It'S the complexion for me, hey my love, so what's up and welcome back to my channel to girl, dana alexia and in today's video, we're gon na be doing a full get ready with me, which is why i'm overdue. I know um, i'm recreating this. Look that i did the other day you guys loved it and i loved it as well, and y'all have also been wanting to know how i achieve my little ninja top knot, whatever it wants to be, depending on the day bun. Now, i'm wearing everything that i'm showing you guys from deck of scarlet, so i'm wearing the bronzer, i'm wearing the blush and i'm wearing the lipstick. I love all of them honestly. So so, if you guys don't know what deck of scarlet is, i've worked with them. Quite a few times in the past, so they're not new to me, but they are basically like a high quality makeup brand. That is always creating new and fun like makeup tools and kits just always, keeping it really fun and cute and um compact, which i really really like. Everything'S super, like handy everything, is super functional, which i really really love and also a clean makeup brand. So these products that i'm showing you guys are 100 vegan and cruelty free. So first we have the flawless face kit, so we have the mistake, proof, bronzer and blush. So in the bronzer i have carnal in the blush we have brows in brazen and then we have the the double face brush and we also have the three-way solid lip oils, which are not just a lip oil they're, actually a lipstick as well. They have a lot of pigment, so what i really like that is super unique about the bronzer and blush is that it's actually a mist. Hence the name mistake um. So it's a mist and you would think it just applies like liquid and stays liquid. But as soon as you spray it and you start to blend it on your hand, it dries to a very smooth, almost powdery, like a liquid matte finish and it's super seamless, which i really really like, especially for me, because you guys know i use powders. So mixing um formulas on my face or textures, i'm not i'm very iffy about that. But, as you guys can see, my makeup turned out super super flawless, so we're good. The collection also comes with a large vanity bag and then also you get a pouch for the lip trio. So this is super travel friendly. I love this. I'M actually going to start using this, for when i travel whenever that is because y'all don't cope it and everything. But i love this because you can fit so many products in here, but the shape of it is honestly so suitcase or luggage friendly. As you can see, it's not super bulky, but it's super long. You can squeeze this right on the side and you can fit a lot of products in here as well, and i like that, it's clear, so you can see everything if you guys know the struggle of packing makeup and then like doing your makeup when you're on A trip - and you can't see where anything is, and you have your whole face of products or a whole full face of products in a bag. It'S it's very annoying. So i like that, it's clear you can see everything you can just grab what you're looking for. Also, the other thing that i really like about these products is that they're super natural looking for a bronzer, it's literally my perfect warm shade and it's not red. I have completely ditched red bronzers um. A lot of you guys know this. It'S not for me. I need like a perfect warm, almost cool toned brown and it's literally it's literally the perfect shade. So that's why i'm so happy just in case you're wondering you literally just spray and look at that. This is literally my perfect bronzer shade, which i really like and then for the blush. As you can see, it has a very like nectar, orangey peachy, um pigment to it, which, if you you're not new here, then you know that is right up my alleys, i'm gon na be showing you guys swatches when we get into the video for the lip Oils they're actually a combination of hydrating and nourishing oils. Then you have like a really nice pigment and then it also actually finishes off with the gloss which i really like. Y'All know, i'm i'm all glass, so the first set is called the naughty nice nude kit. So we got the nudes, i'm you guys know me, i'm obviously wearing one of the nudes, i'm actually wearing nude ambition right now, so i'll show you guys that one first um it's already pumped up because i used it, but you just click this, like a pen Literally and you just get it out of there, so that is nude ambition and i did an ombre lip because you all know me and then we have buff rose, which is, as you can see, a lot more rosy. It'S like a nice um. What do you call it like? A dusty rose, pink and then there's cocoa spice. I love this shade. Oh, i actually maybe should have did this one and, as you can see, these are all really gorgeous colors for my melanin girls, since he's very black girl friendly. These are nudes, okay, these are some really nice nudes, as you guys can see wearing it so and then, on the other hand, i'll show you guys the scarlet spirit sets. We got bordeaux baby, as you guys can see it's a burgundy and next we have merlot moves, which i actually really like, that name, that's cute. There we go and then lastly, we have scarlet passion which he already knows the scarlet red. Oh yes, look at that red. First of all, the application that went on so easy and smooth. So sorry, i have tried here, she's sleeping and she snores like a grown ass man, so yeah anyways um my favorite edge control that i normally use i'm out of so right now i just have the even this. One is good too, but if you have like 4a texture, hair or even 4b edge booster or was a style fact style factor edge, booster edge control is the best edge control that i've ever used um. I actually