KeKe Palmer’s Has ‘Found Herself’ in Her New Hair Color and Cut

The singer, dancer, actress, host has expressed to the world that she would like to be herself. She has expressed this with not only words in interviews and on her talk show, but she has also expressed this matter through her actions as well.

Throughout Keke’s career, her hair and demeanor has pretty much stayed the same until all of sudden in somewhere between 2013 and 2015, Keke has made some drastic changes. We are used to the star wearing her long weaves* and medium length hairstyles.

In early 2014, we became aware of Palmer’s very first drastic change and thought it would stop there, but we were wrong. Keke went from a jet black, pixie haircut to  blonde.

In a 2014 Christian Post interview, Palmer admitted to some things that she firmly believed in and was tired of hiding when it came to explaining her constant changes:

“That’s always what I want to be is true to myself and say what I want to say, do what I want to do and live the type of life that I want to live,” she told CP. “I never want to allow things that people say about me to stop me from being being who I am.”

There has been much criticism on Palmer’s changes, but the self-assured 21 year old is not afraid to let anyone know that she is pleasing herself and no one else.

According to Madamenoire.com, Keke had to defend herself when rude comments were posted saying she had changed and she needed to go back to her “old self.” There was even a meme made of Keke, saying she looked like a Mcdonald’s manager.

Personally I like Keke’s new hair cut and color, everyone goes through changes and sometimes getting a hair cut is a symbol of that. We all know what it is like to be 21, Keke has a lot on her shoulders, if she feels the need to express herself through her hair, then why the hec not?
