Beyonce Is Now Rocking Box Braid Extensions

Yonce has decided to do an alternative protective style, hip length ombre braids. The elevator diva is known to change her hair a few times opting for braids on occasion. She was spotted in New York with the hubby and of course there were a few pics and alot of speculation on how long it took to install the braids in her head.

My guess is that it didn’t take as long as it would a ‘regular’ person because Beyonce has people. According to the few blogs that have made this news worthy news, they are loving the look:

But Beyoncé may be pulling ahead in the best-tressed race this month with her latest look: A full head of long, elaborate braids.

I don’t know about the whole hip length thing though, but that might be just a matter of preference, the braids seem super light and they probably would make the sexiest and worlds largest top knot bun. On Instagram, her followers are calling her braids Solange braids because her sister is known to rock these from time to time, especially when going on vacation.

There is speculation that the couple might be going on vacation soon and that is probably why she had the braids installed, which is a definite possibility. We figured she would be headed to France to be apart of the wedding to trump all weddings, but who knows!

What we do know is that nobody likes to deal with loose hair on a vacation especially if you plan to be super active and not want the stress of styling your hair. Braids are still the ultimate protective style, and a great way to just lock your hair up for a minute and focus on other things. What do you guys think of Bey’s braids, yay or naw?
