Diana denmark, here today i'm going to be walking you through a whole week's worth of outfits. I'M going to be showing you how i take the same wardrobe items i have again and again and i i can change them up. You know with the accessories or changing the styling of them, just to give you a little bit of inspiration today, a little update as well on my word for the year, which is fresh, i've got a fresh new haircut. Some of you noticed that in the last video i'll be talking about that, i must apologize for the bad lighting again again again, it is really dull and grey here in copenhagen i film using my my phone, i uh. If i've got anything to edit, i do on my telephone as well, so i'm very, very low-fi, but hopefully high inspiration and just encourage you doesn't have to be perfect youtube videos don't have to be perfect. I'M just checking with you too, to give you a bit of inspiration today. So anyway, let's get into it and all the outfits that you're going to see all the tops here. I wear them with the same uh bottom. So these are my the bottoms that i've worn this past week and it's almost the same thing that this is my kind of daily uniform, usually a pair of dark, wash jeans. These ones have got a slight slight flared leg, my beloved thermal blue trousers. These are ones i got years ago in. I think it was uniqlo yeah. It was uniqlo in in tokyo several years ago. I love these ones or um. If i'm wanting to make things a bit nicer, a pair of blue trousers and that that is it so so these three pairs of trousers, that's what i've worn this past week and they go with everything that you're going to see now the first item. This is one of the things that i was wearing when i went to see my mom over in edinburgh last week, uh a cotton sweater and, and it really fits my dressing, your truth type, one perfectly. It'S uh. It'S got nice high contrast, i'm a type one force. I like high contrast. It'S got a gold stripe going through and you know i love. I love my stripes and also some nice buttons on the sleeves some nice button detail in gold, and i paired it just with one of my favorite necklaces. I love pearls, um and, and my basics are gold and pearls. So i paired it with this necklace and one of my pair of uh blue trousers, so so that was one outfit and another one that i had with me in edinburgh. This is a bright, pink sweater and i chose this time to wear it with a gold necklace that you saw. It was one of my most worn items from last year, uh other other tight and also some gold hoops and in the past also i've worn it with this necklace and a bit bigger bit more statement, necklace and also the sweater. I can wear it with a camisole underneath or i've worn it with a long white sleeved t-shirt, to give me a wee bit more warmth and i've also worn it with a scarf here's, the scarf that worked with last time, and i tie it the same way As i tie this one, if you're looking for inspiration on how to tie your scarves, i made a video i think about three years ago, two years ago and we'll i'll put a link up there in a link down below so a lot lots of possibilities uh With this bright, pink sweater and then changing up, this was a sweater that i wore last week. It'S like i'm not sure if the camera is picking up, but it's a kind of seafoam color kind of turquoise. Now i've worn this in the past. You'Ve seen it actually in a recent video, where i wore it with a necklace, a pearl and purlin and gold necklace, and this week i added a scarf and you can see it's like it's exactly the same shade as the sweater that that was lucky and i, Like to tie it in a big bow at the side, this is a long scarf and again gold and pearl earrings. These were the ones that i got from my bestie helena. Her her friend daughter has um a jewelry company and - and i thought these went really nice - it gave me a little bit of animation with the kind of dingley bits of the the pearls with with the dots there. So so that gave me enough movement. Another ways that i've worn this sweater before as you've seen probably in another video, i think, is with a little false collar underneath you know one of these bib collars. So if i'm not wearing a scarf, i like to have kind of some contrast in the outfit as a type a 1-4, and that just that just gives me enough of a kind of a pop to bring out the color of the sweater. And this is one that i took with me to scotland. I had been looking forward to wearing this going out for for dinner, with my mom and yeah finally managed to get over to edinburgh, and i wore this one, and i just kept it very simple because there's a lot going on in the sleeves. But it's a really uh. I feel really fancy where i'm, when i'm wearing it and i can put on a plain blazer on top and it just tones it down completely, but i was wearing it, as is when we went out for dinner, and i paired it with these earrings, which are One of my new favorites - and this is a sweater that was wearing in last week's video - i wear all year round in last week's video, i was wearing it with um a thick cotton shirt underneath just to give me some warmth because, as i said, it is Kind of below freezing here in in denmark uh, but in the this summer i just wear it with um a short sleeve t-shirt. Underneath i can roll up sleeves uh. I can wear it with white trousers, but last week i was wearing it with blue and i think, if i remember really, i was wearing it with these um gold, hoop earrings and a gold bangle. I had lots of comments about this outfit that i was wearing in a video. I think it was two weeks ago, the blouse. It was one that my daughter, decluttered and i'm wearing now, and