tried this one before and thought this one was the best, but no style factor is the best one, i'm all out um. My aunt just gave me this one because she had some left and you guys know we're on lockdown right now. So hair stores are closed. I have to like order online and then like go, do curbside pick up. I haven't done it yet because i've just been dreading it and she had some. So she gave me this. Thank you, auntie keisha, because great so yeah, i'm just gon na go ahead and refresh my edges and then do my bun um. I use water and edge control to slick my hair. I don't use gel because actually i like i do use gel. Sometimes it just depends. I have to mix it with edge control, but i'm also out of gel so yeah. This is literally what i do and then i go in with um edge control or you can use your finger first. You might actually get more use of the product that you're picking up and just put it on top boom. Look at that y'all have been asking me how i've been doing my buns girl. My buns are not even all that it's just some days. They turn out really cute out of luck. I have not mastered it. I need to figure out how to get the perfect bun every time, so i actually need a video um. My widow's peak is kind of growing back, so i need to tweeze that, but i can't find my tweezers so then i'm just gon na apply some at the back, because you know you can't be slick in the front of your hair and leave the back um Frizzy, yes, why? Why do men, i was gon na, say [ __ ], but i'm trying to not swear in today's video. Why do men from like? How am i now 4 24? Why do men from like eight years ago think that they can just message you, and so i just said: hey dana long time, no [ __ ], it's been a long time for a reason, sir, what the freak? Oh, my god! This is my song. I mean this is kind of self-explanatory, but for me i, like my buns, to be like right on top of my head. Oh sorry, guys, my arms are tired, um. I have hairspray my hair's actually really dirty, and on top of that, this is like a quick style that just i you do for like the next three days, especially with like working out and everything, so i'm literally leaving my hair like this for a few. Oh god yep today's bun is going to be trash, probably, but i just leave it like this for now so that i can tie it down and then you know how my edges be laid, and then i redo my button. So i'm going to tie my hair down really quickly and obviously by now. I hope you guys know. Satin scarves are the way to go all right, so we're gon na go ahead and move on to the space yeah. My brows, my brows, my brows, are you all know. I love me. The pat mcgrath primer, but i kinda wan na actually know this is what had my face sitting so we got ta use it. For this look. My face was sitting okay, so i'm gon na go in with this pat mcgrath skin fetish primer and apply that i probably should wax my upper lip, but we're just not gon na we're, not gon na pay attention to that today, i'm going in with the fenty Beauty, brown, mvp, pencil, black brown and honestly because my eyebrows are so thick um. I don't you guys, i i barely fill in my brows anymore, it's more so the sparse areas and just like to add shape, because i need that but and then on top of that, because the color is really dark. It'S a black brown. I really hate super dark brows on me, so i'm literally just lining where i want the shape to be. This is my troublesome brow. I filled it in yesterday and it came out probably the best. It'S looked in a while with makeup, so i'm trying to keep that shape going. You guys, i haven't even filled in the or sorry outlined the top. This eyebrow is my favorite eyebrow. This is my eyebrow like grown out. You guys see how easy, like i filled it in and um outlined it. This eyebrow gives me no problems and if anything, it looks better when it's bushy it makes no sense, and then this one is she's a lot to do with, but wow like wow. I could actually rock this look, but because i know this eyebrow is going to need concealer at the top wow that looks so good. It actually looks okay, you know what i'm going to leave it and outline this one. I just want to see something we can see something real quick. I realized that i actually had hair out at the sides for um my bun, because i like that i didn't take out as much as i usually do because, like there's gel on my hair, but while i was charging you guys, i pulled out some of my Hair at the side and put some shampoo and washed the product out, so i can straighten this up all right, all right, anyways. Finally, let's go back to getting to this face right now, i'm gon na go in with my favorite foundation. Y'All know pat mcgrath um. Skin fetish, it's so hard for me to say the full thing. Skin fetish, sublime perfection, perfection foundation. By the way you guys, i am in the shade, medium deep 23.. This foundation is literally skin all i've been wearing. Since i did the sponsorship in september october, i don't even know but yeah and i also use the foundation brush. I need to clean it, but i'm still going to use it because um yeah. I want to use it it's the complexion. For me, it has more of a natural finish, so i typically go in with a second layer, but you guys saw that i applied a lot on purpose because of that all right. So now i'm going to go ahead and cream, contour or bronze, i'm actually using a bronzer today and i'm going to be using the new deck of scarlet mistake: proof bronzer! This is from their flawless face kit. It'S like very light and airy. I don't know i just love the formula, so i'm going to apply it with also their brush. This bronzer is actually made with squalene algae, extract and ginger root, which actually helps to lock in moisture, boost, collagen