Oh, my gosh. I really can't i did this, i'm so cute. I love it what's up y'all. My name is linda j, welcome and welcome back to my channel. I cannot get over it, but today i'm showing you guys a get ready with me from start to finish. It will include hair makeup and an outfit, and this is kind of a valentine's day, valentine's day edition or a galentine's day. I love a soft glam, but i was going for this brown smokey eye that i think i did a good job good job at while my tongue is so tight today, but i really really love this lips. Let'S go ahead and jump into my makeup first and then we'll do hair and then we'll do the outfit today. I'M thinking i'm i'm really a fan of soft glam, so we're still gon na do kind of a soft glam. But i'm thinking about trying a brown smoky eye now, have i tried a brown smoky eye before i have not, but i'm really i'm feeling like that's real sexy for valentine's day or valentine's day, so i'm gon na try that out and of course, we're gon na Start off how i usually start off if you've seen my last few sorry, if you've seen my last few makeup videos, then you already know what to expect. Literally, nothing has changed today. I am not today. Every day i use the porefessional primer by benefit. This has really been amazing. I love the way that it takes care of these pores for me, so that i'm less oily throughout the day. I really really enjoy this. I also have the um smashbox photo finish oil and shine control primer. I use that a few times before i got this benefit professional primer, but this benefit professional primer takes the cake. I'M really excited to see how you guys react to this video because of the fact that i'm doing my natural hair in this get ready with me. Now you guys like seeing it, but i do my hair a lot less often due to breakage the more i manipulate my hair, the more my hair is prone to breakage is what i've witnessed, and i prefer to not put my hair through that. So i do my hair a lot less. I might do my hair, like twice i'm like if that moving on to my kevyn aucoin highlighter, like i said, if you've been watching the past few videos at least the last few makeup videos, then you know this kevin kuan highlighter is the goat. I slept on this highlighter for so long and now that i have it or now that i'm no longer sleep on it, i don't even want to go a day without using it anyway. Thank you guys so much for all of the positive feedback. On the last video, the last video i posted was my wash day my updated wash day routine and you guys seem to love it. But i also appreciate those of you who have stuck around as i continue to just rebrand and work on my lifestyle. Videos as well as more beauty content and not just hair. I appreciate you guys being patient with me, as i continue to try to figure out a good balance between the natural hair and everything else that i want to incorporate onto my channel or into my channel. But with the pandemic, i'm wondering what you guys are doing to celebrate valentine's day this year. If you celebrate it, or do you do galentine's day, if you do that, how are you going to do it this year is going to be virtual? Are you going to have a small, intimate gathering or go to somebody else's small, intimate gathering or what i would love to know valentine's day falls on a saturday sunday, valentine's day falls on a sunday this year. I am not anticipating being out anywhere because valentine's day is usually hectic as heck, and i think last year was it on a friday, no matter what day of the week it is, people find a way to be out and about, and i just first of all, I just do not like being around people like that, but also with the pandemic being considered. I don't want to put myself or anybody else at risk, so valentine's day will probably be spent inside of the house. We'Ll just see how it goes. Oh, i'm so nervous because i bought this dress from zara and i talked about this dress i made what was it. I think it was um a vlog. It was the last vlog that i posted and i shared my zara in auritzia and world market hall, and i shared the the dress that i'm wearing today in that video. But it's a turtleneck and i have makeup on and i'm not sure is that hair. I know i just felt something anyway. There is something right here anyway. What am i saying? What am i saying? What am i saying? Yes, so the dress is a turtleneck. Oh, it's such a cute. Anyway, the dress is a turtleneck and um. How did i get the makeup all the way on my earring? The dress is a turtle like godly just get it out, and i'm nervous that i'm going to get makeup all over this turtleneck, but i'm gon na try to figure it out. I'M pretty sure i will get makeup all over it, i'm hoping for the best. I think i might be done talking. I usually don't have a lot to say anyway, i'm gon na do my eyebrows and i'll be back hello, we're back now. I can go ahead and start highlighting my face. I highlight my chin, the bridge of my nose, my forehead and my under eye. Oh and i highlight under my nose back on it, i was supposed to contour but i'll contour right now. I do like contouring before highlighting and it's not too late. Do i'm going to highlight just one more time. You know my friend just told me about well, she just tried the um, the sephora concealers and i've never tried a sephora concealer before, but she did and she really likes it. So i'm gon na give it a shot whenever i'm able to go back into sephora. So i can test out shades and get the right one for me. You guys know i use this, for what was i even gon na call it fendora, but i use the sephora clean. What is it radiant foundation? I'Ve been using it for man, it's probably been about a month, at least since i've been using it consistently. I really like it, so i would love to pair it with the concealer