i paired it with this bright pink jacket, mainly when i'm um doing my coaching, i'm a life coach when i'm working with clients, i always like to put a jacket over whatever i'm wearing instantly, makes Me feel put together in business like, for example, today i will be uh putting on this one, if you're not into wearing jackets, that that's fine i'll show you a couple of other ways that i wear this particular blouse. I'Ve also paired it with a pink cardigan and bright, pink and lipstick and nails, and if you have a lace top or a pattern top that you maybe feel is a bit too much. If you wear it under a plain sweater and then you're just showing a bit of the lace or a bit of the pattern and if you push the sleeves up, you'll also be able to see the lace at the bottom. And then that's quite a nice. Look. If you feel that you know it's just too much for you on it, so and you can kind of tone it down by adding a jacket on the top or by adding a sweater on the top and then, of course, for my exercise gear. I'Ve got my bluetooth swimming costume anyway, back back to the normal outfits. All right now we update on my hair, i decided uh at the beginning of the year. I wanted a fresh and new look and i've actually gone back to one of my old hairstyles and what my hairdresser has done for me. This time is she's taken off a lot of the weight on the top of it. I felt like it was kind of dragging me down so she's kind of layered. It all the way through shorter layers, leaving more at the back and the idea with this one is. I can style it lots of different ways. I'Ve still got lots of hair on my head, but it's it's shorter it. It she's, really thinned out a lot, so i've got um very fine hair and by thinning out a lot also, you can really see um my silver streaks. I i never color my hair. I haven't colored my hair or highlighted my hair for about. Of course, it must be over 10 years now and i really love the gray silver. I should say tinsel and - and i think it comes out really well now - that it's been uh layered like that, and i can either wear it kind of behind my ears i can uh go. I can have it kind of down have a fringe not have a fringe. I can go to one side or the other, so i've got lots of styling options and i can kind of make it as big and full as i want or kind of calm it down, and it's working really well, especially as i'm kind of out on my Bike every day in all weathers, it's really easy to kind of uh zhu's up again at the end of the day, and i'm not feeling that it's kind of dragging me down and a bit of addressing your truth news now. You know i use the dress in your truth system for my capture wardrobe, and it's really helped me to really find my style and and come alive again. I feel so much happier getting back to my type 1 4 style and a little heads up here. If you've been sitting on the fence about oh my this type or that text, i get a lot of questions about. I know a lot of you have looked into since watching my videos all this month in the lifestyle group and you can you can get a paid membership for a month in lifestyle dressing. Your truth, lifestyle! All this month carol my friend carl hussell. She is helping people with their types. So, if you've been on that, you know i might type two, i'm a type four, i'm a one. Three go: go and check out the details in there how to get some uh type confirmation from carol, but it's it's just so fantastic to witness all these uh. Ladies finding out what what and usually it's it's the type that you thought of first or thought it means oh, no, i can't be that type because so anyway have a wee bit of fun. With that i'll see in the group, i know a lot of you are now members in there and i have to give you a really funny story about the dressing. Your truth makeup, because it's makeup month and they're doing all kind of offers with makeup. I had some dressing, your truth, uh lipsticks and you know, in order to avoid the long time with the shipping and the import duties, and all that i had them send sent to my friend margaret - and i remember margaret, who used to be here american margaret because Her husband comes on business to copenhagen. Quite often so margaret said, yeah, that's fine he'll. He could bring them over and it was just you know it's a couple of lipsticks and because i really wanted these um darker ones and suddenly lip pencils. So i i get them sent to margaret and you know, and then you can guess what happened. Restrictions were in again, her husband couldn't come over and i was like: oh okay, back back to the drawing board mark margaret was going to send them over to me. Then my friend erica, you know erica from america. Unbeknown to me, she she's actually from ohio as well, and she was over visiting family and she is also a member of the blue tits, chill swimmers group as margaret was, and they actually met up in ohio and went swimming together and then erica got the lipsticks From margaret erica brought them over for me, so it was a bit of a long way around, but i got my egg. I got my lipstick and erica erica from america. She is a fellow uh type, one and she's really into the dressing. Your truth, stuff too. I hope i gave you a wee bit of inspiration, uh, some outfit inspiration. Remember you don't need to be buying new stuff all the time i wear the same, the same things all year round today, i'm wearing this fluffy sweater. That was also a hand-me-down for my daughter. Uh, the scarf came from a charity shop and all i've got left to say is live long and prosper. May the danish hookah be with you and i'll see you very soon with a wrath wrath, wrap, okay, bye for now,