levels and also minimize the appearance of pores, which i mean bomb oily or not. You need all the moisture you can get with products, especially because um, the cold has been drying out, our skin um you're just supposed to spray it onto the brush and then you're gon na apply it. Oh sorry, let's tell you guys and also, if you guys are wondering the shade that i'm in i'm in the shade carnal, which i'll put it on the screen as well, so i'm gon na actually apply some more of this. You guys know when i'm done cream. Contouring and highlighting i set everything with powder, so i'm gon na use this again, but i do want to snatch my face just a little bit more because my face in that picture was snatched like i contoured the hell out of my face. So i'm gon na go in with just a little bit of a deeper shade um, which is the. I think this is right after the shade. Actually after the bronzer, this is the makeup forever matte velvet skin concealer - and this is in the shade 5.4. I'M going to apply a little bit because i only just want um. I don't want to do too much because i already have on you guys know i just contoured already so, just to add a little extra snatching. I have been loving a more uh heavy contour on my nose. It has really been doing it for me. Some damn instagram filters. That'S why! But as long as you're blending it out you're good now, i'm gon na go in with the concealer that i was telling you guys about the makeup forever. Matte velvet skin 4.3 faking love this concealer, i'm gon na go back in with the mistake, proof, bronzer and set that cream looks so good, and let me not forget about my forehead. Actually let me just see how much product i have left on here. I'M just gon na do one spray. I'M just gon na apply some of that on my forehead. I kind of went a little crazy there, but i'm just gon na clean that up right here. I know you guys see that i'm gon na put it on my hand. First, whenever i over contour my forehead, my head, my forehead ends up looking way bigger than it is so just to make sure you know you don't do too much just setting that before i go in so now that, like i've set that cream in place, i'm Going to take some more of the bronzer i'm going to just spray, can you guys see that i'm going to spray one pump on my hand, i'm going to take my powder nose, contour brush? This is a fenty two number 240 brush. I'M gon na dab that product on the brush dab it onto my hand um. So it can dry because, like i told you guys it dries matte. So that's what i want before it goes on my face and then i'm just gon na set the cream with the powder. So you know, while i do that, i'm going to go ahead and do my eyes real quick, you guys know i've been keeping my eyes. Sorry i've been keeping my eyes hella neutral. Like that's just my preferred makeup. Look now i barely use shimmers honestly, alright. So for the eyes i'm gon na take the fenty beauty, snap shadows palette. This is the number nine one. It'S called wine and i'm gon na. Take so the shade right here, sherry fairy, i'm gon na use that on my crease we're building today so before i go in with that shade, i'm gon na take the number one palette, the true neutrals and i'm going to take, come and get it, which is A little bit of a lighter warm brown, what's wrong, baby yeah! Now i'm gon na go in with cherry fairy and put that in the outer crease. I love how they just yes like going in with the number five peach, fenty snap shadow palette and i'm gon na go in with. I think this is called peach me yeah and i'm going to put that on my lid and i'm going in very lightly because i'm going to go in with a shimmer on top. After i don't know, i've been doing this and i just like how it kind of mutes the shimmer. For me, i don't know, that's just been my vibe as of lately, so i'm just keeping it going so i'm gon na go in with high pumpkin, which is that bronzy. It looks a lot lighter on camera, but it's really like a bronzy brown shade but still want a little shimmer. It is perfect, so yeah. I hope you guys are able to see that, and so you guys and i don't always set well. If you do know, i don't always set my foundation, i'm not really one of those people to set foundation or to set my face with powder, but i've been doing this lately and it just gives you that extra smoothness, it's like, like a filter kind of. I don't know extra smoothness, which i really really love, especially when you have a textured skin. You guys know i've been breaking out. My pores haven't been, you know as seamless as they used to be so. I'Ve been feeling the need, sometimes here and there to go in with powder, and i use the i've heard, i'm sure by now. A lot of you guys have heard about this. This is the sephora micro smooth setting powder. This is literally like it's just like a little filter for your skin and i freaking love it. So i just set my face: nothing too crazy, not too heavy-handed either. I really just put this all over my face and it just does it for me, like yeah, my face is seamless i'm going to set my face, which means i got ta move these little strands um out the way, and i'm just going in with the morphe Mattifying setting mist, [ __ ] that went on kind of heavy, it's okay. When i take pictures after this, you guys my face is gon na be sitting like it's. It'S crazy definitely going to take advantage of this full beat face that i have i'm just going to apply this i'll i'll link this one down below for you guys as well, but i'm going to be using the dior one because girl i mean i kind of Went kind of crazy, i'm gon na tone down right here. I don't like doing too much. I use the same shimmer for my inner corner. Highlight i'm going to go in with this lip liner from huda