Delicious DIY “Root Juice” For Long, Healthy Hair

beetsY’all know as well as I do that what goes into your body will either positively or negatively affect the outside of your body; this is especially true for your hair.

Have you ever noticed that when you eat super unhealthy foods, it starts to take a toll on your skin? Or when you’re lacking in vitamin B12, it shows in your nails?

The same thing is true for your hair! What you eat and drink can actually have some really awesome benefits for your hair health.

One way to promote hair health is juicing. Juicing allows you to get all the nutrients of multiple fruits and veggies into one glass and replenish your body with all of the vitamins* it needs. Drinking protein/vitamin packed shakes and juices is a good way to keep your hair strong, long, and healthy.

Today I bring you “Root Juice”; it is a combination of mainly root veggies and some fruits meant to help the hair grow long and healthy with a beautiful natural luster. The juice is completely all-natural and can be altered to your liking, but as always, please consult your doctor before making any major changes to your diet.

Ingredients:

1 Medium Beet

2 Carrots

1 apple

1 stalk of celery

A pinch of 100% organic Ginger Powder

Beets are incorporated because of their level of lycopene. Lycopene is basically a natural chemical in fruits and vegetables that is responsible for their red coloring. It is also used for a number of medical conditions and problems, including halting hair loss.

Carrots are rich in vitamin B7, also known as Biotin*, as well as Vitamin A*, K, C, and are considered to be extremely healthy for your hair even when eaten alone. All of the vitamins* above aid in hair growth, protects hair from breakage, and improves blood circulation.

Apples are really to sweeten the taste of the juice, but they also have some great health benefits. Pyrus Malus (apple) fiber serves as great conditioning agent for your hair.

Both celery and ginger are rich in Vitamin C* which means they are great for healthy hair growth and split end prevention.

All of the vitamins* and nutrients will work together to benefit your hair in the best way possible. And even though this is not a replacement for a sturdy haircare regimen, it is a great addition to your routine if your hair needs a boost!
