Faux Hawk On Natural Hair | Day 12 Of 12 Days Of Christmas Series
This tutorial on how to do a twisted faux hawk is great for any hair texture. It's a perfect holiday hairstyle for the season! :)

Hey guys welcome to my channel it's Kelly. Today'S video is actually number 12 of our 12 days of Christmas series. We are done guys yay. Thank you guys so much for watching all of my videos liking. Commenting especially like I love to hear what you guys have to say thank you to all my new subscribers that have watched all my videos and subscribed because of it. So I really appreciate you guys. Thank you so much for all of your love. I would definitely love to do another series again, I'm thinking maybe sometime during Valentine's Day or maybe mid year - definitely another 12 days of Christmas and December. So I really like series like this, where you guys can be interactive with me. If you guys have any video ideas that you may want to share, let me know in the comments section I'll be more than happy to do those for you throughout the course of the year. I'M really interested in hearing what you guys have to say. Today'S video is actually on this mohawk twisted bun updo is something I thought would be really cool and funky and stylish. So I hope you guys really like this video. Thank you again so much for your support. Hey guys so right now, I'm just showing you that I left three sections out in the back and a front section for a bang. You are going to need ponytail, holder and bobby pins for this style. Now, with my gel and brush, I'm just going to brush up the back and sides of my hair and secure it into a ponytail. I looped it about three times three or four times I believe, and then I Bund it instead of using pins to make a bun I just kind of left. I didn't pull all my hair all the way through, and I am Fanning that hair out to make a little bit of a you type of a shape. Then I'm just going to repeat that same thing with that second section and just make sure you smooth your sides for a sleeker. Look and again don't pull your hair all the way through that last time and fan your bun out so that it will make a u-shape. Now, with this large section, I'm also going to smooth it down with some gel and my brush and I'm going to secure it with a ponytail holder and I'm going to make it a ponytail instead of you know, leaving it like the other two buttons. Now you want to separate your hair in the middle and you're going to finger roll each of those sections and what you're kind of looking for is a bow type of shape, so you want to make that section into a bow. Now, with this front section, you want to separate it into three sections. I did use my fingers to lightly detangle my hair in the front, and I also use that shea butter mix from alakay naturals to moisturize my hair, I'm going to roll it in my fingers and then pin and tuck, and just repeat that with all the other Two sections just finger: detangle roll, the hair and tuck, and you can make these as tight or as loose as you like. I like it a little bit more full because I like the drama, but you can definitely make this a little bit smaller. I'M just pinning in place just to make sure it doesn't go anywhere, and this is the final look guys. I really hope you liked it. Thank you guys so much for watching and until next time, bye,

What I found out was that I was having an allergic reaction to loofah sponges. I stopped using them and instead of soap, I started using Dove body wash and immediately they cleared up.
