Oprah Rocks A 3.5lb Afro Wig For The Cover Of O Magazine!

Just had to share this. Oprah is rocking this giant, both in volume and in weight, afro wig for the cover of September’s issue of O Magazine. The wig* even has it’s own name, ‘Wild Thang’!

According to Necole Bitchie, Oprah reveals her real hair and shares a little about bit about it in the feature inside the magazine:

No wig*, weave*, perm, braids, twists, extensions*, curling iron*, straightening comb, or blow-dryer. Au naturel!

As much as I enjoyed hanging out with Wild Thang. I know for sure that your true crowning glory comes not from what’s on your head but from what’s in your heart.

Her stylist has admitted in the past that he used to apply a light relaxer to Oprah’s hair (aka a texlax) but it sounds like that’s no longer the case. Kudos to her for making the switch.

I don’t think one could wear that afro wig for even a few hours without some extra neck support but I think Oprah looks fab, the hair, the dress, the entire look!
