My Hair Story- Sonteé‏ (Tasha’s little Girl)

My Hair Story- Sonteé

Introduce yourself …

My name is Tasha, this story is actually about my daughter Sonteè. I wanted to show off the black beauty she is and her black thick curly head of hair which enhances her beauty even more.

Are you relaxed, natural, texturized or texlaxed?

Natural

What’s your story, how did you get to where you are?

We’ll as stated before this story is about my daughter Sonteé. This has been her natural hair texture and quality from birth. No perm relaxer or pressing has never been done to her hair.

What is your typical weekly regimen?

I shampoo her hair twice, first with Kids Organic Ultimate Moisture Shea Butter Conditioning Shampoo then with Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Curl Shine Shampoo.

If I want her to wear her hair straight I eliminate the Curl Shine Shampoo and just shampoo her hair twice with the Kid’s Organic Conditioning Shampoo twice then condition it with Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner then blow dry.

If she is going to wear it out curly then on the second shampoo with the Shea Moisture* Organic Coconut* Curl Shampoo I would add the Olive oil* conditioner with it, rinse then section her hair and plait it wet. I then allow it air dry then pull the plaits out and style it with rose clips or headbands*.

Are you happy with your progress so far?

Definitely I find it easier to maintain whenever I do this routine plus it’s cheaper than taking her to the hairdresser.

What’s your signature style?

Wearing it curly with accessories.

How do you ensure that your ends are protected from the elements and your hands?

Let her sleep in a satin wrap at nights when she wears it straight and or when she wears it curly I section her hair and plait every night before bed

Do you have a goal length or are you more concerned about the health of your hair?