Diane in Denmark: How do you add style to your basics? I love accessories and bright colours on my lips and nails! If you follow Dressing Your Truth, what's your type?

margaret sofocleous: Congratulations Diane on passing the 70,000 subscriber mark. I love your hair and your outfits for the week. I had a new hairstyle in January and will be going back soon for a cut and blow dry. I also recently bought myself some beauty products and on Sunday treated myself to a handbag to go with my new blue coat. At 66 I need to start looking after myself. Thanks for sharing and giving me lots of ideas. Have a wonderful week xxxxx Margaret in Cyprus

Juliab: Your lighting is always perfectly beautiful & cozy I finally added some new tops and jeggings/leggings to the closet after purging nearly all of my wardrobe two-three yrs ago. It's so nice to have clothing that makes me feel good!

Holly: I really like the haircut! I love to accessorize with jewelry, mostly, but also like scarves. I have so much of both that I have been donating my collection, lately. I don't work outside the home any longer and just don't need all of them. I'll pass them along and let someone else enjoy them. You have a good week! Thank you so much for the Monday morning inspiration!

Monika Marsollek: Hi, Diane, thank you for sharing! Fresh haircut, looking like you’ve some wind in the hair and fresh colours are giving me a 'springy' feeling, like the first flowers now in our garden. During my work time I had a special hanger for 5 outfits from Monday to Friday, prepared on the weekends. Maybe I should try that again, it really was a helpful habit. My 'signs' are shawls of all kinds, uplifting colours and tunics. I’ve some jewelry, too, but as I’m not used to wear it daily, I feel kind of uncomfortable. Happy spring time, love, Monika❣

Jeannine Morgan: I love your hair! When I first had children I called my similar cut “wash and wear” hair. So easy to style, fluff, etc

Elizabeth Evans: Thank you for all the great clothing inspiration, I’m a T3 (secondary 4) - the last thing I though I was until Carol pointed me in the right direction! Loved the story about the makeup ‘delivery service’, since brexit DYT can’t deliver to the UK (that will change) but I’ve a very good British friend in Switzerland who comes over here regularly so she helped me out in the same way. Cheers to great friends !!

joyous2theworld: I love how you broke down your dressing plan. And what a neat story about how you brought friends together.

Karen Haire: Congrats on reaching 70,000 subscribers! Great video, as always. I'm still trying to determine my type but now it is jeans and tees or sweaters as I help my husband recuperate from an accident. Love your style in all respects!❤

Ginny Fisher: Thank you for your energy, joy and never ending great ideas for home and self. I do not think I ever get tired of learning about my authentic self and news ways to reinvent my wardrobe. Keep the ideas and good cheer coming to us often. We all need your wonderful energy. also, thank you for introducing me to flylady. I have been loving having a routine that does not stress me out about keeping up with my home.