beauty. This is the lip contour pencil in spice girl and then for my lips, i'm going to go in with one of the solid lip oils from deck of scarlet, i'm going to go in with nude ambition, so you kind of just press this button right here at The bottom to pump it up and then i'm gon na apply it. This is what the swatch looks like. It looks more pinky on camera, but i'm gon na be mixing because you all know i love you, my ombre lip and then i'm gon na go in with a very i lost my favorite one of my favorite lipsticks from huda, beauty, um, staycation, i'm so mad. So i'm just gon na take a girl's, got needs from mac and i'm gon na be using the fenty beauty, gloss bomb and cake shake as well. I'M just gon na this is really ghetto you guys, but this is literally what i do. Literally i'm going to be using the deck of scarlet mistake, proof blush. This is in the shade, brazen or brazen i'll show you guys what it looks like on my hand. It'S a nice like peachy nectar, i'm gon na spray that on this side of the brush, and i'm just gon na lightly, tap that on. Oh, it's so pretty you guys know! I love me like natural nectar, peachy brown type of blushes, i'm always wearing these kind of shades all right. So i went ahead and got changed just because y'all know once you do your bun, you better make sure you're wearing what you want to wear, because you don't want to mess up your butt, so um. Let me put in my earrings first actually my lopsided last one, but i'm going to put in my earrings. These earrings are so freaking gorgeous. I'M obsessed with these. I actually haven't worn them in a while they're from topshop. I got them last last summer, so my hair was super greasy and um had like hella product build up. So when i would try to do like my regular ninja top, not bun, my hair was so greasy and, like you know, when your hair gets greasy, it's not as like, fluffy and full. So i was trying to do buns that night and it was not working out like my bun was struggling, so i just grabbed some old bundles and um wrapped it around. So the only thing is that it did not match my hair texture, which typically i i don't recommend doing that. But it was an emergency because i was going out. Um wasn't my hair color, it was black and y'all know my hair is brown, so the bundles were brown. I'M sorry, the bundles were black, it was silky. My hair is naturally curly, so it was it didn't match, but it was. It was dark and i knew i was taking a picture with flash. You won't really be able to see the difference which you kind of can, but it's nothing too crazy. The pixel went viral, so it's cool. I don't know what it was, but it literally took me 40 minutes to do the bun like just to hook it in and get it. I had to redo. I used a bobby pin and i put it in between the track tucked it in and then wrapped it, and i had to redo it literally like eight times so, if you're good at doing that, then cool, i'm not gon na, do a tutorial with hair. That does not match my hair texture and tell you guys, which i don't recommend. Okay, it was a one time thing, but my hair is actually long and full enough to do a bun. My bun yesterday was so freaking cute, so my hair is still super greasy and way down, but not like the day. I wish i was doing this look like not that bad um excuse me. So if you guys have any tips and tricks on how you do your buns - oh my god, my roots are so puffy from my workout but ciao, and i have hairspray on my hair from yesterday's bun. Okay, i'm gon na get it really really tight, or at least attempt to this is key to a nice bun. This that's already [ __ ], it's already blocked. I can feel right here: [ __, ] y'all. This is a once in a while thing. Where i get my ponies to be super nice and tight, but i lowkey think i should have, can i do it one more time it might be too late. Let'S see how this turned out. If i do it like this, it's not going to give you the shape i want, but hey you never freaking knew [ __ ], let's see um, it's actually not that bad what's happening hold on. That'S actually not bad like. If i add some hairspray, that's what i did yesterday, i do find that when you do the bun this way, your bun tends to be like fuller, which, if you have a big head or you don't really like your head shape. Like me, i need all the fullness i can get without being too big, i'm going to take the got to be free spray. I don't know what i'm going to do about this piece there you guys here is my outfit that i wore fire right. Yes, fire! Alright, so earrings, like i told you guys, are from topshop, then i have this super cute, um mustard, yellow satin corset, i'm getting so many questions about this. You guys, unfortunately, i bought this like a year ago at urban outfitters, and it was on the clearance rack like i just got lucky and grabbed it, and it's actually funny, because i bought a bunch of stuff and when i looked at the receipt when i got Home, the guy didn't even charge me for this, so i actually got it for free but anyways yeah, and then we got these. You guys know how i feel about my leather pants, so the pants are from misguided and then i have these super cute heels from jean vito rossi. They go perfect with this top because see the deep okay, sorry, my foot is dry, but the details in the heels go perfectly with this corset girl and then i just accessorize it with my black and gold, marc jacobs, box bag and then um these earrings, and This thing you guys actually can't find my bracelet that you guys know i always wear from missouri, but it looks so good with this outfit. It was just super cute and dainty, but like still bold um but yeah, this is my outfit. Are you guys? So what that brings us to the end of today's spoil get ready with me.
