Hi my name is Twynette and I work at Parodistic Designs.

How long have you worked as a licensed cosmetologist (or equivalent in your country) and where did you study?

I studied at International Cosmetology academy.

What is your specialty, relaxed, natural hair, locs or anything special?

I currently specialize in natural hair

What in your opinion is the most rewarding thing about working as a hair stylist?

The most rewarding thing is learning new and different styles daily.

When you meet that customer that has not had a great experience with a previous stylist, how do you make them comfortable while in your chair?

I like to make sure they are relaxed and all their needs are met…

If you could change one thing about the cosmetology industry what would that be?

Women learning more clipper cuts.

Where do you see yourself a few years from now, what are your goals as a stylist?

I see myself owning my own salon and launching a children’s hair magazine.

How do you stay motivated and on top of your game?

I stay motivated by keeping in touch with my teacher.

I am a single mom of six children who has been working hard toward my goals a in becoming a business women… I also have been dedicated and determined in getting my children hair magazine on the go but with no promotion or help after 2 yrs I will still continue in my dream.
