Valentine'S Day Get Ready With Me // Hair & Makeup

Hi guys it's justine, welcome back to my channel and welcome myself back to my channel because it has been an extremely long time since i've been here. I think it's probably been almost two years since i last made a video, but the time has absolutely flown by so it hasn't felt like it's been that long, but um, i'm here now so hello. I might disappear for a long time again, but uh it's nice to see y'all. So today, i'm going to be doing a bit of a valentine's day. Look slash, get ready with me, slash, hair, styling, ish, sort of thing, i'm kind of going to be doing what i do for my normal day-to-day hair um, but my hair is kind of pink right now it was like a bright cotton, candy pink uh about a Month ago and it's faded to kind of a rose, goldish blush peachy sort of shade, and i got my nails done for valentine's day, so i thought it'd be fitting to do a little bit of a pinky valentine's day. Look also. I got this huge under the skin pimple on the tip of my nose, which also adds to the valentine's day. Pinky, look kind of look like an e-girl with the blush on the nose, but it is indeed a very painful pimple. So i won't really be incorporating that into the look today, but it's here and wanted to join the pink fun all right. So i'm going to start off with doing my makeup, so i'm going to start off with the ordinary serum foundation um. This is the shade. 1.2 n, which is way too light for me, so i'm going to be using some of this honey bronze by the body shop, which is basically like a bit of a tanner bronzer sort of thing. You just add a couple of drops to your foundation. I'Ve used this for a few years. I really like it because it can take your normal foundations into a summer shade if you do get tan yeah. I'Ve been pretty much just using my fingers for most makeup these days, although i'm going to be putting on some blush and bronzer later with a brush, but i like to do my concealer and my foundation with just my hands these days. Most of the time i find myself just wearing a tinted moisturizer or a bb cream, so i usually don't really wear foundation anymore or like full face of foundation anymore um, especially because, like mom, is wearing a mask and like not really doing things, i need to Dress up for so just a light. Little bb cream is usually a tinted. Moisturizer is usually what i go for, but anyways i'm going to be just applying a bit of this just to even out some of the redness and discoloration. I have um also had a bit of a breakout on my chin recently, so i'm going to be covering up some of that. So a lot has happened in the last year and a bit since i posted um. This is a totally new environment because i now live in a house with some of my best friends as opposed to living alone. Um. It'S been really really amazing, like another reason that i haven't been posting um lately, it's just i've. I'Ve just been like really enjoying life. I'Ve been super busy with a lot of um big life, changes that have all been for the best um. I left my full-time job in last spring, so i've been fully self-employed since then, and i've been working as an illustrator and tattoo artist and graphic designer and doing some video stuff as well just fully working for myself for almost one year now - and it's been so Nice, so i've been putting a lot of my energy into that and youtube and other things have fallen to the wayside, but as things stabilize i'm trying to find like what i enjoy to do the most and putting energy into each of them as they feel right. So now i'm gon na go in with my nyx, my handy dandy, nyx hd concealer. This is in the shade of cwo4 okay, so i've received this um kat von d lock-it setting powder in the shade translucent. Well, it's not really a shade, but it's translucent um for a sephora birthday gift like two or three years ago, and i only opened it a couple of months ago because my other setting powder ran out. So here we go we're using some kat von d, sephora birthday gift, translucent setting powder now, okay, so now that the kind of skin is done, i'm going to go in with some bronzer and brush i'm going to be going in with the too faced natural face. Blush and bronzer palette here, so i'm going to be using sunny honey for the contour and bronzer and pink wink. For my cheeks, oh and satin sheets is my favorite highlighter, because it's kind of like goldish sort of shade. So i'm going to be using that for highlight as well so yeah my nose is kind of like a bit of like an e-girl. I don't know what you would really call it. A little glowy button nose going on there. Okay! So now i'm going to go in and do my brows all right, so this is kind of what i would do for just like a normal everyday makeup. Although a little elevated, this would be an everyday if i'm going out for a dinner or something like that. Makeup um because my norm, my everyday makeup now is just the tinted moisturizer and like a little bit of like a cream blush, and i also have eyelash extensions so that really helps the five minute face come together, but because it is valentine's day, i'm gon na Put on a bit of lipstick as well, so i'm just gon na be using a color pop one in the shade bumble, i'm not going on a bumble date this valentine's day, all right lips are done and i'm going to start styling. My hair, i've just detangled. My hair, which is probably 50 damp, um, took off my little piggy headband and i'm gon na be blow drying. My hair just going for like a simple sleek straight look today, so i was gifted this hair dryer by aria beauty and, i have to say, like i've, noticed an incredible difference between my hair dryer before and using this. So, as you can tell, i have processed my hair many many times, i've bleached it many times. I'Ve dyed it and done a whole lot of things, and because this hair dryer uses ionic technology, it really has been taming all the frizz like. I don't even have to really straighten it afterwards. There'S like pretty much no flyaways, it's very like sleek and silky soft. After i use it, um so yeah, i'm gon na be using that today um and then do my bangs just a little bit of straightening through and we'll be good to go to dry. My hair, i'm just gon na, be doing it in little sections kind of going down the shaft i'll, also kind of be lifting up. My hair blow drying it at the root to add a little bit of volume. For my bangs, um you'll probably see me kind of angling, the the air this way and angling. My hair um like in the opposite direction of the place that it normally sits on my forehead, and this is to make sure that the bangs don't really split as much in the middle. However, i kind of style my bangs to have that split as a bit. A bit of like a curtain, bang sort of look anyways. I find that it helps have a little bit less separation in the middle um i'll also be kind of lifting up my bangs to create a bit of volume while drying it as well. Alright. So you can see after just blow drying um, that my hair is super silky and straight already um. But i am just gon na go in with my straightener on, like about 300 degrees, just for like five seconds and make my bangs curl under a little bit. So this straightener is also from arya, which was gifted to me like six years ago or something i used this guy religiously. So just take all my bangs and kind of curl it under like that and then do kind of just part them in the middle. Let them fall to the sides of it all right. So now i'm going to put on my pink themed outfit and we'll be all done well. Thank you.
