Wig Talk Wednesday! Valentine'S Special: Love Is In The Hair!

I think this is the first time since we moved that we're actually starting at 12 o'clock. Really i thought we were early one day. Well, we usually start out early, but then sometimes something happens. Hey everybody! Oh look! You got a cute little heart up. There misty you're so cool because we love y'all. I just it makes me feel so special because we have the same people and they're like. I know, hey beth thanks. This feels so special it does hey. Sarah we've had a great week this week, hi colleen. We have had a good week, wendy lisa. We got facebook youtube literally like competing right here, like we're they're going back and forth. Facebook just took the lead right there. We got two people from chicago, we got shells bells and lisa and plano it's not a very large town, so you may know each other. I'Ve never been chicago. Well, i say i used to live in chicago, but i didn't really live in chicago. I lived in lake bluff, which means nothing to me. Well, i guess it's kind of like playing out of dallas or something like that yeah, something like that. It'S a supper! I gretchen got two people: okay. I i hate to brush this, but we got a lot to do in a short time to do it. Okay, so usually you know, i chat a lot and you're kind of like we're gon na get on the schedule today. Um say i'm like: oh, i wanted to talk about the ice storm and we were closed for two days. Well, i guess i'm not going to do that. Okay, say it really fast. We were close today. I had asked for them, but it's back to what 60 something now yeah and a man at the container store had a conniption fit over me carrying a box in the parking lot. That'S how you know you're in the south i mean i'm carrying people in the north, don't have manners, but when you're i'm carrying this box - and this man comes out of the container store he's like man, stop stop and he's holding the cars that are driving by He'S like stop. Let me help this woman ma'am stop there's ice here, i'm like yeah. I was noticing that and so i'm still walking stop stop. So he grabbed the box and do you think that he thought? Maybe you look elderly, i thought. Maybe my friends called and said she's coming down there. If there's ice out there, you better help her. It was very nice. Okay, all right. What are we on? What are we gon na we're gon na? Do chocolate, strawberries, yeah? We are doing my favorite treat, it doesn't even have to be valentine's day, but it's just like you know. That seems to be like the official valentine's day treat chocolate, dipped strawberries, i'm sorry shells bells said in chicago. The man would have stolen her box. Well, certain parts of dallas that might happen too, but first, let's talk about what we have on. I'Ve got on unfiltered and shaded biscuit by uh raquel welch, yes, and i have on the um amelia by jon renau in the color 10 rh16, so yeah. This is, i, i think, that's a longer version of alba, which is why i love it, but anyway and um our lipsense. Even we tried to make it valentine's day. Deezy yeah mine is berry um because we don't have anything called strawberry, except for one and it's super bright, pink yeah. So i wore blue red, but i wore mystic berry gloss. Yes, i were both berries, all right, all right. So what we're gon na do? Y'All this is so corny, but you know us that's just what we are we're corny, okay, so um one of us is going to be the chocolate one of us is going to be. The strawberry, so um like, if i have on red kim, will have on something chocolate and if she has on red i'll, have on something chocolate. So some of these are stretching it with the names, but we tried to come up with everything that had like to do with chocolate and strawberries, so we're gon na do that? Yes, okay, well, bettina doesn't like strawberries. Oh, i didn't know that anybody didn't like chocolate. Strawberries, don't if you don't like strawberries, chocolate just makes you want it. I bought some for my friend and she was real sweet about it. No, oh, i love chocolate, so she and her husband. They don't like theirs, you know and they bite into it and the chocolate's all kind of has a little bit of a crunch and then the strawberry just number years ago, when we weren't as busy we had like we had nothing else to do so. We made a whole chocolate strawberry production line. We did we had it lined out on the countertop and if you were ever in our old shop, you know we didn't really have room for that, but it didn't matter we we had them on. Well, i try out stations we had like pans of chocolate, dipped strawberries. I don't know what was wrong with us and we wonder why we've gained weight. I don't know well because i think it's one of the healthier ways to have chocolate right because you have a little fruit yeah. You know that's like saying you know peanut butter and jellies. I didn't i didn't. I didn't get into the brushes okay, um, peanut butter and jelly's healthy, because it's got protein right, yeah, all right, so we're starting out with, as you can see, i'm the strawberry and i'm the chocolate wait. My tags got tangled strawberry swirl. I always think is going to be more warm than it really is it's really a cool red uh, it's not a deep red, but it's it's definitely cooler. It'S a pretty color. They just don't make it in very many things. You know, but this is rhys and i always think reese looks really pretty in this. You know just a little bit of a cool kind of so if you want kind of like something red with some blonde highlights, but you don't want it too coppery. That'S a good one and then of course, chocolate cherry. Has these really