Two Halloween Hairstyles You Might Want To Try

hqdefaultAhhh, so Fall has made it’s way to us. The different color leaves, pine needles, breezy nights, campfires, and yummy pumpkin lattes. Yes, that means Halloween is approaching. Oh my! I’m sure you will be attending Halloween parties, house parties, etc, so you will need costume and hair ideas…right? Oh, of course you do! Instead of buying a wig*, why not use your real hair this year?

Okay, so first costume and hair idea…The Cat.

Typical, but still cute, okay? Start off with damp hair or just dampen your hair with a spray bottle. Apply oil or moisturizer to reduce frizz. Section your hair and apply gel to make the style last.

Make sure you section the hair down the middle and horizontal. Make two ponytails. Twist the hair around itself to make a pointy bantu knot, and repeat on the other side. This gives a “cat ear” effect. Take down the hair in the back and define the curls if needed and you’re done! MEOW!

The next idea is Frankenstein’s wife.

Start out on stretched or blown out hair, this makes it easy to style. Section the perimeter of your hair and take the center section of your hair. Grab a donut stocking and pull your hair, but not all the way through.

Keep the ends tucked in. Next, pull the front section of your hair over the donut bun* and bobby pin it. Make sure you leave out two small section by your ears.

Work your way around your head, repeating the same by pulling each section over the donut and pinning it. Next, take the two sides you left out and spray them with white hairspray. Use gloves, as this can get messy. Pin the white sections up with the rest of the hair, and add more pins to make sure the hairstyle is secure. RAWR!
