Why Are Folks Mad That Kim Kardashian Called Her Daughters Hair A “Crazy Afro"?

I am no Kardashian stan, but if you are constantly on social media like we are then you are bound to come across a story about one of the clan. If it isn’t about Kylie’s lips, or Khloe getting backlash for posting about the Baltimore Riots, then you are bound to see something about Baby North West.

This time Kim was invited to Jimmy Kimmel and she was telling a story about her daughter who she woke up to see a baboon. This is what she said

I woke her up this morning, early, and in the morning she’s got this crazy afro. I just took her outside in her pajamas and her crazy hair, and she was half asleep, to see the baboon.

Personally I saw nothing wrong with what Kim said, North is her daughter and yes we can wake up with crazy hair, every toddler does, you try getting your two year old to wear a bonnet at night? North has a fro, big deal! My fro is crazy right now, so who am I to judge a mom talking about her little girl?

Well from the looks of things not every one agrees with me, there are countless negative comments about this interview here are just two that pretty much sum up the negative temperament.

“Not surprised, this is the same women who always said she wanted a baby that looks like half coffee and half milk and cut up her own ethic features within an inch of their life so what she considers crazy or wild isn’t that shocking. But I always find it funny that people who marry and have kids with someone outside their race aren’t happy about said features attributed to said significant other’s race when their own kids end up with them.”

“No wonder that poor baby’s hair is always pulled into a tight top-knot. Wonder if Kim K would have called her hair ‘crazy’ if it was straight. I feel so sorry for the baby now.”

To be fair there were some positive ones too, people were calling out others for over reacting, saying that we get mad at ‘everything’.
