do their hair when they watch Starpuppy?

Earlene Carson: Your hair turned out beautifully and you look so cute overall. Good video.

Renn Li: I searched for the "like" button 5 times in this video. I LOVED IT, You're so beautiful and creative

Vonshall: Very entertaining! Your hair turned out great.