Sheila Morrison: I like your new hair style, it’s very becoming on you! I also like dressing your truth, my daughter found Carol a few years ago. She’s a four - one like you, I’m a two. You have helped me get a routine which turned into great habits. You are so inspiring

TickledPinkTeri: Diane, I have always admired your hair! You always look so lovely and put together. And this hairstyle now looks fabulous as well! Thank you so much for all of your information. I will look into the dressing your truth system because we can always use a new update.

Rebecca Bealmear: You look lovely! I’m pretty confident in my primary 3, and was sure I was a 3/4, but am taking some time to think about possible secondary 2, and take a break from being active in the groups (on social media in general) and just work with what I’ve learned/learning.

Sharon: Love your outfit inspiration, and fresh hairstyle, Diane! T.O.T.H. sounds doable!❣

TheDriftwoodlover: Your cut is adorable and so versatile. Love your clothing choices, and today’s scarf is so cute. I have a lot of blue and white ceramics.

Rebecca Newell: I love the new hair style. Getting different ideas in how to change up the wardrobe is very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

123goca: You look great, Diane! Love all the details you put to perfect the outfits. I would wear them all. (Does it mean that I'm, also,T1? ) Lovely video!

: Such a fun video! I love your new haircut and all of the outfits you showed in this video. Thanks to you, I joined Dressing Your Truth a few months ago and just last week found out that I am a T1. I am so excited to start building a T1 wardrobe, so I was especially interested in the colors of your outfits. I love your style!

Anna-Leigh London: I just started following you and you’re adorable! I love the lace blouse with the bright pink cardigan

Benita Hammer: I love that you have a simplified wardrobe but so colorful and bright. So often, I see limited wardrobes but most of the clothing is very limited on color. I prefer print shirts (like you, I wear the same types of pants daily). Your videos always make me feel happy when I finish watching them.

beritbunny: I think you’re looking for extra-nice and very refreshed here! Your hair looks very nice, as well. Appreciate what you share, and as a 4/1 (I think!) of course I love these clothes; I’d wear any, but somehow turquoise is not quite “it” on me!

Cynthia Gibson: Thank you, Diane! So much style inspiration.

sable747: You look Spring ready! Thank you for the tips!

Jo Raine: Lovely inspirational video, Thankyou Diane! You look beautiful and fresh as always! It looks like you had a lovely time with your mum xxx

Cindy 1525s: Your new look is fabulous! Love the story of the lipsticks. Hurray for Margaret and Erica!

Kimberly Perrotis: Love your blue and white outfit. I wore a lighter blue and white outfit yesterday, it’s already spring here in Northern California, and these colors matched my spring mood.

Cheryl Thomae-Barnes: When the lighting is darker it makes your candles look more hygge Love, love your new hair style! I think you could wear a paper sack and still look great. lol Have a great week. ☃️❄️⛄️

Lisa Joy: Thank you for another happy video. I love to start my day with a video from you because you are such a ray of Sunshine ☀️ and inspiration!

Stefanie Preston: I heard you mention DYT on another video and fell down a rabbit hole all weekend watching YouTube videos. Not 100% sure my type, but looking forward to hopefully saving enough this month to subscribe and get the facial profiling done on Facebook! Thanks for opening a whole new world to me. I love your energy and I love your haircut!

Kinshasa Vargas-Pile: Love the blue sweater with the lace top! Great combinations.

Olga Ullman: Thank you Diane for this video! I love how you showed us how you pair your clothes and how to switch it up. I love to see how you can change it up. I also like your new haircut too!

STR LL: This is wonderful, thank you. Enjoy your lovely outfits!

Mary Shepherd: Finding a scarf in that exact same shade as your sweater is so fortunate!! Thank you for sharing your lovely outfits for inspiration.

