Nairobi Salon Gives Natural Hair Makeovers to 30 Kenyan Women for Stunning Photo Series

Natural hair expression has been a reoccurring theme that has been appreciated around the world. Nairobi is one African City where you can find amazing natural styles being rocked on a regular basis.

Recently a beautiful campaign, #30DaysNaturally presented by a hair salon in Nairobi, wrapped up and reflecting back on the photos they are absolutely stunning. The campaign consisted of 30 gorgeous Kenyan women receiving natural hair makeovers by the salon in a variety of eccentric styles.

Amadiva Salon founder Maureen Murunga shares,

The #30DaysNaturally campaign was created to start 2016 in a celebratory tone for the new direction in our business. We wanted to state our seriousness about the natural market but more importantly celebrating those women who had chosen the alternative to what is still regarded as acceptable. It is particularly symbolic as we recognised the power we are giving large numbers of women and little girls, the power to know that “kinky*” is beautiful.
