I am in awe of anyone who chooses to transition long term. Not only does it prove that your relaxed hair was in really good condition anyway, it shows a certain steely determination in dealing with two textures which can get the better of many of us.

Well I’m a big fan of alexxxhes on youtube and in this video she shares how she straightens her transitioning hair. She is not planning to cut her relaxed ends off any time soon and with gorgeous long hair like that, who can blame her!

She used an FHI 1 3/4″ flat iron to straighten her hair.
