Constantly Changing Your Hairstyle Can Reveal 3 Things About Your Personality

I am always asked the same question, Why do you change your hair so much? This question is making me start to do a little self-evaluation so I began to do some in-depth research on just why I like to change my hair styles.

When I did my research, some scary things came up I either have an identity crisis, a spending addiction or I am a bit competitive which makes no sense if you ask me.

I couldn’t bring myself to even accept those results, of course because frankly some diagnoses are just over the top and just flat out doing the most. Here is my theory, changing your hairstyle constantly could just simply reveal some things about who you are and how you are feeling at the time.

1. You crave change.

The new and the different arouses you. One day you are fighting the power with a massive fro, the next day you might feel like rocking your short wig* with the cute pixie cut.

You’re closet is full of wigs* and packs of hair that are waiting around for you to say “NEXT!” You are spontaneous and you hate routines. This just means you are a neophiliac, and there is nothing wrong with that.

2. You don’t mind the attention.

You know you’ll get questions. Who does your hair? Can I touch it? Yesterday your hair was long, now it’s short! Where’d you get that hair? I like it.

There is a difference between wanting attention and ‘not minding it’. Simply put, not minding means you know your constant changes will spark some attention and you are perfectly fine with that.

You are definitely prepared to answer questions concerning your updos because you are used to getting questions all the time. You have people that stop you in stores, talk to you in restaurants and on vacation, it keeps things interesting.

3. Your hair depicts your mood.

Long hair makes you feel sexy. Those days you wear your short hair, you feel empowered. Your fro gives you and everyone around you life.

Your bad hair days make you feel as if every other area of your life needs to be polished. Your hairstyle either makes or breaks your mood.

Well that’s all I have, do you change your hair all the time? If so why?