and share my thoughts with you guys. Once i do now, we are clear to go ahead and set my concealer jasmine sullivan's album lives in my head, rent free every single day. I don't understand like no one me don't have too much, don't have too much fun. Please don't forget about me all right. I think we are mostly good. I think i missed the spot right here. While i allow my setting powder to set i'm going to go ahead and contour. My cheekbones, i'm gon na add some more under eye powder for my eyeshadow just in case there's any fallout. Okay, which palette am i going to use today? I really love this violet voss palette. It is so incredibly beautiful, nah, i'm not gon na use the violet floss palette today. What i am gon na use is this real hair makeup palette and i am i'm gon na go in with this orange color. It'S called together. Hmm, i'm wondering, should i go in with accepting or indominant, let me see what accepting is is going to say. I don't really see much. Okay, that's fine! Yeah! That'S fine! Then i'm using my pharah mini taper blending brush to apply this color called dominant or indomin, wait indominable indominus and i'm going to apply that right above my crease line, wow. That'S so pretty! I am going to go back with my pharah tapered blending brush and what color did i use? I think it was. Was it oh, accepting i'm gon na go back and blend in that brown color with the accepting i'm not sure when my camera stopped recording, but hopefully you picked up on the you know the gist of what i'm doing, i'm not really doing anything else other than Smoking, the in dominatable color upward and then going back and adding the accepting and the together color up here, so i'm gon na just smoke it up one more time. Clip one's really really well looks pretty good on this side. So, let's do the same thing right here all right and then for the last time i'm going to go in with together and blend in the two colors seamlessly, or at least that's the goal, looks pretty good to me. I think i'm satisfied now. I look. You want to go in with a shimmer, but i'm going to stick to the plan and add the darker color, what color, what color color i'm going to add unshakable or terrific. Sorry, if it looks good, i'm going to add terrific on to my lid, has a little bit of shimmer that i like okay, i don't see much but we'll work. There still don't see much there we go. I like it. I like it. I like this. Oh, my i'm going to what am i going to do, i'm going to go back in with the what is this, the mini tapered blending brush and do the indomitable color again on my crease to blend out the color that i just added. I forgot the name of it. I think we're good for the most part. I do want to go in one more time with the accepting color and just sweep that right here, i'm loving, typically i'm tapping in the powder, as you see me doing right now for my under eye area, i'm going to both tap and sweep because i have Excess powder there that was used to catch any falling eyeshadow now we're going to bronze i'm going to start off with my temples, actually really love bronzing. Ever since i found a bronzer that works well for my skin tone, i've really been enjoying this whole bronzing. Your skin thing helps bring like a nice warmth to my skin that i really appreciate i'm using the same brush to add my blush and i'm using the pixie by petra palette. This is the sugar plum in the color that i'm using is sugar. It'S not called. I always call it sugar plum when it's actually called sugar blossom. The palette is called sugar blossom, stop calling it sugar, plum, linda. I love it all right, um, i'm trying to decide if i want to go in with the indominus color or the accepting color from my bottom lash line, and i cannot choose, i think i'll start with the lighter color, because lighter will be easier to cover. If i don't like it, let's see what this is giving nope. I don't like it i'm going to do indomin i kind of want to do accepting as well just like super lightly or actually together together, might look better what i oh, let me go ahead and clean up my jawline, perfect, okay, cool, i'm considering liner, should i Do liner, or should i do no liner, definitely going to do lashes? Let me see the lashes that i might use today. Um, i'm thinking lighter, do the mascara that i'm using is the yuma. I never know how to pronounce pronounce this correctly, but it's the! U o m a mascara. I think it's called drama bomb. I really enjoy this mascara. Should i go with the super dramatic lashes, or should i super dramatic? Oh actually, i think it looks good. What do you think? No, i love it. I love it. Okay, we'll save that for now i'll do the um i'll apply my lashes last. I think i do want to do this lippie with some gloss. It looked really good when i posted it on my ig stories, so i think i'm gon na do that again. If i can just find my liner in my lip gloss here, it is i've been seeing people contour their lips to make it look even juicier, and although my lips are pretty full, i've been thinking about trying out the concept. I love it. Okay, last step for my face is to apply these lashes and i did get questions on where these lashes or what these lashes are called. I do not have the box anymore, but i think it's called like miss lash or something like that. I got it from the hair store and i really like these lashes they're so dramatic, just how i like them, but they have so many shapes and lengths and full volumes, so i will definitely check it out. If i were you again, i think it's called miss. Lash i wish i kept the box, but yeah it's. I found it at my local beauty supply store. So i would so. I would suggest, checking the makeup section of your beauty supply store to see if you see these lashes if you're interested. Oh, these