pretty violet um undertones to it, and this is brooklyn, which is by um jon renau, the professional collection yeah, the chocolate cherry is so pretty it's beautiful in every style they make someone's saying that they have ignite, but it's beautiful in january as well. It'S very fashion forward. It is, it is, but it's one of those colors. You would see out and go wow. Okay, we're not switching today. No we're not switching y'all got ta. Just like you know. Now i have someone watching in egypt. Oh welcome it's ap in there all right now, cam's gon na be the chocolate she's gon na, be my favorite we're so silly. You know who's gon na make us want chocolate. Do we even have chocolate back there? No i'm still rationing, those mallow cups from maxine. I think there's like two left there's two left: it's like those are down to those ones like i've. Just got ta have that mallow cup yeah they're good i've never even had those until she set them. Well, it's got coconut in it, so good. So this is alba chocolate, frost, misty's, favorite wig. She does a little beefy thing all right, and this is trendsetter which is kind of making a comeback. You know it kind of was one of those wigs you didn't hear about for a while. Well, now they're making it in an elite cap, so those misti's look kind of yeah. I like how you can love it, love it love it yeah. They just said they made it. They started making an elite cap, so it's got um. Is it fully hand tied or is it just the uh hand, tied top with the lace yeah just the top? So if you like, um high shear voltage, oh good sharon likes her uh alvin claire that we sent her good deal. Okay, somebody said that lost sound. I don't know what's going on because we didn't change anything okay, oh no! Oh my goodness, bettina says she just bought a baby ruth bag of baby roots. Oh i love baby. I haven't had a baby ruth in years. I'D love to be able to say that, but i can't all right next: don't you have this wig out the avalon chocolate smoke? No, i don't have it in chocolate, i have it. I have orchid and chocolate smoke. I have avalon and a couple other colors alva. The difference between alva and amelia amelia has a lace front and a full mono top alva's machine made a style-wise they're pretty similar yeah al is just a little shorter. Okay, don't you think than amelia? Well yeah. I know it is okay. Yeah i mean we can compare them in a minute, but you can just see right here. So what about a couple? Inches: strawberry frost? It'S got a lot more warmth than the strawberry swirl, but still kind of looks similar yeah and they generally have this um on all of the styles they make this in tony beverly. They don't have the highlight here at the nape. Even on the longer styles. It'S a pretty color, it's got a really good, um kind of a coppery kind of undertone. It'S almost like a natural redhead got highlights it's exactly what it is, that's, which is what i was about to say and of course, we all know the chocolate smoke just has that little bit of a blue tone that charcoaly blue smoky, i wish they made it In more things, but anyway they don't all right all right, moving right along i'm gon na. Let this on you i know, but at this point i'm like it would be obvious all right, i'm chocolate again cherry cobbler, my grandmother used to make cherry cobbler. I don't! I, like fresh cherries, i don't like anything flavored with a cherry. Oh my mom could not stay out of it. We'D walk in the house at my grandma's house and she'd have that cherry cola and we just sit down. We all sit down at the kitchen table with spoons back in the good old days yeah when you didn't have to worry about sharing i'll, say yeah. You just sat down with your spoon and double dipped and nobody worried about it. I never knew the name of this color. I just always knew it as the most vibrant red. I think that they make, and this is my hair - i all have a beret right there. So if y'all are wondering what's causing everything on me to look like an egghead is that um? This is a nice like kind of almost violet. I love that i knew i was gon na like that on you, especially with your all black today, and your red lipstick and your red love it. This is an overlooked wig. It is. This is carrie by noriko. It is so pretty. It'S all machine made the price point's great, it's a little bit of movement too. If you, if you like fullness, this, has great fullness, you don't have to work for it and it's got it's. I don't even know if i'd call it curl, it's just soft yeah um and i love that dark chocolate. Color all right someone's asking if chocolate smoke is like dark brown. It is dark brown, but it's got a highlight in it. That'S charcoal blue um. It you probably see more of the charcoal than you would the blue, but if you go out in the sunlight you can see yeah. It almost looks like steel, like you would like. I imagine like steel to me to look than the steel. You know yeah s-t-e-e-l. Yes, all right, she wants to know if we have any curly wigs that are in like a sunlight blonde like a boar's got shoulder length, you know what i don't know. I mean you got different varieties of peaches and my favorite peach is the white flesh, peaches and my grandmother had a white flesh peach tree and, oh, my goodness, those were just the best peaches, okay couple things about fiona number one. Is it on the website someone's saying it's not and uh fiona does not have a lace front. Fiona is fully hand tied. I'M sorry i thought fiona was there if not hi, beverly beverly's coming on saturday, i know i talked to her on the phone yesterday or monday. I can't wait, can't wait. Okay, this is our one. I don't want to say