Tine Heins: The video is wonderful as always. Thank you for your inspirations

Katrina Jeffrey: Love your hairstyle Diane, and your outfits are beautiful.

Beverly Martin: Looking just fine, so glad to see you and very glad you were able to gather together!

Amani T: Your haircut is adorable, also the outfits are fun and very colorful! I enjoy your videos very much!

Nancy Newman: I just fund the DIY Types yesterday and binge watched, which brought me to you :) I had been a fan of your channel when learning about Flylady, but had my routine set up and wasn't researching any more. So what a treat to find this mix of DIY and you. You look so happy and bright, a real inspiration :) For others that might be searching their DIY Type, pointerest has pages with descriptive words for each type. If you don't get hung up on perfectionism, you will figure out your Type in no time Lots of fun.

AmyJo: Wow, I needed this bit of uplift and inspiration from you today! I think the lighting for your video is fine. Love your new hairstyle and also your outfits. I really like your approach to things; be creative, use what you have wherever possible, keep things simple, don’t worry about perfection and love life! I am a bit bewildered about my energy/ DYT type though I do want to figure it out. I’ll be heading out in just a bit to search the resale/ thrift shops in my small community (US) - granddaughter’s wedding shower this coming Saturday and just received request to wear pink for her celebration (she calls it her “gal-entines” day).

Sharon Lavespere: Your new doo is cute and looks easy to maintain. Love your outfits. You always look so put together.

Abby Wassermann: You are such a stunning person! Always greatful to have you lighten up my day ♥️

Lori: Love your haircut and your beautiful outfits! . Congratulations on 70,000 subscribers!

Emma Broadley: Love the hairstyle, very fresh!

Tamara Russell-Czwartacky: Your hair looks so cute!! I love it!

Liddle Kiddle: Perfect haircut for you - so cute! And your eyes really pop with the blue scarf on the white sweater! Beautiful!

Lisbeth Skaalum: I love the pattern "musselmalet" . My favorite dress was inspired by that. (Esprit) Your scarf is a very Megamussel pattern. Will you please share where I can get it?

Becci Smith: One more thing, about your haircut! Your hair feels very similar to mine somehow! Even though our secondary is different, what your hair does is kind of what mine does, I’m also liking it more layered so that it feels lighter and I love easy to care for!

farbonette - Hochsensibilität: Dear Diane, through you I discovered DYT last week. I am pretty sure that I am a T4/S1. The description in the book "It's Just My Nature" is very accurate, also the facial features as well as those of my hands. However, I am a little unsure because I don't like black at all. It doesn't suit me and makes me look old, especially worn near my face. I do not own one piece of black clothing. Yesterday I treated myself to a Lifestyle Membership. Let's see if I can get smarter.... Carol also said in a video that there are lighter colored T4's. I have dark blonde hair, with silver natural strands. Maybe I am such a light type, especially considering my S1. Have very similar taste in clothing as you and love breton shirts. Thank you for your wonderful videos and your warm, natural way. Greetings from Germany

Lucie Gallagher: I was just thinking to myself where is Diane in Denmark? And you pop up!!! Yay!! I have to say I love your hairstyle, it really suits you. That’s such a fantastic collection of jumpers and it always amazes me how you can change up your look with a bit of imagination. Xxx

Susie R: Hi, Diane. You look fabulous and bright and cheery and so motivating. I'll be checking out Dressing You Truth. How I'm dressing isn't working for me and I also need to change the colors of my foundation and eye shadows. Thank you for the information. I love your channel and you represent Denmark very very well. Susie

Kathryn Noel: Love the new hair cut and your lovely sweaters with scarves! Pretty!

Elizabeth Rasmussen: I have been a DYT once member for around 6 years or more. The last 2 years I’ve stoped as member not because of not liking it but moved on. I’m a 1/4 as you are. Love POP. What I missed the most was I couldn’t find a Dane to follow with the program. I have bought a lot of things from the DYT store. That was when they also sold clothes. I have now started LadyFly around a month ago. Through LadyFly I founded you Diane. This morning I learned through this video at you are also a DYT. I’m going to injoy you videos. Thank you Diane for sharing and coming into my life.