are definitely the heaviest lashes that i own, but they're. So pretty look at the difference between this eye and this eye. These lashes are so dramatic, but i love them so much. It probably can be cut a little bit more because i feel like it's like too long with with wise, but it's on my eye now. So it's a little too late. Just hear me. There is something i need for you to know. Just don't have too much fun with them. Don'T have too much, you don't have too much fun. Yes, yes, yes! Now that we are done with the makeup. What do you guys think? Okay, i tried to tell you or show you how my makeup ended up looking, but this is where we're at with it. I love it. It looks so good if you ask me now, i'm going to take out or take down my braids, so we can go ahead and get that out of the way. Oh, my hair feels so moisturized, i'm so happy. It feels so moisturized. I think what i might do so, what i did for this braid out. The only products that i used was my tgin leave-in conditioner and my shea butter and my hair is so moisturized, and this style was the style that i did right after the wash day. That i showed you guys in my last video i just rinsed out that deep conditioner i actually ended up letting my hair air dry on accident, because i started to work and by the time i was done. If my hair was pretty much, it wasn't dry, but it was getting there. So i ended up wetting, my hair, just a tiny bit, adding my leave-in conditioner, adding my shea butter, and that was it so yesterday i was gon na take it down, but it was still wet. So i let it sit for one more day today. It feels completely dry, so i would say that i let these braids sit for about two day two days and i'm excited because it looks super defined. What i'm thinking about doing is a little afro. Oh, you know what i should do. I should probably put on the dress and then do my hair okay, so i am going to. I don't want to mess up the dress, i'm thinking maybe taking the braids down um covering my hair with like a cap or something so that my dress doesn't get any moisture on it like any oil or anything, and then finishing my hair. That'S what it's! It sounds like that's a good idea, am i sure, no either way. I really wow. Look at that definition. We love to see it. Oh that looks so good and my makeup looks good. Oh, this is a good combo. This is gon na, be a really good. Get ready with me, i'm excited unless it's not unless this is actually going to end up really trash, which i don't see happening. I think this is going to end up super bomb, so i'm just going to fast forward or even skip to the next clip, because there's really not much to see with me taking my hair down wow, this looks good already. Of course, i love, i should have put oil in my scalp or on my scalp, but this is probably a look for somebody, but of course i love my volume i am going to gently separate because, though i don't mind frizz at all, i don't want it To be too frizzy, because i am gon na go back in with my um blow dryer to stretch my roots, this is already a mess. Okay, let's just leave it at that. Okay, so far, i've just slightly uh separated some of these. Some of these hairs. Some of these uh sections - and this section has not been touched yet, but we are did not say i was gon na put. I was gon na put the dress on my goodness, but anyway, i'm going to slightly separate this side as well. Okay, this could 100. Am i centered yeah. This could 100 be a look. It really really could and i'm gon na be so sad. If i go and blow dry my hair and i mess everything up. I don't think i will, but this can totally be like pinned up to the side and then real cute real real cute, but that's not what we're doing like i said. Let me go put the dress on. I could yeah i'll just blow dry, my hair on camera, for you guys to see i'll, be back i'll, be right back so, okay, because i'm loving how this came out. I really really really love it um. How do i part it? I want it to just kind of stay like this, but also this is kind of looking funky to me. Um. Let me see what i can do. Let me see what i can do. Okay, that's a little better. What are we gon na do with this? What do we do with this? Okay, okay, okay, all right, i'm! Okay! With this yeah! I know this is cute. I think this looks good. What do you think we did it? Yay hair looks so good. I had a feeling it would be a really good hair day. Ah, it looks so good so, as you guys saw in the last wash day, video if you haven't seen it i'll link it down below, so you can check out after you're done watching this one, but my hair was already sectioned off. I rinsed out my deep conditioner in the um in the sections in the twist that i had them in because my hair was already detangled. So when it was time to apply my product, all i had to do was un braid each section one by one apply the deep conditioner apply the shade more shea butter, as i say shea moisture, but the shea butter and then comb it not comb but brush It out a little bit with the shower brush and braid it up. That'S pretty much all that i did and then, when i got closer to the ends, i used the shower brush again to get rid of any tangles. That'S why these ends are looking so defined, but now that's pretty much it let it sit for about yesterday the day before so what two days now and it brought me here - i'm so happy - i love these results. Um you can choose to lay your edges or not, but i'm gon na not i'm going to go to the living room and we'll try this outfit on and then we'll end this video. So, let's move on to the next clip, so i am wearing this dress from zara and my coat is also from zara. You guys have seen that coat in my last. Get ready with me in this bag is from this. Bag is from forever 21 and these shoes are semi shoes, but i got them via asos.
