Get Ready With Me | Valentine'S Day Makeup & Hair!

Or you should know that I've got you on my secret admirer. I'Ve been watching okay guys, so today's video is going to be a get ready with me, Valentine's Day edition and we're starting off with the makeup and I'm doing my brows first, because I always do my brows first. But I'm going to go through this really quickly, because I do have a tutorial on how I do my brows so I'll link that below in case any of you are interested in checking it out. So now I'm gon na prom my eyes, I'm using an are smudge proof primer, which has been my favorite for quite some time now, and this is just really going to make your eyeshadows last all day, like your eyeshadows will not crease they won't leave. This is really a great primer, and now I'm going to use a transitional shade in my crease, and this is Bobbi Brown's antique rose and I decided to use this eyeshadow because the look I was going for was a very mob look, and this does have a Little bit of mauve to it, so I love you think this as a transitional shade, so mainly for the outlook. I used a little rock unzipped palette and you guys this palette is a Bay. I love it because it's neutral, but it has mob and Rose, go tones in it really really perfect. If you like, rose gold colors, then you need this palette in your life, so the shadow that I'm using right now is called unconditional and it's like a rose. Mauve color, so I thought it would be perfect in the crease and I'm going back with that exact same shadow and I'm just applying it all over my lid area. So I wanted to make the crease a little bit darker of a mauve color. So I went in with Mac's Pro Longwear eyeshadow in modulus, just to make it a little bit darker and I decided that I wanted to deepen the outer V. So I went in with unbridled from the lorac palette and that just deepened up the crease area and just gave it a little bit more depth to that and for mascara I'm using the MEK, hot and naughty, which I really like this mascara. It makes your lashes really long, but here I'm just prepping my lashes for the fake eyelashes. Just so everything blends together nicely and the fake eyelashes that I decided to use are the Koko lashes in a style risque, and I love this style because it gives you a little bit of ba-ba-boom, but it's not too over-the-top. So I think it's perfect. For date, night - and I don't know what I'm turning up to, but obviously it was something good, but yeah, I'm just applying these as close as possible to the natural lash line. So I went back into the lorac palette and I use the shade unreal and I just applied that to my inner tear-duct. Just to kind of you know add a little bit of shimmer since the entire is matte and I will have a full list of all the products listed below. So you guys can check out anything that I mentioned in this video. So now I'm just priming my face with the Marc Jacobs primer and I like this primer. I do notice that it's similar to the Too Faced hangover primer, that I really love so yeah. It'S a pretty nice primer, I'm gon na use another primer that helps smooth out a large pores, and I'm just putting this on my nose area. This is the Tarte arm primer and it's one of my favorites. It works really well, if you have large pores and for my foundation, I decided to do my Becca and NARS little cocktail. I love these two foundations together, like it literally gives you the perfect look, because the Becca foundation is really matte and the NARS foundation has more of a luminosity to it. So these two mix is just like perfection, so I love love love using this foundation together and the brush that I'm using is the makeup geek stippling brush, which is really really great as well. So now I'm gon na highlight my face a little bit and I'm using the Urban Decay Naked skin, full coverage concealer and I'm just highlighting underneath my eyes on my forehead a little bit my chin and then also on the side of my face. And this is just going to help my contour pop a little bit more when outside the contour and I'm using my Sephora number 56 brush to blend everything out. I love using this brush for under-eye concealer. It just blends everything perfectly, but when you're doing this, you just want to make sure that you take your time and just really blend out everything so that it just looks nice and flawless so yep. So now I'm just gon na sit the concealer I applied to my under eye with this Sacha Buttercup powder. You know probably already know how I feel about this. It'S really really great, especially if you're a darker skin complexion. It just works a really well. So if you haven't tried it, then I highly recommend it. So while I'm letting that bake a little bit, I'm just touching up my brows because the powder kind of got in there so yeah, I'm just doing that. Now, I'm going to brush the powder away, I just kind of let it sit there not too long. Maybe about thirty Seconds to a minute and then just like to sweep it away, and this just prevents any of the concealer from creasing. So now, I'm just going in with a buffer brush from makeup geek, just to get rid of any lines of demarcation. I'M gon na bronze the face up a little bit and I'm using this bronzer from Mac and I'm just applying it to my forehead and then also the hollows of my cheeks. Now I'm gon na contour, I'm using the Kat Von D shade and light palette and anytime. I use this palette. I like to mix the second and third shade together because it's perfect for my skin tone, so I'm contouring my nose a little bit just for a little bit more of shape and I'm going in with my NARS eita brush and I'm contouring the hollows of my Cheeks, just to make my face a little bit more chisel. I love this brush for contouring, it's perfect! Now, I'm going back with a larger brush and I'm just blending out the harsh lines. So I'm finishing off the eyes and I'm going back in with the shade. Unbridled from the lorac palette and I'm just smudging it underneath my lash line just to make it more smoky and I'm blending it out with a small fluffy brush. I finally got me another L'Oreal, sick, Aseema liner, but this one is in the shade charcoal because they didn't have black. But I'm just applying that to my waterline - and this is my favorite favorite liner for using on my waterline and I'm just going back and applied. Some mascara to my bottom lashes, so I'm gon na apply a little bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks and I'm using a Mac blush in the shade blush all day and it's kind of a mauve color. So I figured it would go well with the eyes so just popping that on my cheeks and for my highlight I'm using my Anastasia Beverly Hills, glow kit and gleam spraying a little bit of fix+ on the brush and then applying the highlight just to kind of Give it more of a sheen and pretty much. I just mix all four shades together. I love mixing these because it just gives you a really really pretty shade. So I just apply that on my cheekbones and on my forehead and I just blend everything and the lip color I'm using is beeper from colour-pop and before I apply the liquid lipstick. I lined my lips with a liner for Mac in the shade a world, so that was all for the makeup. Now we're gon na move on to the hair and I'm gon na be curling. My hair today, I'm using the new me three-in-one one, and this is like my favorite one ever I've been using it for quite some time now. I just swear by it because it's really great so it does have interchangeable ones. It has a small one, a medium sized one and a bigger one, which is really convenient because any type of curl you want to get. You can get it with this one one and I love the fact that there are titanium barrels, because it makes it really easy to curl any type of hair, and it gives you a nice poppin curl. So now I'm gon na work on the top portion and I'm just combing everything out with a wide tooth comb and I'm gon na put a few wand curls at the top, just for a more full loop and once I finish curling the top portion, I decided To go in with a flatiron for my bank areas because I just didn't really want them to be curly, so this is the megastar flatiron from nume, and I love this Flatiron.
