Bob Like Banded Twist Out Tutorial On 4C Natural Hair

I love love, Naturalme4c for many reasons, one her accent is everything, she talks a mile a minute and just like me, she has the finest hair on the planet. I think what is unique about this youtuber is that she has mastered her hair, she has alot of shrinkage and knows just how to handle it. She embraces her texture to the fullest extent and allows her hair to do its thing without too much manipulation.

The style that Kriss demonstrates is great for high shrinkage hair because to create a bob, you need to bank on the shrinkage to give you the fullness you need in the right areas so that the bob can take its shape.

Start out with freshly washed hair. In the video Kriss uses all Jane Carter products, you can use whatever cleanser you can get your hands on. Clean hair gives you a fresh palette to work with so you can control the shape of your twist out.

Condition your hair well and then prep your hair for drying. Kriss used small sections in the front and larger sections in the back, that way the front was longer and the back would be shorter like a bob.

She also has some pretty neat stretching ideas which you will see in the video, so if you ever try this style or any style that requires stretching before hand, her techniques can really help.

Finally she allows her hair to set in twists over night and removes the twists the next morning. When you separate your twists you want to do it in a way that gives your hair a bit of shape, so not too much but just enough to be loose and keep the texture.
