Solange On The Cover Of South Africa’s Elle Magazine

With the caption ‘Solange Knowles Fashion’s New IT Girl’ Solange is gracing the cover of South Africa’s Elle magazine. For the cover she wore a bold printed satin top and high waisted shorts and she looks FANTASTIC! I’m not much into fashion but I wouldn’t mind knowing where I can lay my hands on a couple of those rope bracelets.

Now that we’ve got fashion out of the way, let’s look at her hair. I talk about Solange and her hair a lot on this site it seems (here & here), it would seem that I am fast becoming a superfan! Anyhoo she has been quoted in the past as saying that she doesn’t like twist outs because she doesn’t like how they look on her but judging by this picture, I respectfully disagree.

Her hair has reached that ‘perfect natural hair’ length, if such a thing exists and her twist out (it could be a braid out or a rod set) has that perfect blend of definition and carefree frizz that makes it look like she’s not trying too hard.
