DIY Creamy Raw And Organic Hair Butter For Winter

One of the great things that I love about the cold weather in terms of hair care is that we can pull out the thick butters. This might sounds a little off but I love the feeling of creamy moisturizers on my natural hair it just makes it feel all supple and stuff.

I am truly excited to share with you all a creamy all  natural organic and raw butter recipe by Youtuber Hey Fran Hey that will have your strands feeling nice and moisturized during the colder months! Check it out!

Ingredients Needed

1 cup of Shea Butter*- Shea Butter from Raw Apothecary is used in this recipe. Now , when it comes to shea butter, the consistency and quality can vary depending on the company. Now, Im not sure if the recipe will change due to the shea butter, but you can definitely try it with your own brand of shea butter*.

1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil- In the video, Hey Fran Hey uses Natures Way All Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil but feel free to use any brand of unrefined coconut oil that you prefer.

1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera Gel- Aubrey Organics Aloe Vera Gel* is used but feel free to use any kind of aloe vera that you would like. Just make sure that it is 100%  aloe vera gel* without additives, like carbomer or synthetic ingredients.

1 tablespoon of Jojoba Oil- Jojoba Company Jojoba Oil is used here, but you can use any jojoba oil that you’ll prefer.

1 tablespoon of Avocado Oil*– Aura Cacia Avocado Oil* is used in this recipe but you can use any avocado oil* that you prefer.

1/2 teaspoon and Neem Seed Oil– Neem Aura Naturals Neem Oil is used here but you can use any brand of neem oil that you prefer.

15-20 drops of Fragrance Oil– Vanilla Bean fragrance was used (yummy!) , but you can use any fragrance that you fancy.

Tools Used To Make This Butter

Ninja Blender– Or any blender that you have.

Mason Jar– To store the butter.

Steel Cups and Measuring Spoons– To get exact measurements for your hair butter.
