November 14, 2016 (Brooklyn, NY) – After a successful 6 month run in Los Angeles, 4 Love Productions will return to New York with Playwright and director, Niccole Nero Gaines, latest play, Hair’itage The Journey of Sistahs with Their Hair. Hair’itage will be showing November 27 at The Actor’s Fund Theatre, located at 160 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Tickets are available online for $27.00 General admission.

Hair’itage The Play is a story about six ‘Sistahs’ who share the journey of their hair and how their hair impacts them throughout their lives in many different ways. Playgoers leave in awe – empowered. Some even share tears of joy, as they can relate to the storyline from a personal perspective. Hair’itage The Play is a journey that women, and men, from all walks of life, socio-economic backgrounds, and cultural backgrounds will enjoy. With the recent natural “trend” taking the African-American culture by storm and the fact that a women’s hair is constantly a topic of many forums, Nero Gaines’ play has arrived just in time.

4 Love Productions is excited to take the show beyond off-Broadway where it premiered. Local organizations and groups can present this amazing production as a fundraiser. HAIRitage The Play is sure to enlighten, empower and allow attendees to embrace their hair journey. After all, even a woman with the worst hair day can find refuge in a stylist’s chair at the local hair salon.