Lana Van Hyning: Love your vids. And the lighting is fine in your bedroom. It's a lovely glow. And I love your hair.

Victoria Mendivil: Such a ray of sunshine Thank you for sharing!

justBcusIcan: Getting my creative juices flowing. And the lighting looked fine.

Charlotte Garcia: Thankyou for your good tips about styling and clothing. ❤️

Paige Belt: As always, you look lovely!!

Christine Evelyn: Wonderful video Diane. I love your new haircut and it does look so fresh and light on you. I have been getting into DYT because of your videos. Thank so much for sharing it with us. I think I am a type 2 but maybe I will get lucky and Carol will truth bomb me so I can start dressing my true type if I am not already. Love the outfit ideas. Have a lovely day.

grumpy poo: Love that false collar, what a great accessory. Yay for Erica from America..... what a handle!

ashandu: Love seeing you Diane!

Elizabeth Casey: I love that you love colors! So many "fashion" channels are black, gray, ivory and blah looking neutrals. Neutrals are fine and I understand, but I love color! It's fun for me to see what you're wearing!

Liz Williams: I loved the pink cardi with the lace top! I'm a type 4 but not sure about secondary

Yvonne Annibale: Really enjoyed your video. Outfits were wonderful. Lighting was lovely. I especially enjoyed seeing you with your sweet mother. You are blessed to have her. I miss mine. She passed 2 years ago. Thank you for sharing.

Sandy H: Love the new haircut! Congrats on 70,000!

Sharon Weinschreider: Love the haircut! Thanks for sharing!

Annette E: Your hair is very youthful and suits your personality. I love it!

Mary Beth: I'm a Type 2 Secondary 1 and instead of blazers I utilize cardigans. I like to choose ones without buttons with some soft flow to balance out the flow and animation in some of the tops I choose. And always some extra sparkle with a necklace and earrings!

Maja Knutson: Gratulerar till ett väldigt bra frissyrval Diane, de variantmöjligheterna kommer att klä Dig Utmärkt. Tack för de praktiska och användbara klädtipsen och Din Positiva attityd!!!

Rocking Your Path with Kat Sturtz: Type 1/2 here and you already know...a big fan of yours! Love your new hairstyle. I also use a android phone (Samsung). Do you use the built-in editing features in Gallery ... or which app to do use your editing? You're added bits (still photos) and text overlays always look so good.

Michelle Bedtelyon: love your new hairdo! very flattering!

Marcela Miranda: Hello, Diane! The scarf you are wearing is beautiful.

Lisbet Soda: Not having any luck (and maybe not real confidence) in the system, I am better with just going with my colour scheme and following a YouTuber who has the same style as me (Alyssa Beltempo), I still really love your videos and enjoy your cheerful disposition. I do like to use all accessories, right down to hair, makeup and nails. Still, it is good for me to get an occasional kick in the bahookie (not sure about the spelling). ❤️

Marion Harding: Lovely video thank you Carol .. I tried to get the colour charts for dressing your truth but I can’t get into links from the Uk in terms of ordering.. would it be possible to order the colour chart and ideas from you please my birthday coming up next week so big change! Using this system .. figured out from carols book iam a type 1/4 like you ❤️thank you so much Marion ( Dutchy living in the UK

Carolyn Eastman: So glad you had a nice visit with your sweet mom…..you always inspire….

Ginny: The haircut is everything!!!

Debra Gregory: Lovely outfit choices. Haha what a palava regarding your lipsticks. They had a round robin journey there. Would like to have seen the footwear and handbag options too.

Eija Salonen: I love your videos ❤. You inspire me!

prdycool: Love the hair! How do you style it/what products do you use? I'm a 1/4 with fine hair also.