beef, but this is our one complaint about tony of beverly is that the pictures are so misleading. I mean a couple of my favorite: wigs are tony beverly, even if you look at the starly on their website, it's not that cute, but well, and i've talked to him about it and, in my blunt manner have just said. Your pictures are ugly and i was told well it's very expensive, dude, i'm like yeah, but if you want to sell your wigs, you have to take pretty pictures of the wigs, not ugly ones right. So it's just you know i mean i know i forgot my liner cindy just caught him at this point. I was like, if i put it on now, but it's going to draw more attention. That'S my cousin! This is the most exciting one. I think because angelica this one they made with a lace, front and angelica is such a beautiful wig. It'S gorgeous. Don'T you have angelic and whipped berry in the regular cap, not whipped berry. I have it in the uh, plum the plum berry jam, not plum. Berry jam, melted, plum, melted, i don't know all those plums so y'all. This is so beautiful and if you love purple and violet, this root is amazing. I have these on the website already. I think this is longer than a normal angelica. It feels like it. This is that real, pretty snowy white and that root is so vibrant. You know who has a color like um, who has a wig like this peggy german. She, i think she has the it's taylor, yeah taylor, taylor and the this mel whips. Berry is so pretty, but y'all you don't even know this. This is so pretty, but yeah, it's got a great lace front and they don't make an angelic with a lace front. No, they make an angelica partial mono, but this is the only one to my knowledge with the lace front in this color. Did you see my heart earrings? I did those were so cute. My friend becky from shady and katie sent them to me, love those. It is more white, yes colleen, it is whiter than illumina r. It is true white, and even though this is got the purple, the lace is still really natural. Looking yeah it is, you can see my widow's peek through there, but this is so beautiful, so beautiful anyway, these are on the website. Right now, they're literally i'm going to tell you just right now, there are only three there's yeah, there's three of each never have any more we're. Never gon na have it. This wasn't made for us. This was a special edition from the company, so um, if you want you better, get it so this is angelica large cap in wineberry r. I, like this color too. What is it this like? Is it aaron? I said this reminds me of jessica rabbit, oh yeah, because it had that real, pretty wave, and i mean it's just it's pretty. Oh, i love this wig yeah angelica is one of the. It reminds me it's different than orchid, but every time you put it on it looks gorgeous it hangs right. The layers are great. The movement's great um and this large cap doesn't feel extremely large to me, but that you know i'm i'm glad that they do um. They did put a nice march cap because sometimes large caps get overlooked. They do. He is hot in here that heater is working today, yeah it is oh yeah. This doesn't feel very, i mean it feels bigger, but it doesn't feel huge yeah. Oh, i just look at that with your beautiful blue eyes. It does not match my shirt. That is just stunning, so you may need that wig. I have never had this long of hair in my life, pretty okay, now there's one more okay pearson from the b-52s. I know the b-52s, but i couldn't if they you put them in a lineup. I couldn't pick them out. Could you maybe if one of them looks like you? Okay, so this is tori all right. This is tori in the wineberry r. They did a short bang. Tori and so um i have all of our addresses and things frannie's just mentioning pinning at the bottom of this um in the description. So the bang is short and kind of wispy. Yeah tori is a really cute yeah. She said: sheltered, really cute stacked bomb and i've wanted tori since i started here, but i don't have the forehead for it. So when they put this short bang out, i wish they'd done this in all different colors, but they didn't it just it works because if you cut a regular tory to fit a forehead like mine, the bang just ends up being really thick, and you know it's Really hard to kind of blend over here so um the way they did. This is great because yeah, the the other toy, is real heavy mm-hmm cute. Let'S see i'm gon na put it on and i'm just gon na fall in love that i can tell you right now. I need a whip with torrey in the red collar. I know she had it on earlier on, my kim, you look so emo and i'm of course i don't know what emo is. So we should look that up for me, but do you know how hard it is to find a red necklace? I don't know that i've ever looked so no, this is so cute. It is cute, i mean the the bang is. Definitely i mean you have to want that, but that's what really what's popular right now is that short choppy bang. That is like really short cute. It'S got a great and i like the neckline, i mean it's got a great fringe. Neckline and ryan paris is just super comfortable. Annette wants to know how to pack her wig she's going on vacation. I hope you're going someplace fun, turn it inside out and put it in a ziploc freezer bag and take the air out and treat it like your medicine. Does anybody carry it with you that would love this wig? I mean it's kind of those things you would like it or you want. I mean, is anybody watching? They think that you really like it? It'S kind of got a center part. It'S cute, it is cute. Maybe you need that one. Maybe i do maybe i do. Maybe i'll just keep it on. I love a short bang. I love it because i don't have my hairline here is too thin to do that.
